Hi Team,
I have a GT-19100T which had the carriers firmware (Vodafail AU) 4.1.3 (rooted) running with no problems until recently (2 wks ago), prior to the fault I have had this phone for years no glitches great phone for its age.
I had let the battery drain, upon re-energizing the phone and attempting to turn on the wireless i noticed it just reported "Turning WI-FI on" and the toggle switch was greyed out. this would last all day. switching the phone off and on would not stop the process of the phone attempting to turn wi-fi on.
I immediately went searching forums and people suggested hardware fault or perform factory wipe through CWM.
Troubleshooting I have performed so far is:
- factory wipe and cache cleanup (not resolved)
- flashed to CM 10.1.3 (not resolved) (multiple times)
++++
OS: 4.2.2
Baseband: 1900TDULP4
kernal version: 3.0.64-cm-g9c2e2bc
++++
I have found from research that the Bluetooth and wi-fi are the same module (I maybe wrong) and Bluetooth is working fine.
So this leads me to suspect a software/firmware fault.
I'm currently downloading I9100TDVLSM_I9100TVAULSF_VAU.zip from (sam mobile) the latest release for this phone from the carrier to see if firmware will resolve the problem.
In the mean time any suggestion, advice, help or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Maybe if someone knows of a file i can flash specifically for wi-fi module that I could try.
Thanks in advance

I have same problem few weeks ago when my galaxy on Stock Rom 4.1.2.
Later, I try to reflash again through Odin, then install CWM and I flash CM 10.2 4.3 through CWM and it solved.
I think you should try to flash Newer Rom version, example CM10.2 or SlimKat.
Good luck

Thanks mate for your reply,
I installed cm 11, this did not resolve it.
need the file for the radio/modem, i'm hoping this will fix it but not sure exactly what I am looking for.
**Update***
Just finished installing I9100TDVLSM_I9100TVAULSF_VAU (latest release from Sam Mobile) 4.1.2
Still wi-fi not working.
will try and install cm 10.2 on your recommendation huytrandinh
Okay latest nightly of CM is installed cm-10.2-20131216-NIGHTLY-i9100.
Still has not resolved the wi-fi issue.
anyone have a potential solution?
there is this post for S4, but obviously only viable for S4

There is also this video tutorial which is for S4

Try to flash a modem using odin,
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Modem won't solve the issue as WiFi/BT drivers are in the kernel on the S2. OP was on the right track, but for whatever reason a clean install of stock didn't fix the problem.
Maybe try the 3 part firmware in Hopper8's Odin Troubleshooting thread, then a clean install of the Voda stock rom after that ?
There's 'WiFi fixes' (which are actually the LTE modem) for the I9505 as it actually has two separate modems, and the LTE modem also controls WiFi (which isn't the case with the S2 as per my comment above).

Have been trying that, still no success.
have spent all day trying to find a solution
I tried the modems from here:

and few other random links from the forums

Thanks Mistahbungle,
I checked out that thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2345831
Nothing i could really use.
But I did try a few other kernels:
Siyah-s2-v5.0.1
Unfortunately as soon as flashing with other kernels the screen would go black after the initial boot logo.
Only way to resolve it not booting into the OS was to roll back to:
1. GT-I9100_JB_ClockworkMod-Recovery_6.0.2.9 (flashed with odin)
2. flash CWM-SuperSU-v0.97 with CWMRecovery
3. install cm-10.2-20131216-NIGHTLY-i9100
4. then your general cleaup through cwmrecovery
I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong when trying to apply another kernel.
anyone able to offer assistance please with right kernel?
cheers
**Update**
Just found a post in that thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2345831&page=6
Will try the 3 part rom XXLSJ for GT-I9100.
Fingers crossed
Yeah, that's what I suggested in my PP. Sorry, seems the 3 part was on HotFile & Hopper didn't have his own copy up somewhere.
The rationale was - there's possibly something from a previous installation causing your issues, and flashing the 3 part would wipe your phone. I realise you've done this manually, but at this stage you're fast running out of ideas before you declare it a possible hardware issue, and it was worth a shot.
So...What I'd try is - while you have a rooted phone, go into CWRecovery and format everything/ (not EFS though obviously, or your external card if you have one), then try re-flashing whatever stock firmware you have with Odin in download mode.
Edit - Also, maybe do a Google search for that 3 part firmware (details are still on Samfirmware, just that the files are gone), you never know, you might find it somewhere.

Okay just finished testing the rom by installing it via odin (3 part)
still has not yielded any favorable results .
Little disapointed as this was a great backup phone and served for the past 12 months as a mp3 player
Guess as they say; It is all planned obsolescent which is fracked ...
Thanks for the suggestion/help anyway.
I know this is an old thread but my gs2 had this problem and I was able to fix it. Using es file explorer made my way to /data/misc/wifi pulled up the properties to wpa_supplicant.conf and changed group to wifi...then wifi finished initializing...hope this helps somebody

for consideration.
I have this phone. the GT-i9100. Had this issue also. I took it apart. The little onboard battery had blown and corrosion got all over all it.
and guess where WiFi hard is. Right Next door. I cleaned it up real good. Put it back together and WiFi came back to life.
So give it some thought guys.

So i was trying to Root my Samsung and I think i miss-understood the operations and processes.
Samsung Galaxy S2
Kernel 2.3.6
Downloaded SGH-I777-ATTGalaxyS2RootStockZedomaxKernel.tar
Installed, no problems, all good, but no wifi... freaking out.
Searched the Forum... found there was an issue.
Attempted to reload the stock kernel StockKernel-PDA.tar
Installed, no problems, back to 2.6.35.7 Gingerbread.UCKK6
But Wifi will not enable....
Kinda freaking out as Dont understand how the Zedomax and Stockkernel are 6/8mb... but the rest of the post are talking about a 200/300mb file which needs to be downloaded...
Just looking for help on how to get back WiFi?...
read thru: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1286432
...If you bootloop or things behave wacky, enter 3e recovery (stock kernel means stock recovery) and do a Wipe Data/Factory Reset. If you are reverting from UCKK6 back to UCKH7 you MUST perform this step or wifi will not work.
I Did not go from UCKK6 to UCKH7... i don't think?? So any help on what i need to do would be awesome!
AT&T is the carrier.
Also without having to 100% wipe and re-install.
You need to find the "Return to stock" thread and go from there.
Zedo's kernel is ancient, it will not provide wifi with UCKK6 system images.
Only my kernel, the UCKK6 stock kernel, and (maybe, not sure) SiyahKernel will provide wifi with UCKK6.
Kernels are <8 MB. 300MB = full kernel and system image restore.
My guess is you flashed a UCKH7 stock kernel.
Found a return to stock thread and it mentions a RUU_Ace_Cingular_US_1.80.502.3_Radio_12.39.60.19_2 6.06.04.06_M_release_166557_signed.exe as well as a pd98img.zip which are also both 290MB...
Found another thread for Official i9100 Firmwares KG, KH, KI, KJ, KK1/2/5, KL1/2/3, LA2 Download but none are for USA/AT&T.
There are a LOT of thread on this and i have been reading thru as many as i can...
If the Stock Kernel or Entropy512 Stock kernel File name or description can be posted i can do the update thru odin...
On the Zedomax, i saw that after i flashed... never blindly trust youtube =(

Of the items you mentioned, NONE are for this device.
I suggest searching a bit more methodically - look in this forum subsection, and look at the sticky threads in the General and Development forums. Threads are made sticky for a reason.

SHOstock2 v1.3 works well with WiFi if you want a custom ROM (ICS).
I was using UnNamed v2.2.1 and it was very stable, but I wanted to try Ics, so I'm now using the AOKP 4.0.4 but I'm having issues with the Gps, still doing some tests, if I dont find any, then I'll move to SHOstock2 v1.3

Sounds like it could be hardware failure. To test that, flash back to straight stock followed by a wipe data/factory reset from 3e recovery. If the problem persists, then it is either a problem with your phone hardware, or a problem with the available wifi router signal. You can test the latter by trying to connect on different routers.

I dont want to belive that my hardware is broken.
But i flashed again my SGH-I777, and the problem persists.
My wifi just says "Turning on" when I push button, and it never boosts again.
I changed the kernel and the rom. I restored to old factory settings, and nothing works.
I would like to get back my wifi.
i appreciate your opinions about this issue.
WIFI suddenly stopped
My WIFI also suddenly stopped working
on 7-1-13 I installed aokp_i777_ota-eng-task650_6.24.2013 worked for a month
Yesterday the WIFI stopped connecting. Got a constant "Turning on Wi-Fi" message but nothing else
I installed aokp_JB_i777-ota-eng.task650-ktoonsez-11.20.2012 which I had been running for the last 6 months
Same problem
I did a full wipe. Wiped cache, data, dalvik. Did a fresh install, then wiped cache, dalvik and fix permissions.
Same
a i9100 thread linked a video of a leaking battery inside that disabled wifi
took phone apart, no obvious signs of hardware failure (have pics)
used odin3 v1.85 with ATTGalaxyS2Unroot_SGH-i777.tar to unroot
wifi will turn on scan for a minute then turn off -- will not find any AP
router working fine with my other i777
anything i missed?

hey brother, first of all, your wifi is not damage fisically. But you are in the same situation that i was.
my SGH-I777 is working very well after too much work with it.
i gave my cellphone to my little brother, and two days later he told that the wifi was working fine.
i made this face O_O i couldnt believe what he was saying.
right now i dont know, how he resolved the problem, the only things that he did was change the OS i guess.
i will call him tomorrow to ask about the solutions, but man, dont worry too much coz you just like my brother, will resolve the problem
It is not hardware...
found another thread that suggests FXR WiFi fixer app from play store.
Ran it on the the AOKP JB 4.1.2 from 11.20.20102
seemed to solve issue -- connected to wifi but lost connection after ~30 min
same issue -- constant "Turning WiFi on" message.
ran FXR again -- connects temporarily then loses connectivity
same thing every time i run FXR
should i use a different ROM?
which one?
any help is GREATLY appreciated
Thanks

You could ask in the AOKP thread if there are others experiencing wifi issues with that rom. If not, a fresh install of the rom may solve the issue. It definitely sounds like a firmware issue, but when there is any question whether the issue is firmware or hardware, the test is to flash back to stock and see how it works. As far as which firmware to use, there are a number of different firmware that are completely stable. You should read through the developer threads, and then try them out to see how you like them.
Hi Guys,
I've run into a bit of a problem and cannot find my way around it, my phone can be used for everything except making a damn phone call i.e. I can make calls, folks can see me calling and receive it but I hear a blank on my end and so does the receiver, no dialogue. I tried everything listed on other topics but cant seem to get phone calls working again....so please help....
I know exactly when this started happening so here's the details
I was running the Foxhound 3.0 ROM listed in the following thread and it was running perfect
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1486199
then I found a new ICS theme posted on the following thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1334922
and tried flashing that according to every step mentioned and although the ROM was running ok, I couldnt access system settings because my only option available was NOVA settings, my back button, phone calls & wifi wasnt working.
I looked into some of threads posted on the forum listed below and tried out every step to fix the problem but to no avail.

List of methods attempted
1. Restore mirror from my stock rooted ROM - fixed wifi but no phone calls
2. Restore mirror from ICSrewd ROM - same result
3. Used ODIN to go back to Unrooted Stock - still no phone calls
Kernel + non-rooted UCKH7 system package
4. Used ODIN to flash a different Kernel with root - same result
Kernel + cache + rooted UCKK6 system package
5. Full wipe and reflashed ICSrewd - same result.
Now i have so much info cluttered in head that I'm experiencing what people call 'writer's block' or what I would call 'Brain Dissolution' :-(
Can anyone please suggest a solution for this? My current phone deets are as follows
- At&t Samsung Galaxy SGH i777
- Android 2.3.6 Baseband i9100XXLPH
- Siyah v2.6.7
- Build ICSrewd v2.0.1 KL1

You got an i9100 modem on your device from something you flashed (probably the theme package from the i9100 forums - but I didn't d/l it to look) as evidenced by your baseband reporting i9100XXLPH.
Though I think some of the packages you have tried flashing to fix it have modems, I would go to the appropriate modems thread (I think they are linked from the sticky in general) and grab whichever i777 modem you were running before and flash that...

ICScrewD should have given you the UCKH7 modem. Not sure why it didn't overwrite your i9100 modem. As I haven't been in this situation to have to get out of it, there may be more to it. My first step would be trying to flash just the correct modem package over what you currently have...other than that, others have been in this situation - search is your friend.

So I went back to the Stock ROM and re-tried it and guess what....success!! ......which is weird, I'm not sure if it is an issue with ICSrewd new version 2.0.1...anyhow...now I'm experiencing ridiculous battery drain, so should I try various modem combinations to see which one works?

After all that flashing, you'll probably see heavy battery drain for a few days. I usually have to go 3 battery cycles full to empty (which is 3 days for me) before I see stable battery behavior after flashing new roms.

I should've read this earlier
What I did instead was flash the turkbey ROM and went thru 2 cycles with it already so now I'm seeing some level of stability i.e. 19 hrs of battery time approx with about 5 hrs of Screen On time, which is pretty decent I guess.
Thanks for advice mate.
Hey there!
Before anyone asks, I have done the following.
Searched on google/XDA for solutions
Flashed different ROM's
Changed Kernels
Wiped all cache
Did factory Reset
I am currently having bad network problems with my phone.
I am running JellyBam 6.7.0 with default kernel.
Baseband: XXLQ6
Problem
I constently get No Service or "Emergency Calls only" in areas that I've never had emergency calls in. I am not aware of my old modem or RIL, and so am completely lost of what to go from here as I haven't found posts that could help my issue.
When I reboot my phone, turn airplane mode on, or just randomly it will go into the stage above, to where it will stay without signal for 10 minutes up to days (I've had it go for 2 days with no signal). When I try to search for networks (In places where there is 100% a network) it will say "error searching for network".
I have no idea what to do, and am rather scared. There have been 2 emergency situations to where I needed a phone, and yet mine had no signal.
My second question, is if I manage to get it back to stock ICS (4.0.4) and do all the updates through KIES, will I get the original modem + RIL back as well as the ROM? Or will I still need to flash that myself.
TLDR: If I reset it back completely to stock ICS, will everything that I have done (root, flash modems, flash kernels etc...) be erased.
Thanks so much for reading, I've got so much stress rigt now.
Are you getting no service all the time or only intermittently ? Also, check your IMEI in settings/about phone to see if it's the generic one (0049.....), whatever you do tho don't post your actual IMEI here. Just a yes/know answer to the 'is it the generic one' question will do.
If it's a constant thing, call your carrier to check if it's been IMEI blocked. If it's intermittent, flash a stock ICS rom as you'd suggested. You'll end up with whatever modem/baseband is attached to the rom you flash, and yes, you'll lose root & the kernel you're currently running will be replaced by the stock kernel in the rom you flash.

Yes it's only intermittent, so not a problem with the IMEI.
So if I find, and download stock ICS to bring it to factory it should be fine? If I were to, let's say, flash the ICS onto the phone, is there any way to keep the RIL+ Baseband and flash back JB? Or when flashing JB, will it replace whatever RIL+Baseband is attached with the ROM.
Also, thanks for the quick reply. I was expecting days for a response.
Forget about JB/custom roms/anything else until or unless you get your phone working normally again. Flash an ICS stock rom for your region.
And forget about the current RIL/baseband. It sounds like it may well be the cause of the problems you're having; quite possible if you've been mucking around with different RIL's in particular. Pretty sure I said in my PP that you'll end up with whatever baseband is lumped in with the stock rom you flash.
Actually, you might want to stick with a stock rom specific to your carrier if there is one, at least that way you know the modem/baseband will more than likely have been tested by your carrier & is likely to work well with it unless there are other issues (carrier side connectivity issues or other problems with your phone).
As to whether doing this will fix your issues, no idea. At the moment, and in the absence of any clue as to what's causing your issues, it's the best option you've got. If it doesn't fix the problems, then it's probably a carrier-side issue (possible given it only happens at certain times/in certain locations) or a physical problem with the phone (less likely).

Thanks.
I'm having problems to what official ROM to use from the list.
The only one on the list is Optus, but my phone is with virgin (on the optus network) should that be fine?
The rom is I9100XWLP8
Once again many thanks! I'll update you with the progress.
Yep. Flash the Optus rom given you're effectively using their network & see what happens.

Just downloaded it (Hotfile takes forever) and flashed through odin.
Worked fine after a factory reset. However, Kies won't update my phone.
Network seems to running smooth, so we'll see how it goes. The more things I do, I guess the more things I can rule out.
EDIT:
I updated the phone, and I get the message "Unfortunately, Application installer has stopped". What am I supposed to do?

That didn't work.
Anyhow, I managed to track down a 4.0.4 variant of the ROM I was using, and made sure the CSC, PDA and Baseband all matched up with what Kies wanted, and flashed it. I think the error occured I was trying to update a ROM with the wrong CSC and Baseband to one with the correct ones and Kies didn't like that.
I run CM 10.1 on my phone, which had original specs: PDA:KG3 / PHONE:KE7 / CSC:KG1 (VNZ). I've been running those CM nightlies since about November 2012 with few problems, updating to new nightlies every few weeks to a month. I'd never flashed new radios - just the CM rom.
Starting a couple of months ago, I began to see a problem where my phone would drop cell service (no bars + empty triangle in the cell signal indicator) and rebooting was the only way to bring the cell signal back. This happened every couple of days, so was bearable. I figured something in the nightlies had caused a weird problem and that the CM devs/community would find and fix this.
After flashing a nightly last week, my phone wouldn't hold cell signal for more than an hour - sometimes not even that. Reboots fixed this but never permanently. I started to read about radios, modems, and RILs. hawkerpaul's post here was a great help. I found that my phone had the original KE7 radio but had a RIL of I9100XXLS8(2) - I presume from the CM rom? I flashed some new radios and have now gone through a series of the (matched) modem + RIL files in hawkerpaul's post above. In most cases I see the following behaviour:
Phone successfully finds network (Vodafone NZ) on boot
Trying to manually select a mobile operator fails (error when searching for networks)
Unable to successfully call out! Dialling stalls, and I can't hang up - only fixed by a reboot
How do I fix this immediate problem of not being able to call/receive calls? Seems like maybe I'm using a radio that doesn't work with Vodafone NZ - but I haven't seen any posts on what DOES work well with that network. I have the modem file to flash the original KE7 back again, but what should I do about the RIL file then? Not sure I have found an RIL for KE7 yet in my travels. Any help would be appreciated - and thanks!
To help me figure out where I went wrong, do the CM builds include the RIL, or is that something that could only get updated somewhere else? I know the rom doesn't change the modem but I suspect that XXLS8(2) RIL had to come from CM.
1) Don't mess with RIL's (You'll make it 'worse').
2) Check stock roms released by your telco. Find out which modems were bundled with those stock roms. Try those modems. If they don't help, look for stock roms released by other carriers which sold the the I9100T world-wide (check Samfirmware). Try the modems bundled with these roms. If they don't help, try any & every modem you can get your hands on.
If you've already flashed RIL's, you may well have created a bigger problem for yourself. You might want to do a clean install of stock as well for good measure if that's the case. The reason I stopped using CM9 (and never bothered with CM10) was similar issues that seem to have gotten introduced with a particular nightly & never went away (a fix was tried which benefited a very few problems who were having RIL problems but created problems for even more people who previously had no problems).

I'm just about at this point. If I reinstall stock, will that reset my modem as well?
Thanks for the help - looks like I did definitely make things worse.
You'll end up with whatever modem is bundled with the stock rom, so probably use the most recent released by your carrier, then you can try other modems released by your carrier as per my PP. The rationale with that is you'd hope your carrier has tested the modems they bundle with their stock roms so they work in most places/at most times with their network. Doing a clean install of stock should fix anything funky messing around with RIL's may have done as well.
If you get no joy from those, proceed as per my PP (You might get other suggestions from other people as well).
Thanks for the help. I was able to flash the latest stock rom, which included baseband I9100XXLS8. This worked fine for making and receiving calls. I lasted a couple of hours with that stock Samsung firmware before I started to get itchy for Android 4.2 again, so I've now rooted and am going to try CM10 again, but at least this time I know not to touch the modem - and I'm confident I can get back to stock again if I have any problems! Many thanks!
Glad you've got connectivity back You can flash modems as much as you want, I'd just be wary of messing with RIL's unless it's as an absolute last resort (I.E you have no connectivity & you've tried every single modem. Too many people try them when their connectivity is fine in the mistaken belief they're going to get 8Mbps instead of 7.8Mbps downloads, I.E it wasn't broke in the first place), even then a clean install of stock & choosing the right modem will often fix the problems.
You're welcome Any dramas post to this thread again & I'm sure someone will help.

Hi and thanks in advance. I have a galaxy i9100 which shows the following information: PDA: i9100xwlsd - Phone i9100xxls8 - Csc i9100vnzls9. I installed via odin Android version 4.1.2 which made the phone work really well except that it kept dropping network service and signal strength. I replaced the sim which did seem to help but did not fix the problem totally. I also notice that the GPS will not find any satellites and just keeps searching for as long as I would let it. I have read various threads and it appears that this may be a modem problem? I have found that Vodafone NZ has released a modem which is i9100xxls9? Should I flash the modem file only in Odin and do you really think this would fix the problem. How would I flash the modem file. Would I do this through odin? Any help gratefully received.
Yes, first step is definitely to flash the modem which was released by your carrier for your region. If you can find a file which is Odin flashable then yes, try it. However most of the files are for flashing via CWM. Are you rooted? If not they won't work for you, in which case you'll have to search around for an Odin flashable version of LS9.
Just to check, you do have an i9100? Not an i9100t etc? Some variants require different modems.

Thanks for the response. How do I know if a file is odin flashable? How do you flash via cwm (whatever that is). You can see I am a little bit or a lot of a novice on this. The unfortunate thing is I enjoy it. I think the phone is rooted and it says the phone is: Model GT- i9100. The phone was purchased in UAE and I have flashed the android 4.1.2 which was a vodafone NZ system. Everything works fine except the GPS and the phone signal drops out all the time showing no service when there is service? Thanks again for your help on this. I have just found that the phone may not be rooted? I tried to install root manager but it indicated phone was not rooted?
Ok so no offence, you need to do a lot of reading for yourself. Reading is the key to successful (ie without bricking) modification of your phone.
For a start, if you've flashed stock then of course you will not have root. You don't need to have root to flash a modem. Have a look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1656005
I'm not saying to flash that modem file. But that's how you do it, now you just need to find your file and flash it.

Hi,
Firstly thanks for time and sorry if this is a noob question but I only have a fairly small amount of experience regarding custom roms.
Here goes...
I have changed the rom on my phone about 5 times over the last couple of years and never had a problem. I have the latest version of teamwin and I'm currently running Android Revolution HD 50.0 by mike1986. This rom works great as have all the other I have used in the past ie Cyanogenmod, Omega etc but the problem I am having is over the last 4 months I am completely losing network and even if I try to search for a mobile operator my phone can't find any unless I run a full power cycle.
I have been reading as much online mainly xda-developers to find a solution to this problem but I'm afraid I'm now just running into a brick wall. I understand this could just be a hardware fault but I have read somewhere that I may have the wrong modem installed for my phone.
How likely is this? Can having the wrong modem cause intermittent problems? Also if this is the case where the I find a tutorial on correcting this issue. Plus which modem should I be using in the UK?
Again thanks for you time and any help would be much appreciated.
Mike
Do a full wipe and flash the latest stock firmware for your country, then factory reset.
Test fully before you install or restore anything. If it is still the same then probably hardware.

ok, Will do. I am just waiting for the UK stock firmware to download. I left it downloading while I was out this afternoon and for some reason it failed and now is asking me to wait an hour before retrying
I'll let you know if this solves my problem.
Thanks
ok..
I managed to get hold of the stock firmware from another site. I first installed a version of ICS so I could run triangle away properly after rooting with CF auto root as without doing this I couldn't reset my binary counter even after flashing stock recovery. Then I installed the latest version of JB and ran the official Samsung update to get my phone up to the very latest Official software with device status official.
So now my phone is completely back to if it just came out of the box. I finished late last night and installed nothing but WhatsApp. Then at about 3pm today again I completely lost network and couldn't restore in without a full power cycle. Even searching for Network operators in settings couldn't restore the connection. I can't think of anything else to try.
Any ideas what to try next please?
P.S. The firmware I installed is as far as I can tell for my location. I'm in the U.K. and I'm using the stock BTU version on baseband version I9300XXUGMK6
the same i9300 problem

This is exactly the issue I have now - I can get some signal, but can't get anything in terms of using 3G/Mobile data :/
