When it comes to video editing, Android is getting better and better. Adobe Clip is a newly released app that has all the features you could want in a video editor... Except for a timeline. For some reason Android video editors rarely feature a timeline of any sort. Well I think I found the solution when I was looking for an editor to put together my movie about how airplanes are actually just demons traveling through portals.
InHandStudio is a free video editor for Android. It does have some in app purchases, so be prepared for that. This is a timeline based editor that lets you add effects, transitions, audio tracks and all kinds of stuff. When it comes to the effects, there are tons to choose from. You can even go in a fine tune them. So I can apply a blur effect, edit the amount of blur, and then I can change the blur strength throughout the clip.
When it's time to export your video, you can choose the resolution, aspect ratio, FPS, render quality, bits per sample and everything like that. This is really impressive for an Android app. I highly recommend downloading this app and checking it out. It's still very young so it will be exciting to see where this goes over time.
Here are some of the key features.
- Professional non-linear video editor
- Video morph
- Chroma key (green screen)
- No limits on number of tracks
- Multichannel effects
- Undo/redo stack for everything you do
- Many effects applied simultaneously
- Any effect's parameter can be animated
- Fine tune for all of output parameters
- Time marks can be set to align tracks to
- Adjustable play speed of video tracks
- Different media formats in one project
- Up to 1080p video output supported
- Share your movies with your friends

Hi guys, I want to introduce my new app, "Cast to", a proposed modern Windows 10 replacement of the DLNA player "Lumia Play to".

App's pros:
descending sorting of the media items (pictures and videos)
same view and playlist for pics & videos
slideshow plays pics and videos
Continuum support
app able to show panoramas/non-standard pics usually rejected by most of TV's
modern and fast Windows 10 user interface
real support from developer (also, app still under intensive development)
app's cons:
lack of QA/testing
Microsoft casting API instead own DLNA server (as Nokia/Lumia Play to has)
bugs and unstable work on the "budget" low memory handsets
This app is paid ($1.99) but has an unlimited trial version, with only one limitation: you'll see big red overlay "TRIAL VERSION" on your TV and handset.

Please, don't rate app low; ask me first here, in forum, or via app's support email.
If you like this app, please rate it "5 stars" and left good review in your store.
Thank you.

@dxdy, thank you for the good words, my friend!
P.S. Free codes are always available for you - just let me know

"Cast to" got an update 1.4.1 (already in store).
What's new:
- significantly improved Continuum mode (as it supposed to be): now you hold UI in your hands (on the phone screen) and big screen receives pics/videos only, very useful!
- added backward playback for the slideshow (before it worked for selected items only). This option is very useful if you wanna demonstrate some events to friends and relatives;
- added "Share to" protocol support, now you can start "Cast to" directly from "Photos" app;
- significantly improved thumbnails/items data loading from cache (I moved changes in "Favorites" search to the separate thread). People with many media items (like me, more than 6000) will feel it!
- fixed bug in the slideshow playback (slideshow stopped after video playback);
- fixed some other bugs, added new ones

Nowadays, it's not just professional photographers and filmmakers who are using camera drones. More and more people are falling in love with these awesome gadgets, as they can reach areas and shoot from angles that regular cameras simply can't. With a drone, people can gain whole new appreciation of the city they have lived in for years.
Furthermore, with today's communication technologies, low-latency real-time video transmission has become a reality, which means footage captured on a drone can be streamed to others in real time.
CaaS Kit Lite: Connecting Millions of Smart Devices for Audio and Video Calls
The globally-leading drone brand DJI has integrated HUAWEI CaaS Kit Lite into its drone app. When the user runs this drone app on a Huawei phone, a "floating button" will automatically display on the screen.
They can then press this button to display their contact list.
Once they've selected a contact, the user will be able to start a video call with that contact's HUAWEI Vision or mobile phone. The video stream from the camera drone will then be transmitted straight to the contact's smart TV or smartphone.
Sharing aerial views of the city has never been so easy! And users can even call their friends from way up in the air.
By utilizing HUAWEI CaaS Kit Lite, the DJI's drone app is able to use the app video data as the video call course, implementing communication and interconnection with Huawei devices. In addition to camera drones, CaaS Kit Lite can bring handy features to other devices, and can be widely applied across all sorts of scenarios which we will be introducing in the near future.
HUAWEI CaaS Kit Lite has now been released on the HUAWEI Developer website, along with its development guide and sample code, so you can quickly integrate CaaS Kit Lite into your apps, and bring awesome audio and video calling to your users.
Thanks, it was great!

During the global pandemic, video communications have become an indispensable part of daily life, breaking down geographical barriers and keeping colleagues and loved ones connected during this time of physical distancing.

Thanks to the DDPai mini 5 dashcam, which supports the distributed image capability of HUAWEI MeeTime, you can hit the road on your own, and never feel lonely.
By switching from the phone camera to the DDPai mini 5 dashcam, the person you're talking to will be able to view the scenery along the way, as it appears to you. The distributed image capabilities even allow for the parties to share multiple perspectives in real time.
MeeTime x drones, new horizons brought into view
You can also share a view from up above with others, captured by a camera drone in real time, during a MeeTime video call.
To achieve this, simply tap on the MeeTime icon on the drone controller' screen, select a contact and device to initiate a MeeTime call, and fly your drone to begin sharing the lofty view that it has captured. This equips your drone to serve as the phone's virtual camera, giving both yourself and the person you're calling, a remarkable opportunity to appreciate spectacular scenery together – with no delay!
MeeTime breaks through boundaries walling off devices, facilitating seamless cross-device connections, and endowing video communications with enriching perspectives, thanks to HD-quality video calling, and the ability to transmit the drone' images to the phone in the blink of an eye. The other party can even switch the video call to a larger screen device, such as a HUAWEI Vision TV, to enjoy truly breathtaking video imagery.
MeeTime x motion camera, for sharing exhilarating life moments
If you're a sports or outdoors enthusiast, you'd be remiss not to try out MeeTime for yourself. With a Drift X1 motion camera, it enables you to use the camera imagery during video calls, rather than that from the phone's lens, and send awe-inspiring images in the midst of a thrilling activity or excursion.
Whether it's cruising on a mountain bike, or racing on skateboard, you'll be able share your movement in real time, so that the other party can experience the thrill of each bump and turn, as you do.
If this article has piqued your interest, by all means, try out MeeTime on your device, and experience a next-level video calling experience that'll blow your mind!
