Hello everybody. I am a new convert from an iphone, had all the iphones upto #5, jaibroke all of them and basically messed around as much as I could.
I switched to an HTC One verizon version, and love everything about android.
I am S-off and rooted, I have NuSense One max 7.3 (JB 4.3 w/sense) installed its an amazing ROM, I just wanted a little more functionality so I installed OBOne KernOB 4.2.2/4.3 [3.4.10][SenseJB].
Everything functions perfectly fine but the phone mic and speaker do not work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I have tried posting at on the developer forum, but cant since I am new. I have reinstalled the kernel specific to Nusense and everything works as it should.
Is there a way to install the custom Kernel and fix sound.
If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

I'm getting root access denied after clean install of miui. I'm running siyah kernel and dual booted with cm9. I'm running miui as primary. I've set up su and cwm. Ex tweaks is working fine. I've wiped and reinstalled everything. I've set root permissions on. I've done everything I can see to do. The ROM it self its running smooth. Wondering if any one else has experienced root access denied on this ROM? Is there a way to fix this? Or is it just to be accepted? Thanks in advance. And btw, this site rocks!
In my situation, if I find any issues with a custom rom that I am testing, I change that ROM with other stable ROM. I think there are some issues with Root. Try find other ROM, I suggest no is the F1 Galaxy Nexus, very stable...
Thanks for replying. I am constantly looking for sleek new roms so I appreciate the referral to the f1. I really like the miui ROM and am sure SOMEBODY has a solution? Its not a big deal tho. Since the siyah kernel has overclocking I can use ex tweaks to modify. I had never heard of the f1 ROM do you happen to have a link to all custom roms? Also do you know if f1 works with branded sgs2?

figured it out
Soooo... obviously a noob. What i did was downloaded all the attachments that were included in the asnet first page and installed them ass... uming that they were supposed to be included. The permissions attachment was obviously for a prior dated rom. I did a fresh wipe and install using only the rom and now its working beautifully!! Ive done so much reading on this site!! Ive soft bricked my phone at least 3 times, have a 28 count on my binary, and have successfully dual booted with the roms i like. i wish i could go back and thank everyone for all of thier hard work. I have spent countless hours just setting this up and reading lol! So i know how much time it takes. This forum kicks [email protected]#
Hi,
I am new to rooting phones and want some help. I have been reading about Team Viper ViperS 1.0.1 and wanted to know if it is a good ROM.
I have Android Revolution ROM on my Sensation at the moment but it feels sluggish and slow at times although it has been a great ROM.
Anyone know what the Viper ROM is like and easy to install?
Hi Everyone,
Am in a bit difficulty here. I upgraded my tablet to the Briitish ICS release over the weekend. Everything works great except the error message I get when I try to run the Voodoo Volume Program. I have the purchased version as well and it tells me that I am missing a module.
After some research I decided to try another Kernel and tried one of Pershoot's. The Voodoo worked but the WIFi does not work.
I am not sure which Kernel I need to get both WiFi and Voodoo working. Any help would be appreciated.
I am running the kernel that came with the update. I believe the number is 3.1,.01 and ICS is 4.04
Thanks for any suggestions.
Regards,
Ten
I recently installed Android Revolution HD on my One and it's great, but none of the mods in the Sense 5 Toolbox are working. I've re-flashed, and even went so far as to re-install the xposed framework, and toolbox seperately with their respective .apk's but to no avail. the Rom is working fine otherwise. I flashed with TWRP, coming from stock. Trust me, I've googled and googled and searched the forums but can find no one with problems anyone can help? thanks in advance...
By the way this is my first post here, but I've had huge success solving problems thanks to the helpful community here, thanks to all you guys who know more than me
Never mind, I fingered it out. Didn't have the toolbox enabled in Xposed installer, oops
Hello
I recently got an older SIII off my sister and promptly installed CM13, aiming to make it my dedicated music phone (since my SIV LTE-A has no working FM radio), but it turns out CM roms don't support APT-X.
Thus, I'm asking for advice regarding what rom to install. Will I have to go back to android 4.3, since this was the last official version for SIII, or are there some 4.4.4 or 5.X or 6.X roms that do support that codec? From what I know, BlueZ version 5+ supports APT-X, but, as far as I know, CM uses Bluedroid.
If I have no choice but to use a stock SIII 4.3-based rom, could you suggest the best one to go for?

Thanks, gonna try that one instead of the 4.3 neat rom I installed. If Apt-X works with that one, it'll be perfect.
Edit: installed it, works fine so far, Apt-X is working, much snappier than the 4.3 neat rom, thanks!
