Known issues
- minor: screen capture is not working.
- minor: poweroff from recovery when usb is connected reboots into recovery, however, offline charging from rom is fine
The Note 3 version seems good, so I do not expect many issues here
Please test:
- mount USB storage on PC
- USB OTG mount and format to exfat/ext4 for testing
- Backup to exfat sdcard or USB OTG

Take your time, Phil. :good:
Today I had hardbricked my tablet.
I had been trying to develop a new root variant for P605.
TWRP seems also slightly buggy. After a full wipe my tablet died.

Good luck in RMA also
Can't wait for this to work properly either.. TWRP seems to stop me from flashing a pre-rooted ROM, kind of a must for a worthy ROM imho..
Hoping this will flash

Version 6.04.3 Alpha
http://d-h.st/users/philz_touch/?fld_id=29981#files
This is a repack around a pure stock ramdisk, like I used to do with Samsung devices.
They often work better this way to start with
It could have some selinux issues, but those we fix later, once we get it boot into gui
State was moved to Alpha to reflect it is early debugging and untested
Noobs should stay away for now
I love you man!!!!
Thanks for your great work, to my, one of the best recovery.

Introduction
First time,I want to say THANKS !!!! to @Tasssadar because he's the creator and he helped me a lot !!!MultiROM is one-of-a-kind multi-boot mod for HTC One (international). It can boot any Android ROM as well as other systems like Ubuntu Touch, once they are ported to that device. Besides booting from device's internal memory, MultiROM can boot from USB drive connected to the device via OTG cable. The main part of MultiROM is a boot manager, which appears every time your device starts and lets you choose ROM to boot. You can see how it looks on the left image below and in gallery. ROMs are installed and managed via modified TWRP recovery. You can use standard ZIP files to install secondary Android ROMs and MultiROM even has its own installer system, which can be used to ship other Linux-based systems.
Features:
* Multiboot any number of Android ROMs
* Restore nandroid backup as secondary ROM
* Boot from USB drive attached via OTG cable

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCYh14Zwl3s You can also watch a video which shows it in action.
Warning!
It _is_ dangerous. This whole thing is basically one giant hack - none of these systems are made with multibooting in mind. It is no longer messing with data partition or boot sector, but it is possible that something goes wrong and you will have to flash factory images again. Make backups. Always.

Installation
Note 1: Your device must not be encrypted (hint: if you don't know what it is, then it is not encrypted).
MultiROM has 3 parts you need to install:
[*]MultiROM (multirom-YYYYMMDD-vXX-m7ul.zip) - download the ZIP file from second post and flash it in recovery.
[*]Modified recovery (TWRP_multirom_m7ul_YYYYMMDD.img) - download the IMG file from second post and use fastboot or Flashify app to flash it.
[*]Patched kernel - You can use either one of the stock ones in second post or third-party kernels which include the patch, you can see list in the second post. Download the ZIP file and flash it in recovery.

You current rom will not be erased by the installation.

FAQ
Click on this link
Adding ROMs
1. Android
Go to recovery, select Advanced -> MultiROM -> Add ROM. Select the ROM's zip file and confirm
Click to collapse
2. Other Systems
Unfortunately, no other systems are available as of now. But, MultiROM _theoreticaly_ supports them - the principle should be the same as on grouper, we just need the systems. That's why the options in "Add ROM" menu in recovery are there, but do not flash systems for old Nexus 7 (grouper)!

Updating/changing ROMs
1. Primary ROM (Internal)
Flash ROM's ZIP file as usual, do factory reset if needed (it won't erase secondary ROMs)
Go to Advanced -> MultiROM in recovery and do Inject curr. boot sector.
Click to collapse
2. Secondary Android ROMs
If you want to change the ROM, delete it and add new one. To update ROM, follow these steps:
Go to Advanced -> MultiROM -> List ROMs and select the ROM you want to update.
Select "Flash ZIP" and flash ROM's ZIP file.

Wait, this is just for the International HTC One ?.
I've just installed the MultiROM modded recovery, but on my HTC One, the resolution is wrong. The recovery cuts off at the right side, so the back button in TWRP is almost completely off-screen and the second column of icons is more or less right-justified. This is a big problem when naming backups, for example, because the keyboard is also cut off and the rightmost keys are beyond the screen's margin. Currently making a backup, so I'll test the actual MultiROM functionality soon.

I try it and dont work. I think it was a kernel issue. Your Kernel dont work with EragonRC4.
My first rom is EragonRC4 (Sense based).
First I install EragonRC4 than I Flash your Recovery than your kernel and your multirom.zip. After that I boot up Eragon and wifi is gone

Hm, then would an alternative be trying to build ClockworkMod Recovery Touch until the button issues are solved?
Just throwing ideas out.
As mentioned before the select key does not work, also the resolution is huge and this makes the writing in recovery super small, the few lines available are like 3mm in height and almost impossible to read

Stock kernel is too big in your case
Still waiting for someone providing results from:

Once final, I will provide zip and tar
I will release a v3, a bit experimental, but hope it works
v3 experimental
http://d-h.st/rBr
I hope someone can test this experimental build
I used a prebuilt dt.img combined with a compiled kernel from source
v2 was fine but I prefer having a cleaner solution by building kernel from sources. The issue is that I did not find how to build the dt.img file as dtb files are not built during make provided by Samsung
At worst, it won't boot to recovery and you have to use odin to flash another recovery or previous v2

Thanks
I was expecting it as dtb must be compiled along kernel
However, Samsung sources are not compiling the needed dtb files needed by dtbtool
I am trying to learn how to compile dtb files from the dts scripts along the zImage
However, without a guinea pig device, it is time expensive
Meanwhile, I will provide you with a decent build using a cracked adbd binary to have adb shell with root privileges
I notify @Chenglu as he did a huge work on the dtbtool part
Found this reading:
http://www.armadeus.com/wiki/index.php?title=Kernel-with-device-tree
Will work from there and try a v4 soon
I could generate the dtb files
However, there is only dtbTool for Qcom
Dropping this until we have more decent sources from a developer more used to kernels or Samsung releases info for it if not yet
Dear bros/siss, I am an old member of this forum but never happen to me to write any thread. I do read about threads but i am not that genius like our devs, but since i have strong desire about my phone's appearance, i would like to tell you two thins:-\
1) I want oxygen os of one plus two phone which should work without any problem and steps for noobs are very very clearer. Also,it should work on any platform version like 4.3, 4.4 etc.
2) An official/unofficial CM 12 with zero (0) bugs.
We, all users of Grand2 have invested approx rs18,000 to rs21,000 to buy. But nowadays, every mobile phone, costs around 10000-15000 has got CM and many more, but still we are fighting for CM for these continuously 1.5 years. Please i request you guys to raise a positive voice to our DEVs to make these OS as we are awaiting for too much. Kindly share this thread.
Your loving friend/bro.
Thanks.
Hi sorry this is not the right place to ask for roms or things there is a separate section for questions and answers I came here for fora one plus 2 rom you may mislead many people like this so kindly ask things in the questions and answers sections thank you @VECTUS kindly remove this thread or move It as It may mislead at people thank you
here
1> On the TWRP recovery installed on your device, Download the OxygenOS ROM zip file and save it on your desktop.
2> Now extract the folder on your desktop and you will see two different files in the folder. Oxygen_1.0.0_Flashabdle.mdf and Oxygen_1.0.0_Flashabdle.zip. You need a zip file.
3> Step 2. After this connect you phone to the PC and Move the Oxygen_1.0.0_Flashabdle.zip file on your phone.
4> After this turn off your phone and boot in recovery mode. TO do this Hold Volume down button + Power button.
5> Now you phone will boot in recovery mode.
6> Now after this select Wipe option and and delete Cache, Dalvik cache and data.
7> Now go back and Select Install option and ‘choose zip from sd card’ from the Options.
8> Select the OXygenOS zip file and confirm the installation on next screen.
9> After the flash succeeds, you can reboot the device.
10> Enjoy.
So does the rom work? And were is the link to download the flashable zip?
its for oneplus one phone only and i want to know about our phones. so i wrote here coz may be any DEV can help us... link i missed but can be searched o google.
You are 100% right
Maybe its not the right place to ask but the important thing is that devs should read this
I`ll tell you something my friend ... we have few devs and almost of them not so talented ... they could import easy roms (like gennext ) but they cant build roms without bugs so dont expect too much ...
The truth sometimes hurt ... but we still love our devs and support them

Hahah Correct Dom...
1st The Hardware differ's far apart in both devices...
2nd CWM or TWRP won't even start the zip installation(I suppose so)
3rd Even if it were to start, it will eventually fail giving you message about weird sh*t you don't know
4th You Dare to try it and fu*k your phone... You get a boom, The chips and Mother board are fu*cked up...

I'm using a oneplus two and its a great device. But a major problem with it is that the stock ROM of the phone that is the OxygenOs is too buggy and so the oneplus users are moving to custom roms. So, I would recommend cm12.1..
In addition to this the features of oneplus devices and grand 2 is also very different so it will very difficult to port it.
So in short I can say stay with whatever you have right now. Its the best available at the moment.
Hit thanks If I helped!!

Yes the updates have fixed some bugs but still it's buggy for me and some others. And if this ROM is ported to other device then it will be a house of bugs.

Oh come on, you know what it is - don't try to fool me!

Seems to be working well. Backup, Restore, Install from zip, Mount, Settings all worked flawlessly for me. Only concern: CPU temp rose to about 80C during backup, with a spike of 95C.

I can't see our device in the device list of TWRP Manager. Is not all official builds available through the app?

Same here.
And I'm probably missing something, but .img files are not flashable through Odin...

I got an answer on that separately. The app isn't actually officially supported by the TWRP team. The app maintaner has to add new models/builds to the list. Once I found out it was unofficial I just carried on using Flashify, which offers similar, except its list includes our device.
As for the img file thing, you are correct. You either need to convert it (which I did try, and didn't succeed at) or use something like Flashify to flash the img file.
My g901f is encrypted with TWRP 3 in recovery. I can't change kernel. Can't TWRP support encryption?

ok installed via flashify, thanks to the poster who posted this, twrp shame on them for not fixing their documentation.
Now the issue is its still buggy like theunofficial builds.
1 - brightness setting doesnt work
2 - vibrate doesnt work
3 - if dont touch screen for 5 seconds it then freezes for 30 seconds before responds again
4 - device reboots during backup
chrcol said:
official support already removed?
download links only have odin files so I grabbed the app, kccat6 isnt listed.

See the official TWRP page.
I managed to do backups now, so at least it functions now. Will keep this over philz since CM/philz is dead.
and yes I did read the offiical page, it has incorrect info, as it says to use the app which wont work, I used flashify. They need to edit that page to tell people to use flashify and warn some features dont work, thats all.
sorry guys, having trouble keeping track of all my threads. updated the thread and building tars soon.

i don't own this device myself, if you have those issues then come to #twrp on freenode irc and we can work on making test builds to fix those issues.
the tester had told us that everything was working fine.

Can some folks please try this: https://idlekernel.com/twrp/kccat6/twrp-3.0.2-1-b4-kccat6.tar.md5
I've updated f2fs drivers, now using CPE1 kernel sources from Marshmallow.
I've added more partitions to EFS backup, and fixed any possible issues that might be happening during modem/firmware backups.
I also added CM13 hardware qcom encryption support.
And fixed the brightness adjustment hopefully...
Of course I still need someone to report back and let me know if these are actually *fixed*.
I'm still going in blind as it's not a device I own.
Here are the complete changes: https://github.com/jcadduono/androi...mmit/dc77b5ca4fde9148211515d7600776b1b27da1ca
Please also let me know if there are other issues I don't know about!
