[SHARE][APP] XDA Credibilty - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 Themes and Apps

Note : I'm just sharing the work of the XDA member fernando sor. Here's a little introduction by him :
fernando sor said:
Xda Credibility is an Application that lifts your xda statistics and creates a score based on those Stats.
There is a Leader board or Main View which lists all users in order from highest to lowest score.
There are also Two individual views. The first is created when you enter our Database. the second is clickable from the main view when you select a user in the leader board.
Instructions
Go to XDA and open your profile. In the URL it will read http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=( Your User Id number). The number after the = sign enter into the edit text field and click get score. This will also write your profile number to your SD card. Do not click get score without a number in the edit text field or it will write nothing to your card and fail to launch. this will also send you to your profile if you select that option.
UPDATE
12/3/13
Added Itemized list to show who has the most roms, themes, mods etc.
Also added Lists to show all in the data base who are Developers, Contributors, Themers etc.
Free version is the same as the paid just has ads.
UPDATE
12/9/13
added scoring to xda special status lists (Rec. dev Themer etc) to make less confusing as I sort the lists from high to low score.
UPDATE
12/11/13
Added thanks to post ratio score. If you are equal to post = thanks you will start at 100 and go up or down from there.
**Free App is on bottom of OP**
**THANKS**
mcluvn for the icons.
Lars Werkman for the color wheel.
dfuse06 for being a tester and being awesome.
My Bad seed brethren.
pvyParts for being a huge help on the comparator and sorting.
My goal with this application is to have a comprehensive list or Leader Board to honor those who have worked very hard (usually with little donations) to make our phone experience unique. This is what truly sets us apart from ios. It isn't perfect but I believe it is pretty complete as far as showing all threads and recognizing Xda status, thanks and posts. I am going to ad Admin to the list also.
*bugs* if you have no internet connection and you do a fresh install the leader board will fc. Otherwise it loads with no internet connection. You do need a connection to get your score and be added to the database. If xda search is down that will not connect.
**FREE VERSION**
Free version has

[STATUS BAR][MIU-Y] ~~In development pics of "MIU-¥ 14 [email protected]$ TOGGL€$" ~~

Hey guys. I just made this thread to give a little hint of the status bar works in "MIU-¥ ROM". This is just a preview. The final release will be totally different. I just made this to give a hint about toggle buttons. I will be changing everything and will apply 15% white colored transparency as well.
To check the development and pics go to our facebook page - "www.facebook.com/XAROMS". And to check rom development go to our blog(s) - "xaroms.tk" and "miuy.tk". Miuy.tk is under development and is having theme problems. You wont be able to look at the development page right now. Wait a little and we will fix this. I cannot upload the pics right here as i am on mobile.

Description
Vanilla RootBox is built straight from RootBox sources and always carries a very light installation with no extra/useless apps. This means, you can enjoy a pure Android experience combined with AOKP/CM features and some CM cherry-picks. Keep in mind Jelly Bean is only at the beginning stage of development and there will be minor bugs. Every RootBox releases are stable and always up to the challenge for a daily usage. I personally have a high standard when it comes to releases and this is why this project always meets the expectations of users. If you're wondering how this ROM differs from any other AOKP roms out there, I only have one thing to say: Try it yourself and choose the one that meets your requirements.

Contribute to RootBox
Those interested in making wallpapers and bootanimation for RootBox, send an email to [email protected] with the following:
Information
Name
Email
Wallpapers
Attach wallpaper in email
Three sizes are required: HDPI, XHDPI and Grouper
I'll review them and add the wallpapers in the next release. I will also choose the best one as the default wallpaper for official releases.
Bootanimation
Attach bootanimation or paste download link in the email.
Three sizes are required: HDPI, XHDPI and grouper
Wallpaper Resolution
HDPI: 960 x 800
XHDPI: 1440 x 1280
XHDPI: 1280 x 800
You can also contribute by creating icons for settings. Use proper sizes and always include compatibility for HDPI, XHDPI and grouper.
The reason behind this is very simple. I'm always busy and I've neglected the visual aspect of RootBox for a while now. It's time to polish it with new visuals!
How to Build RootBox from Source
Getting started
I will assume that you have some kind of knowledge with Linux and how to use a terminal. I will also assume that you have already setup all the android building requirements. First, you must create your working folder and initialize a repository with RootBox sources. The following steps will guide you in creating this working folder where you will be able to build RootBox.
You should now open a terminal (By default you should be in your home folder: /home/yourusername/)
Step 1: Let's create a folder in your home directory named RootBox. This will be referred as your working folder.
Code:
~$ mkdir RootBox
Step 2: Let's change our directory to the new RootBox folder we just created.
Code:
~$ cd RootBox
Step 3: Now that we are in our working folder (RootBox), we will initialize our RootBox repository by entering the following command:
Code:
~$ repo init -u git://github.com/Root-Box/platform_manifest.git -b jb-mr1
Step 4: It's now time to sync RootBox sources which could vary from a few minutes to a few hours depending on your internet connection.
Code:
~$ repo sync
Building Vanilla RootBox
Now that you have synced the sources, you're ready to build RootBox.
You can run the following build script:
Code:
~$ ./build_rootbox.sh -device- -sync- -thread-
Device: Choose between the following supported devices: i9100, i9100p, i9100g, i9300, d2att, mako and grouper
Sync: Will sync latest RootBox sources before building
Threads: Allows to choose a number of threads for syncing and building operation.
Examples:
1) Sync sources and Build RootBox for GT-I9100 with 12 threads
Code:
~$ ./build_rootbox.sh i9100 sync 12
2) Don't sync sources and Build RootBox for GT-I9300 with 6 threads
Code:
~$ ./build_rootbox.sh i9300 nosync 6
3) Don't sync sources and Build RootBox for SGH-I747 with 4 threads
Code:
~$ ./build_rootbox.sh d2att nosync 4
This script will make a signed flashable zip file located in out/target/product/-device-/RootBox-JB-(Device)-Nightly-(Date).zip
FORUM RULES
1. Search before posting.
Use one of our search functions before posting, whether you have a question or something new to share, it's very likely someone already asked that question or shared that news.
2. Member conduct.
2.1 Language: XDA is a worldwide community. As a result what is ‘ok’ to say in your part of the world may not be ok in someone else’s part of the world. Please think about who is reading what you write. Keep in mind that what you think of as acceptable use of language may not be acceptable to others. Conversely, while reading member posts, remember that word you find offensive may not be to the writer. Tolerance is a two way street.
2.2 Nudity: XDA is used by people of all ages, including minors. It's not acceptable to post nude/pornographic imagery, which includes exposure of the male or female genitalia or of female breasts.
2.3 Flaming: XDA was founded as a group of people sharing information about certain mobile phones. Sharing does not involve virtual yelling (flaming) it does involve working together to solve problems in an environment of mutual respect and understanding. Losing your temper and flaming another member, or group of members, is not acceptable behavior.
2.4 Personal attacks, racial, political and/or religious discussions:[/B] XDA is a discussion forum about certain mobile phones. Mobile phones are not racial, political, religious or personally offensive, therefore none of these types of discussions are permitted on XDA.
2.5 Courtesy towards other Members: Treat new members the way you would like to have been treated when you were a new member. When dealing with any member, provide them with guidance, advice and instruction when you can and always with respect and courtesy. Never post in a demanding, argumentative, disrespectful or self-righteous manner.
2.6 All members are expected to read and adhere to the XDA rules.
3. Post only using a clear subject and message.
You're most likely to receive a helpful answer to your question if you use a short subject title that describes your problem and a message that explains in detail what your problem is and what you've tried to solve it.
4. Use the English language.
We understand that with all the different nationalities not everyone speaks English well, but please try. If you're really unable to post in English use an online translator, You're free to include your original message in your own language below the English translation.
5. Post a message only once.
As a large forum we don't need unnecessary clutter, You're free to edit your message as you like, so if you do not receive an answer revisit your message and see if you can describe your problem better. Not everyone is online at the same time, it might take a while before you receive an answer.
6. Do not post warez.
If a piece of software requires you to pay to use it, then pay for it. We do not accept warez nor do we permit any member to promote or describe ways in which Warez, cracks, serial codes or other means of avoiding payment, can be obtained. This is a site of developers, i.e. the sort of people who create such software. When you cheat a software developer, you cheat us as a community
7. Do not spam.
If you wish to advertise a product, contact us we provide ads. But do not post it in the forums, it will be removed and you're likely to receive a ban.
You are however allowed to sell used goods like your own device, parts of your device or accessories for your device in the marketplace forum, please read the rules there before posting. (This rule includes signatures, if you use a signature it will appear in your post)
8. Donations.
We appreciate all donations to xda-developers.com, it keeps our forum online and well maintained. As a user you're allowed to ask for donations in your signature as a thank you for your hard work. However donations up front are not allowed, this forum is about sharing, not about getting paid to do something, that's what your job is for.
9. Don't get us in trouble.
Don't post copyrighted materials or do other things that will obviously lead to legal trouble. If you wouldn't do it on your own homepage, you probably don't want to do it here either. This does not mean we agree with everything the software piracy lobby try to impose on us, it simply means you cannot break any laws here, since we'll end up dealing with legal hassle caused by you. Please use common sense: respect the forum, its users, and those that write great code.
10. Help others if you can.
If you see posts from others where you can help out, please do. This place exists because people are helping each other, and even if you are relatively new to the matter, there's probably already quite a few people newer than you that would benefit from what you've learned. Don't be shy.
11. Don’t post with the intention of selling something.
Don’t use XDA to advertise your product or service. Proprietors of for-pay products or services, may use XDA to get feedback, provide beta access, or a free version of their product for XDA users and offer support, but not to post with the intention of selling. This includes promoting sites similar/substantially similar to XDA-Developers.com.
Do not post press releases, announcements, links to trial software, or commercial services. unless you’re posting an exclusive release for XDA-Developers.com.
Encouraging members to participate in forum activities on other phone related sites is prohibited.
Off-site downloads are permitted if the site is non-commercial and does not require registration.
Off-site downloads from sites requiring registration are NOT encouraged but may be permitted if the following conditions are met:
A) the site belongs to a member of XDA-Developers with at least 1500 posts and 2 years membership who actively maintains XDA-Developers' support thread(s) / posts, related to the download,
B) the site is a relatively small personal website without commercial advertising/links (i.e. not a competitor forum-based site with purposes and aims similar to those of XDA-Developers.com.)
12. Using the work of others.
If you are developing something that is based on the work of another Member, you MUST first seek their permission, and you must give credit to the member whose work you used. If a dispute occurs about who developed / created a piece of work, first try to settle the matter by private message and NOT in open forum. If this fails then you may contact a moderator with clear evidence that the work was created by you.
Convincing evidence will result in copied work being removed. If there is no clear evidence you created the work then in the spirit of sharing all work will remain posted on the forums.
These rules apply to all software posted on XDA unless that software comes with a license that waives these rules.
13. Advertising and Income Generation
Commercial advertising, advertising referral links, pay per click links and other income generating methods are forbidden. Do not use xda-developers as a means to make money.
14. Create only one User Account
You are allowed one User Account at xda-developers. If you create additional accounts, Moderators will disable them and your original account may also be disabled or infracted.
15. Keep posts/threads on-topic
Whilst a minor amount of off-topic posting may be overlooked, the general rule is your posts / threads must be relevant to the Forum / thread in which you are posting.

FAQ

HALO FAQ (some most discussed topics after day #1 with HALO on RootBox):
How to configure HALO?
There are three places where you configure HALO behavior:
1. Settings > RootBox Settings > HALO Settings where you configure basic HALO Notifications behavior
2. Settings > Apps > [Any App options] where you enable / disable concrete app Blacklist / Whitelist entry
3. Paranoid Android HALO))) App from Play Store where you configure apps for persistent notifications in so called floating mode.
What are options in Settings > RootBox Settings > HALO Settings?
- HALO policy allows you to choose between Blacklist (default) or Whitelist policy. In Blacklist mode are notifications from all app ON by default and you can explicitly configure some of them not to show HALO notifications by entering them to Blacklist. In Whitelist mode are notifications from all app OFF by default and you can explicitly configure some of them to show HALO notifications by entering them to Whitelist.
- Hide HALO after activity (disabled by default) allows you (if enabled) to hide HALO circle shortly after notification appears.
- Reverse HALO gestures changes behavior of dragging / tapping on HALO circle. Better to play with it or watch some youtube videos than describe this... Basics are: If enabled (default), then dragging is for tasking and double-tap swipe allows you to position circle or delete / deactivate it. If disabled, functions are reversed.
How to Blacklist / Whitelist apps?
Go to Settings > Apps > [Any App options] and there right under "Show notifications" checkbox you find either "Blacklist HALO notifications" or "Whitelist HALO notifications" according to policy set in HALO policy options.
What can I do using Paranoid Android HALO))) App?
Add some apps like Email, Gmail, Messaging, etc. using "+" button, press ">" button and you will see... You will have persistent notification in floating mode for those chosen apps. Try to drag HALO circle and you will get it.
How can I disable / deactivate HALO? (I don't want to see the circle on my screen)
Depending on your "Reverse HALO gestures" option:
- If enabled (default), then try quickly double-tap & swipe the circle. By this you will be able to position the circle or deactivate it by moving it to "trash".
- If disabled, then you can directly drag the circle. By this you will be able to position the circle or deactivate it by moving it to "trash".
How can I enable it again?
When HALO is deactivated, you can see special button in upper line of Notification drawer, that will activate it.
How can I uninstall HALO completely?
You can't. It is integral part of the ROM. You can only choose not to use it.
What if I cannot install .apk?
Wait for the next Nightly/Stable build. This will be solved. If you can't wait, then disable HALO, install what you need and enable it again.
Where can I find further information?
Take a look at this video by Oode.

This guide will help you setup your phone with new Per-App Settings.
First, all credits associate to Xposed Frameworks and Modules goes to Rovo89 for sharing his work and making it open source for everyone. You guys should all buy him a beer.
Steps to follow:
Install Xposed Frameworks by going in Modules Management>Install/Update
Enable Per-App Settings by going in Modules Management> Modules>Tick Per-App Settings (You should reboot your phone at this point)
Setup your phone : Per-App Settings>Choose your app>Set DPI/Resolution/Tablet UI/Language> Press Save on top
Your app should now display in your preferred settings. If it doesnt, kill the app and restart it or reboot phone.
Contribute to RootBox
Those interested in making wallpapers and bootanimation for RootBox, send an email to [email protected] with the following:
Information
Name
Email
Wallpapers
Attach wallpaper in email
Two sizes are required: HDPI and XHDPI
I'll review them and add the wallpapers in the next release. I will also choose the best one as the default wallpaper for official releases.
Bootanimation
Attach bootanimation or paste download link in the email.
Two sizes are required: HDPI and XHDPI
Wallpaper Resolution
HDPI: 960 x 800
XHDPI: 1440 x 1280
You can also contribute by creating icons for settings. Use proper sizes and always include compatibility for HDPI and XHDPI.
]
Building Vanilla RootBox
Now that you have synced the sources, you're ready to build RootBox.
You can run the following build script:
Code:
~$ . build_rootbox.sh -device- -sync- -thread- -clean-
Device: Choose between the following supported devices: i9100, i9100g, i9300, d2att, d2tmo, d2vzw, mako and grouper.
Sync: Will sync latest RootBox sources before building
Threads: Allows to choose a number of threads for syncing and building operation.
Clean: Will remove the entire out folder and start a clean build. (Use this at your discretion)
Examples:
1) Sync sources and Build RootBox for GT-I9100 with 12 threads
Code:
~$ . build_rootbox.sh i9100 sync 12
2) Don't sync sources, clean out folder and build RootBox for GT-I9300 with 6 threads
Code:
~$ . build_rootbox.sh i9300 nosync 6 clean
3) Don't sync sources, clean out folder and build RootBox for SGH-I747 with 4 threads
Code:
~$ . build_rootbox.sh d2att nosync 4 clean
4) Sync sources, clean out folder and build RootBox for Nexus 4 with 5 threads
Code:
~$ . build_rootbox.sh mako sync 5 clean

Standard gapps DO NOT come with the Photosphere feature! You must use other, non-official gapps if thats what you want.
You must format your external sdcard to FAT32 before using it on this rom! Otherwise you will get currupted sdcard messages.
If you want to return to a 4.1.x ROM after flashing AOKP, flash madmacks restore-sdcard-after-downgrade.zip AFTER flashing/nandroiding back to your 4.1.x rom. You can get this .zip attached below.
Enjoy guys I am personally using this rom as my daily driver. Dont forget to thank those in credit section!

Ahh sh*t, this is my new daily driver bruddas. This ROM is sick. You get the the AOKP feel with optional navigation bars built into settings, no need to mod it into this ROM. You also get to tweek the DPI per app and xposed is built into settings also. This is truly a nice rom that I will be on for awhile. Thanks guys.

Just curious and not calling you out at all, just saying in general but why are so much people obsessed with their battery and every single wakelock, drain, etc? Even if I am experiencing all of that, don't know/care really, my battery still lasts me plenty throughout the day listening to music, etc and still have 25%+ left over. And I leave my phone on the charger overnight so IDK/IDC if I'm getting battery drain. Does anyone else's battery not last throughout the day? Again not calling you out, just in general I've seen this in all of our AOSP threads.

[DIRECTORY][☆ ★ 2/1/14 ☆ ★] Note3 Roms/Kernels/Recoveries/Mod/Themes/Guides&MORE
This thread's purpose is to provide easy access to all your favorite development projects available and plenty more on your Sprint Samsung Note 3 and probably most importantly, keep you updated with the latest updates and new releases! I will do my best to do my best to update the hyperlinks with the new release dates ASAP but regardless the links will still redirect you to whatever your looking for. But this isn't simply your average directory, this includes tweaks and more from all across XDA. I am the creator of a very similar thread for the Sprint Galaxy S4 and after quite a few PM's from individuals that switch over to the the Note 3, I decided I'd share the love and create a directory for our bigger cousins the Note 3!
I do not take any responsibility for whatever may happen to your device, your computer, your chair, or that little green android guy under your desk, doing god knows what, when flashing/using any of these. Everything that's found in the Sprint Note 3 forums is listed here and you shouldn't worry about anything bad happening using those, just ALWAYS read the directions carefully as there may be firmware/etc incompatibilities - even read through the thread, MAYBE (sarcasm), before asking a question that has already been asked or answered in the OP of whatever thread it is.
BUT many many universal android tweaks are listed here, be very careful using these and be EXTRA careful when reading as there is sometimes different steps/requirements for different types of devices. Be sure specifically the Sprint Note 3 is supported (which should but the occasional tweak package has a hiccup or two)! Due to the large amount of tweaks available, I personally have not been able to test every single one just yet, but I will give help to whomever needs it and verify what I myself have tried and used and my experiences with whatever it may be.
AGAIN... Please be sure to READ.. READ.. and READ again before you do anything to your device! I am not the developer of any of these delicious android goodies, so be responsible with your device. Happy flashing friends!

Ultimate Custom Widget - "Make your own widgets easily in a WYSIWYG (What-you-see-is-what-you-get) editor. Use custom layout, fonts, images, shapes, interesting objects like series clocks, weather information with icons, unread sms and gmail counts, battery information with bars and pie graphs, analog clocks, TASKER VARIABLES and more. Use hotspots to assign actions to widget. Does not require programming, editing xml files or rooting your phone. Share your creations easily either through uzip files or make apks and post on Google play. Or keep your unique widgets to yourself and tease others."
OnLive - "OnLive cloud gaming is a revolutionary new concept in video games that instantly delivers the latest top-tier high-performance games on demand through the Internet to your Android tablet or phone with the simplicity of streaming video."
Battery Calibration - "Calibration needs to be done after flashing a new ROM, but you can calibrate any time you think your battery is miscalibrated. This program does it by removing the batterystats.bin system file. The OS generates a new clean batterystats file soon, thus any fake information from the previous ROM is removed."
OfficeSuite Pro 7 - "Made by MobiSystems, OfficeSuite Pro allows you to view, create, edit, print and share Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files on the go. You can also open attachments and see PDF files on an Android based phone or tablet with our feature-rich mobile office solution."
Splashtop Remote Desktop HD - "This is the ONLY remote desktop app that streams the whole PC or Mac screen to your Android tablet with smooth, high-res video and audio, allowing you to interact with your all applications, games, multimedia content, and files over Wi-Fi and 3G/4G networks. GO EVERYWHERE WITH JUST YOUR ANDROID DEVICE WITHOUT HAVING TO CARRY YOUR COMPUTER!"
Swiftkey Keyboard - "THE MIND-READING KEYBOARD"
Deep Sleep Battery Saver - "Deepsleep battery saver constantly puts the device to deepsleep mode while screen off."
Greenify - "Greenify help you identify and put the misbehaving apps into hibernation when you are not using them, to stop them from lagging your device and leeching the battery, in an unique way! They can do nothing without explicit launch by you or other apps, while still preserving full functionality when running in foreground, similar to iOS apps!"
Titanium Backup - "You can backup, restore, freeze (with Pro) your apps + data + Market links. This includes all protected apps & system apps, plus external data on your SD card. You can do 0-click batch & scheduled backups. Backups will operate without closing any apps (with Pro). You can move any app (or app data) to/from the SD card. You can browse any app's data and even query the Market to see detailed information about the app."
Battery Stats Plus - "Battery Stats Plus detects and notifies battery draining apps. It collects and analyzes battery usage per app basic on your Android devices."
Some of my favorite games of ALL TIME on Android - going to reorganize this into categories and update this with many more games so keep a look out!

Just what we needed. I love these threads. They come in quite handy.
Thank you sir! Hopefully someone can sticky this. (I believe I caught all of the ones that could be thanked.)
[FWIW, Josh Beach has a subset of this in the dev forum.]

We get new folk in all the time asking about root, making brand new threads every time of course. Perhaps a little section at the top outlining the methods, and a quick synopsis of each? (CF-autoroot, kingo, de la Vega?)
Also, awesome thread. I never have the time to start and maintain something like this.

Thanks for this @inlineboy! I enjoyed this same type of thread that you so diligently maintain for the S4 when I had that phone, so really really glad you decided to grace us with y9our time and efforts here. Thanks again!
Wow, allot of time putting this thread together. Very nice, organized, up to date... Many threads links I wouldn't know about had they not been listed here. Thanks for putting in the time and putting them in one place. I like!
I agree with @micmars that this should be stickied.

I'm actually just beginning to work on creating a sort of intro to android, rooting, flashing, kernels, etc, section on my original S4 thread for the same exact reason - once I get that sorted, I'll do the same for this one. You can check out my thread in my signature to see how much more in-depth this directory will get it once it get's rolling!

No worries man, anything for the community! I really like making these for two reasons - for easy access for everyone and to really help the XDA forums be much more condensed by eliminating the need for countless threads about the same topics with the use of this one thread.
Much appreciated. I'm a casual users with lots of experience (Been here since the Samsung i730), but not much time. Lots of people see my device, love it's customization and want to learn about the what they call "The other side" lol. Someone new to XDA will have a hard time even knowing where to start. You've put in work to make it simple and concise. I will point all my N3 users to this thread.
