[Q] SuperSU blocked after rooting - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello
I updated my I9305 to 4.3 and then rooted with CF-Auto-Root-m3-m3zh-gti9305, the problem is whenere i try to access SuperSU or an application tries to get root from SuperSU i get this notification "Security Information: An application attempted to access system on your device wothout authorization. This attempt has been blocked."
How can i fix this issue ?

Best ask in i9305 [email protected] forum, anything in here could brick your phone.

Find CF root for your ROM version and again you'll have root.

What? So you're asking how to use root applications after you lost root, without actually rooting again? Seriously?
Is anyone else troubled by the change of screen colour after a root? lol?
Dude, root it with SuperOneClick, takes 5 min and is easy, so easy even a barely english speaking person such as yourself couldnt screw it up.
dude i had root my phone using superoneclick,so dont give a ****.i am just asking that is there any chance to unblock my apps without rooting it again.

how to work the apps which require root permision without rooting the phone? no chance...
Rooting may have not caused your screen problem, its caused by any application you used after rooting. as far as I know to rectify such problem within the firmware you need root again...
thanks....and any idea how to get my pics back in my galary coz there are pics in memory card but doesnt show in my galary.

Cut your pics from the current location and paste it into Sdcard/DCIM folder and reboot and try

Root your phone again. Get mobile Odin pro. Then again flash full stock firmware.
This way you'll keep root with full stock firmware.

Just ODIN the lastest Jelly Bean (4.1.1), not the 4.1.2 leak and you should be good to go
How to do it. . If done Odin, my device will be rooted or not?? Sory for noob question I am totally new to Android
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
flashing stock 4.1.1 via Odin won't root your phone
but don't flash 4.1.2 coz it is pre-rooted

Remove the external sd card and reboot. Check for updates again. It should solve your problem.

I am happy as my problem exist no more,
Before going for flashing option, by chance I get my device encryted and encryption works!
I don't know how but now everything is ok, back to normal, check my updates from device, it shows normal in device Status. Thanks to everyone.

[Q] Unlocking O2 s3 bootloader

Hello friends
I have just sim-unlocked my galaxy s3 from O2 UK .
I tried searching a lot but couldn't find a thread which would guide me to unlock the bootloader of my S3 .
Now when i have unlocked from O2 carrier , can i unlock the bootloader ?
Waiting for your replies.
Thankyou.
As far as I know O2 hasn't locked the bootloader for the S3, only AT&T did that across the pond.

thanks for replying, but is there any procedure to know wether unlocking the bootloader is allowed or not ?
It shouldn't be locked in the first place, try to root if that works it's not locked. (as usual rooting will void your warranty.)

sorry to ask , but is it necessary to root the phone before unlocking the bootloader ?
There is no lock on the boot loader. It is unlocked by default. Only Verizon over here in the states locked the boot loader by default. Not AT&T, Delsus
Meaning don't worry about the boot loader. How hard is it to understand that?

My mistake I wasn't far off though
But yeah you do not need to unlock the bootloader it was unlocked when it rolled off the production line and will be forever unlocked.

Th "4g" international version is the i9305.
You can go to settings > about phone.
There's also a massive black screen when you first turn on the phone with the model number on it

But when i tried to install Root_SuperSU.1.02-Busybox.1.21.0.zip frm cwm recovery . I got an error .

E. Signature verification failed.
Please help me .
Have you used the /!\ button to report this thread yet? You need it moved to i9305 q&a.
If you're using stock recovery you will get this error. Means you missed a step because you haven't flashed custom recovery.
In custom recovery is an option to toggle off signature verification.
If you haven't reported your thread yet, please to so now

Can I update my rooted 4.2 to 4.3

I recently rooted my Verizon Galaxy s4 on 4.2 and just noticed today 4.3 pushed down on my phone as available. If I update will I brick my phone or should it work?
You will get an error message because your phone is modified. No update for you, you will have to flash back to stock unrooted.

It says sorry your device does not have proper root access. Do you think I'm safe to update to 4.3 now?

I'm glad somebody here is willing to help you, but it's important to note that you're posting in the wrong forum. This forum is for the S4 Active available on AT&T and internationally which is a different phone than the regular S4. The forum you are looking for where you will get better help related to your device can be found here.
Ha! After my answer I went straight to Sammobile and started searching for 4.3 lol, now I realised that he asked about S4.. thanks for clearing that out!
