[Show Off] Extended Battery 3600 mAh for HTC Touch Pro2 T7380 - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Accessories

Finally my Extended Battery has arrive for my Rhodium with 3600 mAh from Chinese. Before with 1500 mAh from original battery wouldn't be never enough to play all the HD games, musics, videos, taking a picture from camera, turn on GPS, surfing internet, chatting, modem, switch on between WinMo to Android or Ubuntu, and switch to between GSM on CDMA network features whenever i needed anytime & anywhere.
I guess WinMo without Extended Battery is like taking a battle in The King Of Fighters on arcade games with no power at all. So, do you already have more extra power on your WinMo?
Big thanks to my best friend Djoko Sektiono for his masterpiece of handmade work to fit press Extended Back Cover mods from HTC Touch Pro2 GSM converted to HTC Touch Pro2 CDMA (Rhodium). Thanks a lots for your big help bro and now i'm ready to rock on my Rhodium... \m/
1500 x 2 + 600 = 3600
Double mAh with 600 mAh more extra power....... :good:
Anyone knows why my battery right now with 3600 mAh still never drain in this 3 days with no charging yet at all? Any less? So let's rock n' roll on WinMo with more extra power... :victory:

High Capacity Battery for PDA2K

I have been searching for a spare battery for my new PDA2K. The standard battery capacity for PDA2K is 1500 mAmps. While I was searching - found 2200 mAmps being the same size as standard.
http://www.imatephonestore.com/selectItem.asp?itemMDL=PDA2KXBATT& plan=NO
Of course I'd rather have higher capacity one (almost 130% the charge) but I am reluctant to buy this one because it is "not standard" and I didn't see any reviews / recommendations neither on i-mate website nor anywhere else.
Did anyone try this or similar product? Should I go for "extended capacity" one? Thnx.
You can go for 3500 +
Bought my 2400 from here http://www.lionbattery.com and they have an 3500 as well. 2400 works like a charm only Batt Pro can't handle the 4 hrs + but who care's
Thanks, javar. Although 3500 seems as a dream come true I will go with a 2400 one because 3500 will not fit into the case that I have for my device. 2400 seems to be of the standard size -- it is just a little bit thicker along the whole length of the device which is okay with me. I actually thin that the original PDA2K should have sported the same approach to increase the battery life. Thanks a lot for the link again!
The 2400 last 10+ hours of heavy usage (bluetooth+CoPilot continuously running in the background, GPRS+web browsing, some phone)... With the standard battery, I usually have to switch battery around after lunch. With this battery, my battery level is around 20% when I'm ready to go to bed around midnight.
>>>> However, this darn battery won't charge in the spare battery cradle. It has to be plugged into your PPC... <<<< forgot to plug in the power cable!!!
This is strange. I have been talking to the guys at lionbattery.com and they told me that it charges perfectly fine from the cradle. Anyway, I have already made an order and will wait for my battery to come and test it in the cradle. I will keep you guys posted...
I have the 2400 and it does charge. You have to force it a little to get it in thats all.
I have 2400 as well, and can confirm that it charges from craddle.
Dears,
Thanks for choosing Mugen Power as your after market battery, we will do a lot of test before we release our battery.
I have used the 2400 va battery from www.lionbattery.com:
Item No.: HLI-XDA2SSL
Description: 2400mAh BATTERY (v.3) - PDA2K, XDA IIs, MDA III, 9090, XV6600, SX66 & more
Did 3-4 cycles already - excellent capacity, didn't reset my device, charges from cradle ok. I guess this v.3 really fixed the bugs and issues others had with the battery.
So far I am happy with it.
its look very expesive 72 us dollar
its look very expensive
does anyone know if the 2400 battery will fit into the BRANDO hardcase?? I really like this case a lot, but desire an extended battery. Thanks

If you decide to go with the 1350MAH battery please let us know you're thoughts regarding both performance and vendor.
Thank you
I got a 1250mAH battery for my MDA Vario from http://stores.ebay.co.uk/SINO-WORLD about a week ago (search for "Wizard"). They delivered it in about a week. It seems to have around about the same capacity as the original battery.
It came to $24.88 including delivery to the UK but I used a Paypal voucher that reduced this by 10% so it ended up about £13. They gave me this link to the battery manufacturer's WWW site
found this site the other day, may try the 2500ma one.

Does that battery (the 2500mAh) have the same dimensions and pins as the Wizard battery, though?
it doesnt:
PLEASE NOTE THIS BATTERY INCREASES THE THICKNESS OF THE XDA . REPLACEMENT BACK COVER IS INCLUDED

and...its for the Magician
This one is for the Wizard:

hmm.. almost double the life - might be worth the extra thickness. Now if only the showed some proper pictures of the actual thing in a wizard + new back cover :|

1-AA battery recharger. They didn't post any info on just how much it's able to recharge, but it's enough if you're in a bind and should fit easily in a lot of the pocketpc cases
just ordered the 2200mah one from here
http://www.gpsforless.co.uk/product_details.php?id=2971
will let you know how it is particularly how thick and how long it lasts. only 25 pounds could be a bargain
http://www.lionbattery.com/description.php?noproduit=332
mega beefy and over twice the capacity of the standard - but out of stock.
a second battery in my wallet seems a better bet
Still waiting on some reviews on how the extra thickness and battery life is like :?
Sorry for the delay in pics guys but also wanted to test battery and try with different cases. The battery is bigger than expected but not as big or thick as mugen 2600 mah. the cover seems a bit larger than it should be - it may be possible to trim it but have not tried.
Found that with battery in and leather case on - no battery cover, things not so bad and only slight bulge at back. With cover supplied I wouldn't show my phone in public lol
here are my battery tests
Wizard battery
Standard 1250 Mah
25% loss 2.5 hours browsing
60% loss 5 hours browsing plus some game, radio, omap 240 15 mins
Extended 2200 Mah (75% more Mah)
20% loss over 2.5 hours browsing
40% loss 5 hours browsing plus some game, music, omap 240 15 mins
44% loss 7 hours browsing reconfig ppc
46% loss 8 hours browsing reconfig ppc.
60% loss 9.5 hours browsing (nearly double standard battery)!
80% loss 11.5 hours browsing
90% loss 12 hours browsing
All browsing was continuous and on GPRS.
Fairly impressive I thought for a 25 pounds sterling battery!
here are the pics - taken with my spv c500 so apologize for quality
The case btw is a modified krussell case meant for Magician but works for Wizard.
In short then decided to keep the battery - I wish it was slimmer but no other available extended batteries in the uk I can find and at the price can't comlain
see pics here http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=43510
external battery charger
has any one come across a external battery charger for the HTC wizard t-mobile T-Mobile MDA Vario
I'd like to see some Li-poly battery alternatives. Has a higher energy to volume ratio so you could pack more juice into the standard battery size, plus its lighter.

Yes see here http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=127197&partner=froogle
Dont know which country you are from, but expansys are good and are in us too.
meschle - I think they meant a charger for a spare battery. Kinda like how some of the cradles for other devices have another slot to charge a 2nd battery.

Battery HTC StarTrek

For those at whom quickly to sit down the standard battery
http://www.lionbattery.com/description.php?noproduit=482
Here such battery 1900mAh for HTC Startrek will allow to work longer!
Wow. Does anyone have it? It sounds too good to be true for me. (I had some extra-capacity batteries from China or so and they were worse than original batteries. They were not for Qtek but for different device...)
Mugen batteries are generally reliable.
Sorry, clicked twice on slow connection.
Well... Finaly I have bought this 1900 mAh battery. I do not have it long but after one busy day I can say that this battery is really good one.
If I use the original 750 mAh battery, it would already has no power. But the new one is still above 50%. Well, I have traveled some hours by trains, read many news in rss reader, watch news in WMP, browse web (about 1-2 hours ), every 15 minutes checking for new emails, some IM... And the battery is still on. 56 %
The only disadvantage is the thickness. It adds 6 mm (0.236 inch) extra to Qtek.
Hey moneytoo, care to share some more expreriences? Is battery life much better, still after a month of use?
Thanks.
In week days when I use much internet connection the battery is enough for whole 2 days (no night turning off). Or the battery last for the whole weekend plus one week day = 3 whole days. Well - busy day = -50% battery life, normal use = -25% of battery life a day (= 24 hours).
So I believe it could run whole week (nights turned off) if there would not be much use. But I cannot test it because I really need to use my phone
Thanks for the quick reply moneytoo.
So it seems to me batterylife is more or less the same as a standard 1100mAh battery like on a Tornado device according to your experience. Price is about the same as the official 1100mAh extended battery. During weekdays I'm a heavy user of my phone so it seems to me this big battery is the right choice.
Thanks again.
my s300 is every time only and have a lot calls -> ideal working phone!
i use the office extanted batterie from HTC. the cover is very good. the most china made extanted batterie covers, are realy bad designed. if you can buy a htc version ... buy it :->
So the 1900mAh makes the phone about 6mm thicker? How much for the 1100mAh battery?
The 1100 mAh battery adds only 3 mm extra. And the cover is in sriped-style, but the 1800 mAh is not, it is just cheap plastic cover, but fits.
Good and useful information
Thanks guys/gals for this piece of information. It is definitely useful for people who are always looking for a plug to charge their phone.
The question is style(looks), versus practical(working phone)
Yes yes... thanks indeed. Very useful information.

Duino 2200 battery

hy guys, just bought duino 2200 mAh battery so let you know about the diamond thickness with this one, it's about 2.1 cm. Don't worry about battery life, in really is double as the original, do worry though about bulkyness. the store where i did get this one told me that the 1700 mAh one is like the original thickness, but not really noticeable battery life improvement over original
hows the battery life?
tudorlv, thanks for picture but the battery made topaz bulky....wish if any one test the battery of 1700 mAH which fits diamond2
Hello,
I have the Duino 2200 battery and its the double life time then the original, and about the bulky thing you have to choose more lifetime or skinny TD2 and charge every day or max 2 days.
Im verry happy with it stays without any problem 4 days on normal use, calling ,sms and a few games a day.
Greetz Scoozy.
yes, but you are not using a cradle...

Battery question....

I am thinking about getting the Eris, but I read that the Sprint and European Hero both have a slightly larger 1500mah battery vs the Eris 1300(or was it 1200, either way it's smaller)mah battery. I have read this equals to about an hour less of talk time, and few hours less of standby time. Therefore, since the Eris is just another version of the Hero is it possible to get the Hero battery and use it on the Eris? thanks
bump please?
european Hero is 1350 i think, so not much difference there :/
Hmm but the Sprint Hero, which we get state side is 1500mah which is marginally larger and better from what I have seen in the reviews.
You are correct - the European Hero has a 1350mAh battery. However, as a GSM device it is less power hungry than the CDMA versions. I'm very surprised that the Eris doesn't use the same battery as the Sprint Hero.
I don't know any specifics of the Eris battery dimensions, but I do know that the Sprint battery is too big to fit in a GSM Hero.
Regards,
Dave
Big in terms of depth, hight &/or width wise? Yeah the Eris battery life is what gets me. You pair the Eris with its senor and the Sprint battery it could easily have the best battery life. Thanks.
The dimensions of the Sprint Hero battery is (in inches): 2 9/16 x 1 11/16 x 3/16
I've got a GSM Hero, so I didn't take these measurements myself and got them from another forum user here.
Regards,
Dave
Well I looked around a bit and turns out the Euro Hero battery fits but not worth it as its only a 50mah larger. The Sprint Hero battery works, but the battery cover does not fit over, hence a larger battery cover is needed(not needed with the Euro model).
