[Q] How Does the Google Play Store Package Create Restrictions??

This is my first post, so hope to get some good replies here .
Lots of Android users complain about a few issues related to Google Play.
a) country restrictions
b) access to paid apps
c) access to "device-specific" apps
For me, I'm really curious about how the Google Play app is creating these restrictions. I've noticed that Deeco7 and xinfinityoO have created mods to the stock APK in order to help people get around these restrictions and access more apps.
But how is Google Play specifically running its restrictions? I know one small part of device authentication comes from build.prop's ro.build.fingerprint. But does anybody have a good explanation for the overall restriction/authentication process? What is it about apps like MarketEnabler that allow (or not be able to allow) devices to circumvent Google Play restrictions?
Officially, manufacturer firmware builds need to pass Google CTS tests in order to get a "license" to use Google Play. Not sure if anyone knows whether or not an authentication key is signed for a particular device once it passes CTS, and if that plays a role in granting specific Google Play app access.
Look forward to any helpful facts.

Is there any way to access google market/play without a smartphone ?

Hello
My question is:
Is there any way to access google market/play without a smartphone?
Because there are people out there, that do not like to synchronize their mobile phones to google or don't want google to see their behaviour and more on smartphones.
A while ago I read something about a small team that could get access to the market throught the sdk or combined with it.
However, if someone allready did it, I would be thankful to get some more information about it.
You can go to the website.
There is also an unofficial API and a few applications for Java and Win32 to download apks with your market profile.
Web browser, tinfoil hat optional.
I'm using Real Apk Leecher tool for windows but keep in mind that this is against the google rules...
Maybe try play.google.com?

Click to collapse
He wants the apk, at play.google.com you can only login with your gmail account and send the apps to your phone instead of getting the apk's to your pc :/
thanks for the tips!!
any other suggestions?
theres a whole host of other sites you can use, if you type the app name in google
it will probably direct you to the play store first then give you options of other sites to choose from where you can download them . . mainly if the apps are free though
http://download.pandaapp.com/
^^ that is a site i've used a couple of times.
transfer the app onto your and use a file manger like Astro to install.

Using chromecast without google play service api

Hello,
i am a long time cyanogenmod user without any google services installed. It seems like chromecast is just possible to be used with google play service api. There are some tools (UniefiedNlp, NOGAPPS) replacing parts of google api but it does not seem like its working with chromecast.
Is there any chance to get a chromecast work without installing google software?
I know from my own experiences that in general a chromecast can work without google services. So this is not impossible what you are asking for. But i am sorry i have no idea about android apps capable of doing that ...

How to associate APK install/IAP with a specific Google account?

I have a device with multiple Google accounts ([email protected], [email protected]). They are registered to different countries in Google Play.
I need to install Some Amazing App and once installed, do an in-app purchase using the Google Play balance from [email protected].
I can't install the app through Google Play using [email protected] due to censorship restrictions in the country [email protected] is registered to - it's possible to install the app in that country, it just requires extra verification that I'm not able to complete. Installing through play.google.com doesn't help since the same verification process is required either way.
So I download the Some Amazing App APK from an online mirror and install it. I start the in-app purchase process, and it directs me to pay using [email protected] with no option of switching to the other account.
Removing [email protected] from the device would work in theory, but that account is used for everything. [email protected] is only used for this specific app. Even temporarily removing [email protected] would be too disruptive.
The device is rooted stock Android 9.
I'm listing some potential solutions I've come across that may help others in this same situation. I'd still like a cleaner solution that can be done without another device.
- Use an old phone. Remove all other Google accounts from it except the one you want to use.
- Use an emulator. Same idea as above.
- Use an "app cloner". I don't believe this actually works though. I tried this approach and could not get any in-app purchases to work from within a cloned app. Perhaps if you install the app cloner from [email protected] then the cloned app will also think it is installed from that account, but I have no evidence to suggest that.
Edit: I tried using VMOS, an Android-on-Android emulator. In short, it worked until the final step. After pressing "Buy", a "Transaction cannot be completed" error was returned. However, when I tried on an old phone I got the same error (see next paragraph). So VMOS very well could be sufficient for this purpose.
My eventual solution was to use an old phone and only add [email protected] to that device. I initially got the "Transaction cannot be completed" error. I contacted Google Play live chat and after some back and forth they updated my account and I was able to complete the transaction.
TL;DR: Try VMOS, it will probably work. If it doesn't, use an old phone.

MITMproxy - how to get working with apps?

Hello,
I want to inspect some traffic from one specific app and found this blog post https://medium.com/@gaikwadchetan93...rk-traffic-via-mitm-proxy-part-1-886f6324f705
The MITM Proxy is working fine with HTTP and also HTTPS in Chrome, but not in other Apps.
I've found out, that since Android Nougat no certificates from user store will be trusted and in the blogpost he wrote to edit res/xml/network_security_config.xml.
But how do I do this? I didn't developed this app, I've downloaded it from play store.
I think i have to use a rooted phone, whats no problem, but how to I do this.
How do I edit the res/xml/network_security_config.xml or is it possible to move the certificate from user to system store?
Thank you for your Help
