Does anybody have the Samsung OEM dock for the Note? If so does it have enough leeway to be used with a TPU case on the phone or is it just too tight?
I have the Samsung dock and the elago slim fit case, and the phone docks without any issues.
Will not dock with the box wave slim case. Or the speck cases sold at at&t store.

TPU cases prevent the usb plug from seating fully, they are just a little too thick (mentioned this in my review of the Cimo Tech case).
Cases like the Elago Slim, Incipio Feather, and SGP Ultra Thin have exposed upper and lower sections of the phone that let the dock work without problem. I'm using the Elago as my everyday case and its working out great

I have an extended battery back and a bumper case that I modified with a dremel tool to give a little protection.
I am looking for a belt clip to click it into. Right now I am using one I got off of amazon that came with a separate back. That one is a sliding belt clip.
I wold like one that I can just click it into place. Like the Lifeproof for Iphone.
Also waiting for a bumper case that works well with the extended battery.
Thoughts?
Sorry for the vague description.
I have read that some people are using the SLZF aluminum bumper and the Mugen extended battery.

As for the clip, how about one of these?

So I've had my note 3 for a few months now and absolutely love it. I started off with a simple spiegen slim armor case, but I would like to get something like the Spiegen Slim armor case with a flip cover that utilizes the s-view feature. I've also wanted to start using wireless charging. However on a lot of these cases they use the same pins on the back of the phone that a lot of wireless charging inserts use. So my question is, Has anyone found a decent combination with a good, tough case that can utilize both wireless charging and the flip cover features?
There are no other options if you wanting a rugged case and sview. I would recommend just getting a slim qi wireless receiver with pas through pins to retain the sview and add wireless charging . That's what I did when I had the spigen slim armor. It adds a little bulge on the back but works perfect.

I have a poetic case that I love but it's now removed after reading posts from people saying the magnets in the case have caused the digitizer in Samsung Note devices to malfunction. I cut open the case to remove the magnets and there are 15 magnets in this case. That's crazy.
Is there a slim case out there that doesn't have magnets?
Just picked up a Speck case and i don't think it has magnets. Pretty happy with it.
Picked up the official Samsung case for $26 on ebay. Happy with the form factor.

The samsung case has magnetic strip that runs down the middle of the back of the case used to "connect" the case for various standing positions.
The speck style folio from my understanding is one of the very few magnetic"less" style folio cases.
I bought a defender from otterbox, but for around the house I think I will get the speck case. :good:
Figured opening something for this would be useful for everyone. Being that this model has different dimensions from both the Z3 standard and Z2 itll need its own line of cases. Theres apparently a tough case mate on the way and some leather slip cases. Post up what you come across as you go.
I did some research and found out the cases for the Z2 L50h will work for Z3v since the dimensions of the phones are the same.
I've found no evidence to support that.
VZW website has 2 cases up so far. A silicone one and the usual hard case with holster and kickstand.
It appears that Verizon might be stocking a third case in the near future - If you go to the all accessories page (not the cases page) on the Verizon website and and filter by the z3v, there is also a Incipio DualPro for Experia Z3v in purple or black in the list, although it gives a 404 if you try to click on it.
It looks nicer then the other options, so I'm hoping it is released soon.
Update: I can now get to the details page and ad it to a cart, so maybe they are adding the listing this morning.
The incipio is out in stores. I got one when i picked up my phone. Its actually pretty nice.
Do you need to take the phone out of the case for charging wirelessly?
i have the cheapo black case, works fine charging wirelessly. it was like 19 bucks?
Both the incipio and silicone Verizon cases can be left on to charge wirelessly

That aint cheap, just to some standards. XD
I have the plain silicone case too but geez...it looks VERY plain. Wished the incipio one was in store when I got it at the time. :/
Do the z2 cases fit the z3v

Unfortunately no.
Your best ones available are pretty much the plain TPU case and the incipio dual from Verizon. I have the plain one, but it does pretty alright for what it does in giving me grip.
Everyone should contact Diztronic and ask them to make a TPU for the Z3v. I've always liked their TPU products.

I have the kickstand holster case and just use the shell. It looks good but the protection isn't the best. It covers the back glass but the top and bottom of the phone are exposed in the middle. Not bad though. Both this case and the plain TPU case I bought work with my Sony 5,000mah wireless portable charger (nice device btw) and the Chloe Qi charger.

They're not TPU cases, they're just plain silicone. I'm waiting for the TPU cases to come out
The Incipio case is the best one out right now.
i had post this on the other thread:
look like theres a new TPU case made from China that looks very interesting

There's an otter box defender on otter boxes site. Looks bulky.
I am using the Z2's Trident Aegis case on my Z3v. Fit is just about on point. The opening for the charging port/SIM card is a little off where I can't open the charging port cover to charge. I have to remove it from the case. The cutout where the earphone port is has a gap around the little flap that covers the actual port.
Other than those minor issues, I have been satisfied using this case until a more specific fit case rolls out.
