- Restore your TA partition using the tool 'flashtool'
- use Flashtool and press the BLU button and choose "Relock".
If you are on a custom ROM you wont be able to boot. You'll need to be on a Sony ROM, with a stock kernel.
Otherwise don't lock the bootloader.

[Q]Neo V locked bootloader modified kernel

hi anyone manage to convert custom img kernel to ftf and be able to flashed it with flashtools without any error?
I have managed to convert img kernel to ftf but facing error while flashing it in flashtools.
The reason that I did that because of my phone won't allow bootloader to be unlocked. And my phone are sim unlocked+test point method bootloader unlock but no fastboot mode.

Hi!
My Neo V is sim and fastboot locked. I unlocked it via testpoint and tried to make a kernel.sin and after a flashable ftf. Here is a guide for you: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39544867&postcount=9
1. Convert boot.img to kernel.ftf
2. Unlock your phone via testpoint
3. Copy Flashtool/devices/R800/loader_unlocked.sin to Flashtool/devices/mt11
4. Flash the kernel
5. Boot into recovery
6. Install rom and gapps
Now I'm using cm10 without any problem! Good luck!

[Q] Relock / Return to stock

Hi,
I have a question about relocking bootloader / restoring back to stock.
I found out it was possible to relock bootloader using Flashtool. If I flash a stock Sony ROM using Emma, and then relock the bootloader with Flashtool, does it mean I will be back to factory state ? Will I be able to do OTA updates etc. ?
Or is there no way back ?
I did not save the TA partition before unlocking...
Thanks!

Return to stock

Hi
I rooted with the Geohot make it rain method and then backed up TA before unlocking boot loader. I currently have Doomkernel.
To restore to stock, is there a flashable stock zip somewhere for .402
Then is it a case of restoring TA (which relocks BL?) And then unroofing?
Thanks

Safest way:
Factory reset the phone (on the phone)
Flash a valid ftf
Re-root
Restore TA (BL will LOCK)
Reflash the ftf if you want to lose root
.
Yes, you can download a image for your device and then flash it with the flash tool. It can also relock your bootloader.

NOPE
ftf will NOT relock the bootloader.
(OP wants the BL locked, not relocked too - only TA backup can do this)

Yeah you're right, ignore me and my too fast reading

can't relock bootloader and stuck

I'm trying to go back to stock from CM12.
I tried flashtool to flash a stock image, and after I selected relock bootloader.
it says it's gone OK, but stock doesn't boot after.
If I go back to flashtool, and I select BLU, it gives me the option to relock the bootloader! I thought it was locked already.
what can i do?
thanks

This only works if you unlocked the bootloader using the official method of unlocking the bootloader.
If you did not do that and perhaps unlocked bootloader using flashtool the only choice you have is to restore the TA partition.
That said if you made a backup of the TA partition before unlocking the bootloader.
edit: What is the status of the phone when you say "stock doesn't boot after."?
Does the kernel not boot? = vibrates three times when power button being pressed.
Does the phone boot but get stuck in a bootloop?

Somehow, after a second flash of the stock ROM, and selecting to wipe data, the phone booted in stock, and works fine.
I still had an unlocked bootloader, and flashtool relock or fastboot oem lock wouldn't work.
I managed to find out what the problem with Backup TA tool was, I replaced the adb previously, but I didn't need to, once I went back to the standard adb, the TA restore worked, and with it, the bootloader locked!
this is now solved. thanks for the help.
one question now.
Is this now the same as stock stock? will i be receiving OTAs or should I do a repair with PCcompanion just to be sure?
rather not if not necessary as I already rooted

Unlocking bootloader is not risky if you follow the instructions, . Ota updates will stop but that will not be a problem because you can install new ftf with the flashtool.
U can get updates throught OTA. Just backup DRM keys before first unlocking bootloader and if u you are finished u can restore DRM after locking bootloader and everythings will work fine again.

You need root in order to backup your DRM keys.
You could flash the .128 from XperiFirm with Flashtool and the root with rootkitXperia.
I did it, boy. DRM is for me everything. I never unlock bootloader without backup DRM keys.
I tried to flash it(26.1.b1.85)....but my phone is not entering download mode unfortunately..

are you on the latest firmware for Dual Sim M4, then try this it worked for me.
enable debug mode, enable install from unknown source, Connect you phone to Flash tool.
Click the flash button select "FASTBOOT Mode", click "Reboot to fastboot (Via ADB).
the phone should enter fastboot, then disconnect the phone from usb (do not power on)
on flash tool, click close for fastboot screen.
now click flash again, select flash mode, select the firmware required (26.1.b1.85), click flash, wait for the preparing firmware
and when it asks to connect the phone, hold Volume Down and connect the USB cable do not let go of the Volume Down Button
when asked do you want to use the default.fsc file click Yes and release the volume down button.
