My phone after receiving the 4.0.4 update via OTA, to turn off this alone.
I am trying to install a ROM KOR-Release-340 custom on my Samsung GT-S7562 Duos.
I already placed the Superuser and the ROM on the SD, but when I go into recovery mode and try to install the ROM I get the error message:
- Installing: / sdcard/KOR-Release-340.zip
Finding update package ...
Opening update package ...
E: Can not open / sdcard/KOR-Release-340.zip
(bad)
Installation aborted.
What do I fix this?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300.
Few days ago I rooted it and started changing ROM's.
After few days while trying to change ROM via the recovery i'm getting the following message:
Finding update package......
Opening update package......
Verifying update package......
E: failed to verify whole file signature
E: signature verification failed
The last 2 lines in bold red/
Can someone help

Your issue is you lost your custom recovery. That is from stock recovery which will only flash Samsung signed roms.

Is there a way to change the stock recovery.

First of all I rooted my phone with the help of this site and then put into ClockworkMod recovery with the help of Odin with the same site and it appeared the same as it had to be with same version. After that I wiped data,cache and dalvik cache and headed towards installing the zip file of CyanogenMod 10.1 from here which is the same which is given here but when I tried to install it gave me a ERROR : ( Status 7 ) Installation aborted. I tried to find to how to cover this up and found a video on YouTube showing how to remove this error from here and then I did the same and saved the Updater-Script file and tried installing in CWM Recovery mode and it gave me the error of ( Status 6 ) Installation Aborted and when I saw logs it showed

The cm you are using is for galaxy s and not for galaxy s duos. There is no cm yet for galaxy s duos.

Hello everyone.
I really need some help.
So I was rooting and trying to flash Omni rom to my i9100.
Used this root and CWM. http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...lz-cwm6-stock-kernel-cwm6-root-exfat-t1877270
Installed it through stock recovery. Everything was good.
Then i went to make a backup in CWM, it didn't complete.
And then I downloaded omni rom, did a factory reset, wiped dalvik and normal caches.
Then I tried to install it. It stopped and i received an error.
Now I'm in a bootloop. Only seeing Samsung Galaxy s2 logo, then a black screen and that logo again.
After seeing logo 2 times I'm in CWM.
How do I fix this? How do I even flash Omni rom?

I am trying to install a rom on my phone but it's not really working out the way I hoped. I got blockworkmod running on my S3 and I tried to install the carbonROM file for my device. This returned the following message after about 20 seconds of installing:

E: Error in /external_sd/CARBON-KK-NIGHTLY-20141106-1232-i9305.zip
(status 7)
Instalation aborted.
When I tried to install cyanogenmod to the device it didn't do anything, it just imediately returned to the homescreen on clockworkmod.
What can be the problem here and what should I do to be able to use the phone again with any good ROM?
NOTE: I am very new to this stuff, with installing ROMs and rooting my phone.
