I want to buy QUE TBQ7850 tablet which isn't popular, at least outside of Israel.
I want to install clean AOSP on it. (I has Android 4.2 pre-installed on it.)
Is that possible? If yes, please explain how.
It features a "All Winner A31s + Cortex A7 Quad-Core 1.0GHz CPU".

It's not that straight forward. There isn't even a QUE section here, so you probably won't find any root instructions for it here. Your best bet will be an Isreali smartphone forum where more people might have it. Even then it's not guaranteed that it has been rooted.

my que tbq9701 root is not up and factory reset is deleted...... so i need to find one and to put in in the sd card .....
do you have one back up of root ?

Seems it work with the new 4.0.5 rooted version.

Hi guys,
I've been searching the forums for days and nothing, so I would like some feedback please.
I was bought a Sanei N10 dual core I believe 10.1 ips, hdmi out, 16gb, 1gb ram. etc
It runs a little slow at times so I thought to Root it and install custom ROM.
Now. Am I right in thinking that this tablet should have an Alwinner A10 processor?
Mine is actually an armv7 processor rev 2 (v7l).
So Im wondering is my tablet a clone, and not an actual N10? Box is branded as is the tablet.
I managed to root it anyway, using the Tasselhof script.
I cant install CWM as it says a version doesnt exist for my device, and I dont know which roms I can actually use ??
Can anyone enlighten me please as im goin a bit nuts here.

Hi guys, first of all I'd like to apologise if I'm posting in the wrong section. I bought a tablet from a Greek store called plaisio. This store is known to buy tablets from the Asian market (China I believe), rename them and sell them in decent prices regarding their specs. The model I bought is called TurboX (name of the brand) Hive V (4 cores, 1gb RAM, 16gb internal storage, android 4.4.2).
I managed to successfully root my phone and make some changes (install Google play etc.) but I'm afraid that it's not enough. I'm looking for a custom ROM but I can't find anything for my device. Is it possible that my device matches any of the known devices and therefore be able to flash custom ROM? Or should I give it a try, building/porting a ROM such as cyanogenmod especially for my device? Another thought of mine is trying to port and install "Linux touch" which I really want to give a try at some point.
Please feel free to share any thoughts/help/info of yours!

If you haven't turned that tablet into a sous-plat yet, search for Cube Talk 9X [U65GT]. There are roms, recoveries and root guides available. I think it was in freaktab forums, but I can't post a link.

My question here is, what recovery and rom are available for this box? Searching on XDA or other search engines only brought me to https://forum.xda-developers.com/android-stick--console-computers/amlogic/recovery-twrp-3-0-2-0-touch-recovery-t3454549/post69826769#post69826769 which states that it doesn't work.
Also am I right in my understanding that all M96X boxes like this one, this one and maybe even this one which is not advertised as an M96X are really the exact same hardware? If so, will there be any difference in software?

I take avantage of this thread to also ask if the M96x (like this one on ali expresss M96X-Android-6-0-Smart-TV-Box-2G-8G-Amlogic-S905X-Quad-Core-Kodi-16-1 )
can also support an android tv rom?
I think the hardware could support it (at least performance wise)
