I'm looking for an extended battery that could be used with the otterbox defender. I would be willing to modify my defender to make it work.
I've got the zerolemon battery and case. However I do not like the case. For the money it is great. And I would say if I had not already had the defender before I got the zerolemon I wouldn't mind it. The zerolemon battery is awesome but it's way too big to use with the defender.
Any suggestions?

Hey does anyone know if we have an extended silicone case yet?? I want to get either the 4000 mah battery or the 3500 mah battery but I need a silicone case for it.
Give it just a little time I bet Trident Case will come out with their Electra Case which is case and battery included for like 70 total...
I'm interested in this too. I have the HTC OEM silicone case and love it, but it won't fit on an extended battery (if I get the extended battery)
I hope they do. I had to cut a rectangle bigger then the battery for my 3500 on the og EVO. It was ugly but worked
Are there any extended batteries available for the AT&T version yet?
The Hyperion 5000 mah battery on Amazon looks awesome, but the back cover doesn't fit the US version
Maybe u can tweak the back cover.
What moved? Is there a thread where they show the difference in rear cover between the AT&T version and the international version?
Is the battery that bulky or what? I just don't see the purpose of their bulky back cover. Seidio is coming out with their own extended battery, a little pricey but I would prefer it.

whats the biggest extended battery so far that can fit in the standard back?
Don't think there's any extended batteries that fit the OEM cover.
I took an x-acto knife and carefully modified the tabs from the amazon hyperion battery, took me 20 mins and it fits fine.
That said, it has a good feel in the hands, but it makes the phone pretty ugly.
Hi all,
Just a quick question here. I saw the Seidio 3,500 mAh and 4,000mAh extended batteries for the EVO 3D. Personally, I dislike the case that comes with the battery. Then I saw this Trexcell case for extended batteries. I was wondering if a Seidio battery would fit in a Trexcell case. Here are links to the two products:
1.Trexcell Case

2. Seidio Battery

Look at my theme with seidio battery and case.
I like my seidio extended combo case
I know there are threads about using this case with the extended battery by leaving the hard back plate off or by using a dremel to modify the back cover. I am using the hard back cover off method and find this to work very nice when compared to the Verizon Shell Holster Combo case. It actually sits nicer on a flat surface with this setup. My question to other long term users of the Defender with Extended battery is how does the rubber outer portion of the case hold up? Does it stretch out over time? It has a much more important role to play when compared to the standard battery, so I want to make sure it will hold up.
I want to remove the Defender screen protector if I decide to keep this, so any input would be appreciated. If the Defender rubber does not hold up I am going to look at the extended TPU case with Seidio Active holster.

I've been using the Defender for a while before grabbing a Kraken case. I only switched because the Kraken is easier to modify (Xacto Knives vs. Dremel) for extended batteries.
When using the Defender with the back cover off for the extended I never had any issue in the six months I've been using it. The rubber/silicon holds up well to my rather rough usage patterns.
Overall I highly recommend either case for use with the extended battery.
after time it stretches out and it is easier to take off on put on. i love my defender on my rezound.
I decided to stick with the Defender setup. Love it. Time to EBay my other cases! Would recommend the Defender with extended for the Rezound big time!

Is there a demo how to modify Kraken case for use with extended battery?

Is anybody here using the seidio innocell 4800mah extended battery? I was wondering if there is a holster that can be used with this phone installed. I couldn't find any info about it on the seidio site. i have the surface holster. i was hoping that you could use one of the seidio holsters with the battery intsalled.
There is a link on that site to their online store but the direct link is www.seidioonline.com
I'm using the 4800mah battery and case with holster. Added a little weight but to me made the phone easier to handle. I like it so far.
