I have been searching for all the players but i can't find a decent one. I'm looking for the one like MIUI v5 one as it has visualization (eye candy) and the music list has an alphabet tab on the right side of the screen to quickly jump onto the name instead of scrolling all the way.
Any ideas?
Try to find a port of the miui v5 app maybe?

anyone know what apps are included in miui? I mean miui apps, I heard there's a custom music player and camera, is this true? I'm very interested in checking these apps, but not very interested in being a miui bug tester

Almost every miui app is themed or miui-specific. Music, gallery, home, radio, browser... You can "miui music" and "miren browser" on XDA (i think the torch app was featured in the portal some days ago.
Have fun with MIUI apps

Guys, I have tried almost all the ROMs posted out in XDA for SGS II, except CyanogenMod. And believe me, MIUI is THE BEST when it comes to butter smooth user experience and the battery life. Yes, Battery life is just awesome. I am not a big fan of MIUI launcher, so I replaced it with ADW, and my life is Cool ;-)
Alright XDA people, I've searched for a thread on this topic but had no luck.
The stock music player on the 4.0 sucks, let's leave it at that. I now use PowerAmp. BUT! The stock music player icon in the dock is annoying me now because I will never use it. I'd love to replace that icon with a shortcut to PowerAmp.
Short of flashing a new ROM, do you guys have any suggestions for a solution?
Thanks.
Try using a new launcher, like ADW Launcher EX, with it you can move around any icons and shortcuts, including the dock.

Thank you! Zaclimon hit the nail on the head - I quite like the stock launcher so I wasn't looking to get a new one, but this fixed the problem. Thanks again.
Thank you!

ROM - Paranoid Android By ByteCode.
Sent via XDA App.
I installed and I liked it - for a day. On day 2 it started an update that was not a normal Play Store update. There were download notifications in chinese. Seems really suspucious epsecially considering where it was developed. Also the support web site is all chinese rendering it useless to a lot of people. Beware.
Guess u tried updating from the in-app update option.
I update only via google play hence did not come across this issue.

Windoss 8 style launcher is more boring.
Windoss 8 style is more boring, but not bad WP8 launcher... nice:good:
Used it for about hour and restored to Trebuchet... This is good for bigger phones (screen size OFC).
Have any of you experienced a lot of lag with this launcher? I'm used to launchers like nova and trebuchet that are nice and smooth while this one seems to be choppy. I like it a lot though

I had asked this in a different part of the forums but then realized this is probably where it belongs. I'm looking for a clockwork/steampunk clock and weather widget. I have yet to find one I like. I downloaded UCCW and tried messing with it but I'm not very good at it. Is there anyone out there that has designed their own or know of any?
Also how would I get different icons without using a whole theme or downloading a new launcher? I'm running on the Liquid smooth JB ROM and I like the included launcher.
