From searching other forums and google I found the following:
You can enter update mode by removing the battery, then while holding down the VOL + button plug in your usb cord(i assume while it's connected to your computer).
Then you can search the forums here and find:
[LG P970] Upgrade Kit 3.5
(the title is longer than this i just didn't put it all in here due to laziness)
This should help you in your quest of retrieving your phone from light up paperweight status. I don't really know though. Since I've never used your phone. Good luck.
recovery mode
you need to press the home button, volume -, and power,
to enter to the recovery mode.

The Home key is actually the touch key on the Optimus Black..it's not a button but a touch input
The combination is the same as above :good:

Doesn't work when you power up your device with those keys.
Power on your device before you press the key combination.

power up your phone, when the buttons start to blink (or the cm logo appears or whatever boot logo you have) press and hold vol down then press power button (home key is not really needed like the video ) . it also works on stock rom if you have a recovery installed.
note that it won't work at the early bootup when the lg logo appears or when android is booted and ready.

Thanks a lot ! You almost saved my life ! USB PC connexion don't work, I couldn't do anything else than achieving booting recovery without adb.

It takes me in safe mode, i'm not even sure what it is (I guess is something similar to window's? It has less apps when I am in safe mode!
I'm not sure what to do, I tried to reboot in recovery mode with the ROM manager but it doesn't work (nothing of the ROM manager works actually).
Any ideas on what safe mode is?
Thanks!
UPDATE:
I tried this app to reboot in recovery mode
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.siriusapplications.quickboot&hl=en
It rebooted the phone, the android robot showed up with some stuff turning in the stomach (like this: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/76/Android_Update_Screen.JPG) and then it turned on normally except that all my data now is gone (which is not a problem since I wanted to wipe it from the recovery mode, the problem is that I still can't get into recovery mode!
P.S.: it wouldn't let me post normal links because I'm a new member, I hope I didn't break any rule posting them like this! (after all it's not spam!)

Blinking Orange light is means that your battery is fully dead.
Wait until it STOPS blinking than only you will knw whether it is booting or not.

Ok, thanks for help, but i kept it on charging for almost 24 hrs but still it kept on blinking its my fone battery is dead ?
When you got the message " waiting for device" were you in fastboot? This message can happen when your phone is in the main bootloader window instead of being in the fastboot menu, you will need to press the power button once to get it to fastboot before this message will go away.
Try charging it with the wall socket and not the computer also, hold down the power button and volume down button for as long as it takes to get to the bootloader screen. I hope this helps

This might seem obvious, but does it need to be charged? You'll be surprised....put it on the charger for 3 hours then try turning it on again. And make sure you press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Already try ,more than 3 hours...and when press power or power +volume up/down ( i forget), the tablet show massage and menu like in the recovery mode....but after i follow the menu, the tablet wont turn on ....
This is the screen
