Developer edition is different then the normal AT&T HTC One. The AT&T version is expected to receive 4.4 sometime towards the end of january 2014.

From what I have read there is not 1 for our phones yet, but HTC just released 1 for the Developer Edition only.
nope
wouldnt mind doing a fresh RUU install either
So how are RUUs acquired?
People in the HTC developer program used to have access to them and leak them to us. But lately htc has been cracking down on that.

Hi guys, I have T-Mobile version. So, I have unlocked, S-OFF, changed to CID to 111111 and installed custom recovery. So now, am I able to have official firmware and software updates from T-Mobile or should I install Developer RUU from HTC? If I want to install Developer Edition RUU, which one should I choose? I have checked HTC website and I am lost .
Thank you!

if you want to install the RUU and make ur tmobile one a dev edition you should install it from here http://www.htcdev.com/devcenter/downloads
should be the very top/first link on the list.
t-mobile havent released the RUU for their htc one variant yet... making very difficult for those who flashed a custom recovery and now want to go back to its original state and be able to instal ota updates again.
make sure ur CID have 11111111 (eight ones!!) before installing

Thanks for answer. I have a one more question though. What are the advantages and disadvantages of installing Dev RUU? When I install Dev RUU, am I going to able get official software and firmware updates directly from HTC instead of T-Mobile?

I have final question . When I install Dev RUU, do I need to flash Radio seperately for T-Mobile or it is inside of RUU? If yes, how can I flash Radio?
Thank you very much!

No need to install radio

i think if you install dev ruu and changed your cid to the dev version you might be able to get otas directly from htc

even if it did it would still work. im on tmo with the leaked 4.2 radio and it works fine
tmobile dev edition wont install ota..but it can check and find it?
i have the t-mobile htc one that i hcnaged to the dev edition. there was an ota update today (1.29.1540.17) and when it tried to install, it said that I am running a modified version of the system and to protect my phone, that it cannot update it.
i am not running anything modified... my phone is unlocked and s-off but nothing more...not rooted...no custom recovery...nada....... do i need to make it s-on or something ?
I was trying to S-OFF my HTC One using moonshine's method but could not get it to work properly.
As you will see from the screen shot (attached), its stuck there and doesn't go further.
I have gone over the guide multiple times. Fast boot is unchecked , USB debugging is checked, ADB and fastboot drivers are working.
I am currently using a T-Mobile version HTC one with the following software information:
Android Version: 4.1.2
HTC Sense version: 5.0
Software Number: 1.27.531.11
HTC SDK API Level: 5.12
Baseband version: 4A.17.3250.20_10.40.1150.04L
Can somebody here guide me what I am doing wrong or missed out something ?
You can't s-off. If you want to know more just use the search function or Google. This has been discussed many times in many threads.
Soff was patched when u took the new 1.27.531.11 update

Pretty sure u need soff to do super cid
Or anything further than just unlock and root.
You may be able to flash the older 1.27.531.8 Rom and then try it since the bootloiader wasn't updated.
If your on 1.27.531.11 you have to downgrade with a Rom or ruu
Don't quote me but I think people have don'e this to get soff

eventually there will be a way of getting s-off on 1.27.531.11 ? my head is spinning right now by looking at all the roms, been a while since i did that stuff.
can anybody help me downgrade my phone to 1.27.531.8 with an RUU or rom... I cant find any links that will enable me to do so
Hiya, I've tried everything. Literally, everything i could find on this site and a few others around the web,Everytime i'd try to get my rom pushed onto my sdcard, (internal HD) I would get the no device found error. Everytime i try to get my sdcard mounted, theres no option for me to do so, I'm fairly new to all this and I was desperately hoping to get my 4.2.2 JB update, though i lost the AT&T Software Update option in settings,..Thats the reason why i went for a ROM on xda forums..Up til now it feels like ive had no luck in finding the only options i needed to get through my quest...
Oh if this helps, i was running 4.1.1 and sense 4+ on my HOX+.I have s-on? if anything else is needed regarding my software please ask!.
If anyone could help it would be more than appreciated. Thanks.

What my error was. (im pretty certain) was that i hadn't flashed the boot.img before flashing the rom, which may have made the other boot image not kick in.. I really dont know actually,..

Google how to sideload a rom. If that doesn't happen then download the latest ruu from HTC for AT&T and put your phone in bootloader and run it. Also make sure bootloader it's locked or relocked.
