Hello all. I have a new ace 3 LTE S7275R. I tried installing CWM recovery found here:
http://www.teamandroid.com/2013/12/...7275r-clockworkmod-6-recovery-complete-guide/
I tried with odin 3.07 and 1.85
Every time, odin shows success, but when trying to boot into recovery, the phone gets stuck at "recovery booting...."
The phone is otherwise working
Any help getting CWM to work? Or alternatively, how can I return to stock recovery at least?

people did you know that if you flash original OS for s7275r like mine you can escape from the terrors of the bootloop or whatever you call it? Download it from samsung-updates.com and flash with odin in download mode. Its a bit tricky to get to the download mode, but if u take the power in and out a few times and then proceed to enter download mode it should not be prob.

The brother is right.
I did the same thing and got myself back to stock firmware and recovery.
Guess we have to wait for the official image from clockworkmod themselves.

Hey, I'll explain you what I did ;
After I rooted my device, I booted the device and it worked. After that, I installed CWM, tried to turn on the device and it doesnt work! stuck on boot animation..
Soo...I downloaded SiyahKernel which is the most basic and for major users kernel. You can download it here :
http://www.gokhanmoral.com/?cat=5
You install ODIN on your PC, open it, and click on PDA and open the kernel you downloaded(siyah kernel), you put your device on Download Mode (you press volume down, home, and power button. you will see the download mode screen, it will ask you to press volume up or volume down, PRESS THE VOLUME UP! THIS IS THE ONLY WAY ODIN WILL FIND YOUR DEVICE!). And than on Odin you press start. Hope it helped
so i flashed a rom (hd 40.0 or something to that effect ) and it was ll working fine was on it for a few hours, did a few reboots then decided to boot into recovery to do a backup of it but never got there. my phone will show the samsung gti9300 screen then go to a blacm screen with the crm logo in the middle and at the bottom it says "clockwork recovery v6.0.4.3" and it just keeps doing that, even when i try to start itnormally . i can get into odin mode but thats it, help would be greatly apriciated

You could flash a recovery with mobile Odin if you're phone is still able to boot up and rooted still.

I tried rooting my friend's galaxy s2 (i9100) using odin but after it said PASS (on odin) the phone rebooted itself quitting download mode and then got stuck at the logo screen. Is there any way i can fix the phone? I used this file to root : GT-I9100_JB_ClockworkMod-Recovery_6.0.2.9.tar
I hope someone can help me with as soon as possible, thanks.

I did NOT click on Re-partition. I did what you have said before (flashed again // tried another rom // redownloaded the file) and the phone is still not working. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm afraid I bricked my friend's phone i was just trying to root it

I don't think its bricked... uhmm try to go back to stock rom
go to sammymobile.com and there you can your pda and stuff... I hope everything is gonna be alright
But why is the recovery mode not accessible?
If you were in the process of rooting only then how have you tried out different roms?
Does flashing a recovery itself cause a bootloop?
dude sometimes mine also not boots into recovery. U can flash siyah kernel 6b5 tar version through odin. that will most likely boot into recovery

Flashing Siyah.tar via odin was the way i went. And all was OK!
I soft bricked my note 3 trying to flash TWRP via flashify following this thread Easy way 2 install TWRP recovery whit just simple apk... when i turn on the phone all it says is Rebooting Recovery.. then just goes in a bootloop.. i cant get into download mode it just stays in a recovery boot loop.
No matter what i do it stays in that loop, Taking the battery out and Volume Up + Home Button + Power Button nothing works it stays on that loop not letting me get into download mode at all.
It says recovery booting in blue then
recovery is not something enforcing in red Something because i can't read what the heck it says
set warranty bit : recovery in yellow and back to the loop
my phone is currently on 4.4.4 rooted
Why did i follow a thread by someone with a post count of 12????? i should have known better.

Have you tried a battery pull and booting into download mode? (vol down+home+power)? Then, volume up to confirm.
Once in download mode, you can use odin to install your custom (or stock) recovery.
Also, if you want your phone to boot, try the battery pull, start the boot into download mode, but cancel with a volume down.

Had to mess with it for a while , it would not come out of the loop or go into download mode either. After leaving the battery out for an hour or so i tried again finally got it into download mode , but odin would not see the phone, eventually it did but every time i tried to flash the tar of TWRP it would fail, i downloaded it more than once in case it was corrupt but it will always fail. i was using the last version of TWRP 2.8.3.0.
Downloaded another version of TWRP 2.8.0.0 and the first time i flashed it worked.
Thanks for asking sir.

Hi i was trying to flash cwm but now when i boot my phone all i see is samsung galaxy note 3 and on the top left it says :
Recovery booting...
recovery is not seandroid enforcing
set warranty bit:recovery
It just keeps rebooting i took out the battery and it still does this! I cant get into download mode or anything please help.
I used the odin root file (like a re-root) to fix this when it happened to me
Yep me too
More details like android version...the recovery filename would help. As others have stated, try flashing the cf-autoroot file for the SM-N900P
My guess is that your recovery isnt there. This happened to me once and I fixed it by reflashing TWRP thru Odin

No such thing as a odin root file, jpeery88 is correct just didn't say it quite right. First odin is software used to install (flash) rom and recovery (files) into your device (phone). ROMS are stock or custom and rooted. You need to get into download mode to install a custom recovery first before you can flash a custom rom. Click on ROM flashing basics in my signature for more info on how to get into download and recovery modes, root your device and more . . .

This was normally a job for a USB jig. I've not found anything for a note 3 though. You might take the battery out over night and try again.
Maybe with the sd card out as well.
Finally I think I've read an attempt with battery out but plugged into power.
after that its punt and buy a "new to you" one on ebay; they're like $140 now a days.
