i root my coolpad 7268 spice mi496 by baidu root.apk
then i install chain fire 3d when i reboot device after installing driver it got software damage and not starting now only spice logo is apearing.
so i want to flash it now with latest v9 firmware
i don't know how to flash pleaze tell me method and software reqife for it
dont worry bro every thing will b ok... frst you have to download some software... 1) ygdp tool. 2) chinese recovery 3) firmware version 9. 4) drivers of your phone (install this) after downloading all these files you have to switch off your phone. after that install ygdp tool and change the date to 1st august 2013 of your system. now you have to click on chinese button to switch to english. this tool will ask a password enter 9527. now take switched off phone and press volume up button and connect to pc via cable. you will see phone will switch to download mode. now in config select 7268 and browse for the cpb file which you will get by extracting recovery.zip. now press ok. it will verify and will say verified. now press start button. after few second it will say 100%. now paste firmware version 9 to your memory card now press both volume keys and power button together. you will see chinese recovery menu. go to second option sd sumthing browse to that zip and install.

Flashing chinese recovery
Hey bro srkRohan! i m happy as my post helped you. bro there is no option to change the language of baiduroot. but there are others options to get rooted. you have to download these files from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2532192
1)Chinese CWM
2)SuperSU.zip
3)Flashing tool
4)Drivers for ADB & USB tethering - Windows 8.1 x86/x64 compatible
flash chinese recovery(recovery.zip)
and after that install SuperSU.zip in recovery mode. to open recovery mode press both volume keys and power button for 10-15 mins. you will see a chinese recovery GUI. go to second option saying SD something. and browse for SuperSu.zip which you have downloaded and kept in external sd card. now you have unlocked a new world. your phone is rooted with english Chainfire superuser. also you can install latest firmware of version 9. and also other roms.

INSTRUCTION FOR OTA UPDATE:-
1. I recall that the OTA update is running in test mode.
2. Check for updates performs third-party program "OTA Update" because OPPO native service can download the update only for phones OPPO. For obvious reasons, they do not suit us.
3. The program checks for updates, but does not load them until you do not let her do it.
4. If an update run "OTA update".
5. Download the latest update available.
6. Before installing, remove the check mark from "Clear data" and "Clear cache" and click "Install."
7. Once again, click "Install."
8. Do not forget to give permission from SU.
9. Installation is performed automatically in the recovery.
10. If for some reason the installation does not occur, then reboot into recovery, select install zip from sdcard, indicate:
-> OTA-Updater/download/iq451_coloros_v0xx.zip and confirm installation.
Stable Version
Flashing Instructions:-
1) Download the zip file
2) Put into external/internal sd card
3) Go to CWM/Twrp recovery
4) Wipe data/factory reset
5) From advance menu do dalvik cache clear
6) Go in mount and storage select format system
7) Select install from sd card and select file and select yes
after done ur device will boot automatically

ROM is good but its old version uploaded there are some fix to be done like there is no APN SETTINGS in this ROM

and WOW WOW WOWWW .... the Rom is really super kewl ... just from a few hours of usage couldn't resist posting a review ...
Tested almost all basic features, UI luks kewl ... GPS locks in less than 5 seconds ... Both Sims working awesome ... Data/Wifi working seemlessly ... And Ram mgmnt too quite good, thou will have to wait and see ...
And all this with COLOR OS still in beta ... tnxx for the dev who ported this ...

Download "recovery.img" (CWM 5.5.0.4) and "MT6592_Android_scatter.txt" file to any temporary folder.
Extract and open the SP Flash Tools.
In SP Flash Tools, click on Scatter-Loading and the program will ask you the location of the scatter loading file for your device.
Select the file "MT6592_Android_scatter.txt" which we already downloaded at step 2.
Check only recovery.img and uncheck all others. Click on "recovery.img" file and set it's location to our downloaded "recovery.img"(CWM) file
Switch off your phone (wait for 10-12 sec).
In Flash Tool, Click the Download option and the flash tool will start looking for your phone.
Connect your phone now. The Flash Tool will start the flashing process, the progress of which can be viewed from a yellow progress bar at the bottom of the flash tool.
***Don't interrupt this process as it can potentially brick your device.
***Make sure no power interruption takes place. (Use a laptop to ensure this).
After the process completes, a green ring will appear on your device signalling that the process was successful.
Disconnect your phone.

Is there any way to increase the font size of recovery mode...I had to use the magnifier....Just kidding...

I'm planning to port custom ROM with there original Kitkat 4.4.2 ROM with some performance tweaks. Thereafter will try to port with some popular ROM like MIUI, Samsung etc... so keep waiting and also most important keep patience

Make sure you add features to change the font size and custom fonts in rom. And remove Micromax bloatware

Could you please write down the bloatware list here ? so that i can remove them from our upcoming custom ROM.
BTW - I'm planning to release this build with pre-installed xposed framework+GravityBox [KK]. With no more major changes at this time....

Here are the programs that I dont like and I think should not be there on the phone.
1.) All the micromax apps as they are not full apps and really badly made and ask for Rs. 99 Each. I mean come on if I approach XDA will I be aying 99 for each app. Grow up Micromax
2.) Spuul ( no one uses that)
3.) BBM (Blackberries are no more tasty now)
4.) Facebook ( it shuld be a user app as this gets updated and eats away 40 Mb)
5.) Games that micromax gives in trial and asks for money for like where's my perry. and water
6.) RegistTest (It will register your phone everytime you restart it and will spend 3 Rs everytime)
7.) Truecaller ( It should also be user app)
8.) Whatsapp ( same reason)
9.) Hike ( why shoulld we look forr something that is not whatsapp)
10.) A very irritating Micromax homepage from the Browser which was almost impossible for me to remove.
11.) Brandfusion Ringtone ( Its very irritating)
12.) MIcromax Launcher which behaves like its not on FHD screen but on 240*320 Screen, Gigntic Icons and no customization.
13.) The very cheap G and 3G icons from the status bar. Looks like we do not know which network we are on and Micromax came in like a charm to save our souls. Hell.
14.) Reduce the font size it looks like I am wearing my GrandPa's Glasses.
15.) Add option to change the font size to tiny like it is in Samsung.
16.) Kingsoft Office( It will spoil your tables in document, Better use Quick Office it wil give you dditional 10 Gb space on Google Drive)
In Short try to keep it as much android as you can. Better like Nexus 5
What if I replace the systemUI.apk in Kitkat with the one from Jelly Bean...

I have no idea about this..... not tested !! But this is what about the ROM theme apk. We need some more extra dependencies to become it works.
BTW - For Canvas Knight A350 Custom ROM, you can download mod kitkat from here:

I tried my phone aborted the installtion and doesn't boot only MMX logo apraring and not getting swithc off, somehow i flashed kitkat again (with high risk by keeping phone on) but it worked now happy with KITKAT rooted with CMW & SuperSU (Note Superuser not working in MMX A350) !!!!

If you are using KitKat then lots of issues in it, I tried and back to 4.2 now!!!!
error: initializing scatter file failed
I tried doing this but the SP Flash Tool says " error: initializing scatter file failed. Please check the name of scatter file which you load..."
Any suggestions ?

I got my new arya z2 from Amazon yesterday....
It runs on Kitkat 4.4.2....I think it's boot loader is locked..
I thought towelroot would work but it didnt root my phone...

Salora Arya Z2 Root and Custom Recovery
The device was rooted by me way back.
Download the files from the link below and follow the mentioned procedure.

Procedure:
1. Download and install drivers from the download files
If not working try these too

2. Download and copy/move UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.02 to your memory card.

5. Click on 'recovery' in sp flash tools and select the downloaded Recovery.
6. Click Download in sp flash tools, remove the battery from phone and connect it to pc.
A green circle/download ok will confirm flashing.
7. Insert battery and press volume up+power on, then press volume up to select recovery.
8. Select install from sd card and press the power button to go forward, select UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.02.zip and say yes to flash.
9. Reboot, Done.

I deleted the Facebook page as I was to busy with my other office schedule. However I have updated the same details above which was on the Facebook page.

Rooted and searching for ROM now
Thanks a lot for the post. Got the rooting done for my Salora- Arya Z2. This post was the only place to help in this case. A Request : pls suggest me to upgrade or install a new ROM in the device coz of divided partition in phone memory and I n trying to use a trading software which is not installing in the phone whereas have used it in my frenz moto g2 lollipop version. Pls advice or guide
I m just a beginner for rooting n all other tweaks...

Pre requirements
Make sure your device has rooted, If not watch Techno Nature Science's Video
Make sure you have installed the CWM recovery on your Samsung Galaxy Star Pro, If not watch Techno Nature Science's Video
Data back up is very much essential when you go for these kind of flashing process, I would suggest you to use Titanium backup to manually create a complete backup of your device.
Enable USB debugging mode via the settings menu.
Make sure to charge your device at least up to 80%.
Steps to Update Samsung Galaxy Star Pro to Android Lollipop 5.0.2
Plugin your Samsung Galaxy Star Pro to your computer via USB and copy the file you have just downloaded to the device’s SD card(not internal), do not extract the zip file.
Now Switch Off your device and reboot into recovery mode by pressing Volume Up+Power+Home key simultaneously until you see the boot logo on your device’s screen.
Now go to the recovery option and perform a full factory reset.
Now Wipe cache partition and wipe Dalvik cache (advance mode).
Now you can flash the ROM by selecting the option install from zip from SD card option which I believe is the simplest way. It will ask you to provide the zip file, browse the ROM file and hit enter to begin the installation.
It will take several minutes
Let the process to complete, don’t try to do much with your device at this stage until it shows “Thank You”.
Now, it will take some time to reboot. Have some patience and wait for it.
And you’re finished with upgrading to Lollipop, now enjoy the latest version of Android on your phone.:victory:

after installation of the Lollipop themed ROM we require these file that is GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk and GoogleBackupTransport.apk .
2. we find these files in custom roms such as sweet kit kat rom
3.zip this file we go to system /app/ these files are find
4.copy these files in sd card
5.paste these files root/system/app using Root explorer
6.root explorer must me r/w mode
7.reboot the system after copy these files
