Hello. Today I tried to install Themer on my friend's HTC Vivid running stock 4.0.3 w Sense 3.6. He can't install themer as it says it's "not compatible." Any workarounds? He's not rooted as well.

Unfortunately it might take some time. The Vivid has an unusual resolution, and is running ICS, both elements that we will implement in the coming weeks.

Most don't, but some do. I'm using the Honeycomb email app, as well as an app called TV show Faves that just updated with the first bit of honeycomb support.

will this work on Desire HD, gingerbread ?
Guys, try the app with the latest Honeycomb port by Madcat, since that is based off a newer SDK.
So I was looking at current android news on androidcentral.com when I read this article about swype being prepped for ICS. Apparently official swype for ICS hasn't even come out yet, which confuses me because I currently have swype working with ICS on my HTC Glacier. It could be that swype doesn't work on the Galaxy Nexus because it's a new device with different screen dimensions and the onscreen buttons, but it works on my Glacier because it's an older device running ICS and swype already supports it. I'm curious if anyone else has swype beta up and running on their device running ICS or if they're having issues with it.
i got it and it works perfectly. ICS on droid3
Are you able to download additional languages? I can't seem to download any. That's the only real issue I have worth Swype on my beta ICS ROM.

Swype on my Galaxy S II is not a normal beta version!

can someone post the apk?
You can get the Swype beta from the Swype beta site. Just sign up for the beta and you'll get a link to download the apk.

The reason why Swype is not working with ICS is that you cannot download additional languages. You can only use English and Spanish. They're working on it.

But the Galaxy S II only has GingerBread... unless you have a custom rom.
Is it possible to get the smaller version of the clock widget that is on the Sensation XL version of sense 3.5
EDIT they have the clock in the new sense ics roms!
I have tried a few methods from the Sensation forum and none of them have worked for me. I can get it to install and show up under widgets but it will not show up on my home screen. I am running a custom rom. I think maybe our screen resolution has something to do with it??

Although you would have to purchase it, just get Beautiful Widgets from the market. It has everything that you would need. That's a 4x1 widget that's included with BW. You can also get tons of skins to make it look how you want.

possibly...
I noticed the ICS leaks have this widget. Is there anyone that can port it to Gingerbread?
I would like this too. I've seen it on the ics roms and I had it on some gingerbread roms on the evo 4g when they were making sense 3.0 roms for it.

I got it to work on Gingerbread actually, but the graphics were really glitchy.
How did you get it to work?

Try fancy widgets, it has that exact same clock setup.
This is fancy widgets

Tried this and it doesn't work. The small widget doesn't even show up as an option. Then I tried to use the exact apk from ics and it shows the small clock but when selected it doesn't display on screen. The other clocks work though. Any ideas?

Yeah that solved in the title isn't going to help much either, since it's not really solved. Oh well.

I think this has to do with ics than sgs3 in particular. It is the same in my one x and seen similar behavior with galaxy nexus.

I mentioned galaxy nexus running stock ics... You missed that?
Also I forgot to mention they are apps in play store where you can set full wallpaper. Can't remember names but wallpaper wizardi is one of them I think.

it worked! thanks Kirdroid!
Use QuickPic from market
I'm new to htc so this is probably a lame question. When I go into settings personalize I have the scene and skin options but nothing to choose from. Are there themes I can download? If so what ones and any recommendations? I'm rooted and unlocked running the battery plus rom with the stock kernel.
HTC DROID DNA
Take a look in the themes and apps section. There are some to download in there.
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk 2
Do they show up in settings_personalize_skins or scene? Or do you have to flash a stock theme to go back to the current theme? I guess I'm looking how to get options into the skins or scene option, I don't have anything to choose from. Are there themes in the play store available like the cm theme chooser?
HTC DROID DNA
He just told you go to the DNA themes and app forum the skins are regular apks you just Download install and they'll show up in your skin chooser

Yup sorry, Im a douchebag, I told you it was a lame question. Still getting the hang of what is HTC sense based and what is functionality of the ROM.
I switched from the battery plus rom to the Hatka rom, I now have multiple choices under personalize, also tried a couple of the Team 420 mods.

There not mods, there skins. They can be used on a stock, unrooted phone.
