how to disable knox security - Samsung Galaxy Mega

i update and rooted my mega to I9200XXUCML1 but knox security not allow to super user and blocked
“SuperSU tried to access system in your device without authorization. This action was blocked”.
how i can disable knox?

Look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2574953
- After reboot the SuperSU stop sometimes, it is installed on system/app and Knox not permit all access at system.
- Then, whit Explorer from Rom I go at extSdCard and touch on superuser.apk and install it. This way the apk is installed on data/app.
- Now we can touch on icon SuperSU, this start and ask us to invalidate Knox. We must say Yes.

tnx but not work for me!

How I Root this Rom whit Knox bootloader and appl:
- First of all I have a appl superuser.apk (SuperSU v1.80) on extSdCard. For now I prefer this version.
- Flash by Odin the i9205-cwm-recovery.tar.md5. Reboot.
- On recovery by Power + Vol-up I flash the UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.80.zip from Chainfire. Thanks @Chainfire . Root but not Busybox.
- Installed Busybox 1.21.1 of Stericson from Play Store. Verified whit "Root Verifier". It's all, we have all root now.

i installed UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.80.zip from recovery.......
then install supersu 1.8 apk....
but show me this message when touch superuser

Hide root DME (Excitor)

Hello,
I wish to install (and use) the application DME Excitor (corporate emails) but it is detecting the root in some way.
I have a i9100 device with cm9.1 (latest stable one) & siyah kernel 5.0.1.
I've also made sure (using ExTweaks) that the kernel is not re-rooting the device every boot.
I've tried to remove the root using "Hide my root" / "ExTweaks" / "SuperSU" - and others that say they will hide the root - so far with no success!!!
Can you please suggest how to prevent DME from detecting my root?
I really don't mind unrooting the device - but please do not suggest me to return to stock!
Any help will be highly appreciated! :good::good::good:

sorry - no success yet
In case you find any way, please let me know
In my case it was a combination of:
1. Install SuperSU only on /data, not on /system - there's an option for that in SuperSU
2. Uncheck "Enable Superuser" in SuperSU settings
3. Reboot device

Did you tried it with DME ?
By default, installing the SuperSU from the play store is in '/data' (you can later change that option in settings to be set on '/system')
Anyway, tried that, didn't worked.
Any help would be highly appreciated. :good:
I wouldn't have posted the solution above if I hadn't tried it first with the program in question (DME). Make sure there's no /system/app/Superuser.apk (by installing SuperSU / Superuser only on /data) and also make sure to uncheck the "Enable Superuser" option within SuperSU.

Hi,
First of all thanks for trying to help.
There's no any Superuser.apk in /system/app/ (that's the first thing I've checked).
And I did made sure to uncheck the "Enable Superuser" option within SuperSU.
Still doesn't work.
If you don't mind me asking, could you please provide me with more details on your firmware?
Which rom are you using (is it Cyanogenmod)?
Special kernel?
CWM ?
Any details would help.
And once again, thanks!
Stock Samsung (XWLSS) firmware rooted via SuperSU CWM method, then uninstalled SuperSU via "Reinstall" option in SuperSU, then install SuperSU from the Play store, then uncheck the "Enable Superuser" option in SuperSU, then reboot. At this point DME will start and ask for credentials.

Thanks for the info.
I was afraid that you would note you're using a rooted stock firmware.
The thing is that by going back to stock rom, there's no need to root it and then unroot it to use the DME (simply use the stock firmware unrooted).
The first post on this thread was a question on how to use the DME on different rom than the stock one (such as CM).
After that being said, I would like to thank you for trying, but this didn't help me, since I wish to use the Cyanogenmod rom and DME together.
If you still have any suggestions on how to use the DME with a non-stock rom, I would be more than happy to hear.
I don't see how running CM is any different than running official. You should check that after disabling Superuser from within SuperSU that there is no "su" binary anywhere within the directories in the PATH variable (i.e. /system/bin or /system/xbin).
Is dual booting a stock/cm setup possible, and would that serve as a "workaround"?
Edit...just thought....even if possible, the dual boot kernel would probably give the game away....

is there any solution at this point? I have cm installed and i want to use dme on my rooted phone...

Can someone please let me know how to install superSU in /data. As If I instal UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.51.zip by using PhilZ-cwm6. It is installed by default in /system.
If I install it using Playstore it does the same got installed in /system. and further conflicts with SU installed by PhilZ-cwm6.
Will appreciate any suitable advice

it is rooted.... i can clean dalvic through cwm recovery but cant gain root permissions I think that part of the stock root manager or something like that is left on the system that denies root permission to other apps but don't know what to do, I have million settings and phone numbers and apps and other stuff that I don't want to lose but titanium backup is not working either..... If I wanted I could have flashed the same rom (it's still on the sd) and I think that would fix it but I don't want another flash if possible

After installing SlimROM 4.3 Build 2, I lost root?
I was originally rooted on the stock 2.1 and had the SuperUser app as well. However, after upgrading, Root Checker says I'm not rooted anymore?
try opening up SU if its not installed and update the binaries if that doesnt work flash the SU zip if your still having errors try going into your settings and grant SU rights to whats needed

Then I tried to install this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.supersu
and it installed but when I open the app, it says:
- I have to update the binaries but updating them fails
- I have to uninstall superUser, but I can't do that anymore because I flashed zip?
Try dirty flashing the rom flash again and wipe dalvik and cache a d reboot then open rom manager and click fix permission from within the app. If that doesn't work download busy box installer that should update your binaries it's weird issue your having
EDIT: i found this for you didn't realize earlier that 4.3 SU is different than before Root access works in another way in 4.3 then it was before. It is disabled by default. If you want to have root access go into your Superuser application or in Settings->Developer options and enable it. Please note as well that currently some third party kernels are around which may break root.

This worked like a charm. Thank you.
Just in case, if anyone makes these changes to their Super User settings, and Super SU bypasses and deny's access automatically, just go back to the settings again and Long Press whatever was denied and "Allow" it.
Another tip, I personally just went ahead and clicked on Auto-Allow so I don't have to go back to the settings so much.

Can't install superuser

Hello. I have three devices:
Motorola defy
Nexus 10
Nexus 5
All can't install superuser, but superSU all work perfectly. The problem is everytime I tried installing superuser it says binaries not updated. I reinstall it again and again even by flashing its zip it's still the same thing.
Is that because my custom recovery is TWRP not CWM?
The reason I'd like to switch to superuser from SuperSU is that I think root program really needs to be open source.
Open supersu and below click on switch to another super user app and open superuser and update the binaries

That's what I've done many times. It doesn't update the binaries even if I flash the zip 10 times.
Try this manual method
First use any root explorer
delete- /system /app/superSU.or superruser app
delete- /system/bin/su and /system/xbin/su
Go in recovery, wipe caches and flash root.
I have the same problem, can´t switch from supersu to superuser.
When you say 'flash root', could you send me a link, in which superuser is included, and not supersu?
I can only find some with supersu
try this link, a little dated, but might get you there...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1742522

Flashback the Cm12 zip.
CM12 Su binary is outdated and not work in some of Root apps E.G Foldermount, etc so it requires SuperSu.. If u want this type apps work flash The SuperSu Zip. You can download from chainfire SuperSu xda thread..
