Has anyone got that game working with our phones yet? if so how well does it run?
It's not even out yet.
I don't see it on the android market, are you?

In the comments several people have mentioned the S II, and one mentioned they could run THD games with no visual drawbacks.
I'd say looking for Tegra openGL emulator is worth a shot OP.

Gta3 works perfectly here. However, I did run into some issues at the first time installing it: somehow it did not fully complete the downloading and installing of game assets, so I missed most sound effects, and I can only think other problems would arise later on. Re-installing the app and re-downloading the game files fixed the issue for me
So please check your install!

Those are actually my worst fears, eventually android OS will face even more fragmentation when manufacturers release tablets with samsung exynos 5520 and snapdragon S4 SoC's. Until google releases a new API standard for gaming, those compatibility issues will remain and even grow. Same thing happened back in 1995 when every video card manufacturer was pushing their own 3d hardware acceleration solution for gaming(3dfx Glide, S3 virge(S3D), OpenGL, nvidia riva 128, matrox mystique, ATI rage II, rendition verite, Tseng et6000, 3d Labs, PowerVR, number nine) until microsoft released direct3D API.
Do you know what happened right after directx was released? only companies survived nvidia and ATI(Amd), matrox just abandoned the gaming race and remain in vertical markets.
At the end, competition is good for the customers, what we really Don't want to see after we buy an expensive tablet is the fact tablet manufacturers might just phase out/discontinue a product and/or software developers just turn their backs to new SoC's not releasing software updates for the new proprietary platform.
Yea but tegra 3 is coming in a lot devices in the feature... Plus nvidia always making good stuff.. Im sure all this games are gonna get an update.
My t-989 at the beginnig a lot games didnt work but now a lot do work.

Gonna pick up Asphalt, Dark Knight, and spiderman. Hope they run alright.
Edit:
Okay, maybe not all the gameloft library is compatible. But most of it is now. Backstab, Dungeon Hunter, Gangstar, are all good to go. Few older titles like Nova 2 still not getting TF300 love.
Thanks, asphalt 7 is still ugly though

Not sure about those games. I just bought Spiderman and it's working alright.
And my playstore in Korea says that 9mm is still not compatible. But Backstab is listed as compatible.
Might be because of my specific playstore market that 9mm is not listed as compatible. The only one they have listed for me here is a Korean listing. They do the same for Backstab, but they have 2 listings, one in English one in Korean. The Korean one isn't listed as compatible for the TF300 but the English listing says it is.
Edit: LoL, just found a Korean app company that looks like they are stealing everyone's apps. Found a few gameloft and EA titles. They got Deadspace on there. Pretty sure EA isn't trying to sell that one for free on the appstore.

Asphalt 6 and Dungeon Hunter 3 are both listed as compatible in the market for the TF300. Perhaps there are some differences in the markets in our regions.
And I did correct the OP and noted that a few titles were still not listed as compatible.

Dunno why but all gameloft games are set on medium by default, and only after editing the config fils in the obb (If I manage to find out what does what and which one is the config file in the first place) can look like on the ios counterpats...dunno why stupid gameloft puts our device in the medium cathegory, im playing doom 3 for ****s sake on it, not some retarded ganstar rio with medium graphics
i can run most of the gameloft's games,
but they all seem to be laggy on my tf300,
especially NOVA3, its almost unplayable, does anyone know a way to fix this???
I think theres no way to fix it. Gameloft sucks because they never optimize their games for Android
Tried asphalt 7: great graphics, no lag BUT: the main menu, speedometer, nitro, brake, etc look like sh*t

EDIT:
Gameloft released an update today that fixed most of the Tegra lag that most of us were running into. I'm glad to see the company responding to criticism.
OP:
Gameloft's much-anticipated foray into the world of Unreal graphics was released today... and it absolutely sucks on the TF201 with JB. It is so laggy that it is almost unplayable.
If you've got $7 bucks to spend on an action/adventure game, go with Horn.
Runs very smooth with ics oced to 1.7ghz. Some textures could be better upclose but is looking good overall and no lag.

I actually think gameloft intentionally makes it run bad on tegra3 because they don't want tegra zone to get big and successful. Its infuriating!

I've got to say that it's a good thing that they had this updated for Tegra, but I've noticed that they've disabled all the shader graphics and sword swinging effects for the Tegra version, take a look at this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Q051U1nzjM&feature=youtube_gdata_player and notice the effects when the player swings the sword
Edit;
As from the Note 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avQPCv9ki8k&feature=youtube_gdata_player full graphics are enabled as well, so it's just for the Tegra 3 that gameloft has disabled special effects
like it
make fun
See, this is the issue with the Tegra3 SoC. On one hand you have some great games developed for it (mainly by Madfinger) but on the other hand, other developers are taking effects out of their games in order to get their content to play smoothly on Tegra3 devices.

Really, one core? Which CPU monitor are you using? That seems really kind of ridiculous since all Android phones made in the last 2 years have 2 cores. The only devices that I know of that's come out in the last year that has a single core is the Intel based ones.
Anyone know if Wild Blood supports sixaxxis/ps3 controller natively? I recently downloaded Dungeon Hunter 3 and it works flawlessly with a PS3 Controller (i'm not rooted!). Thanks in advance for anyone who answers!

I've got a Logitech F710 that works with most games that support controllers natively, but it doesn't work on Wild Blood.
The Play Store lists GTA: Vice City as not compatible with my LG-E970. Yet, GTA: III is compatible, and Vice City is even it is compatible with my Acer A500 with a measly Tegra 2. I can't for the life of me understand why this game wouldn't be compatible with the OG.
Anyone have any insight into this?
Not sure either. My tegra2 will play Sims 3 but my LGOG won't /:
I think it's the company that releases the apps. They probably block certain devices. Not sure why though

The most confusing thing about this is that it's compatible with the Nexus 4 ! It's literally the exact same hardware, creating a port seems like an extremely easy task for Rockstar to do. Perhaps LG has to communicate with the publishers, regardless it's very disappointing to know that my superior phone can't run the same games my friends can for no valid reason.
Anyone think a build.prop edit would change that problem?
This is the email I got from rockstar last week
Hello Xorrito,
We apologize for the long response time on your support ticket.
Unfortunately your device is currently not officially supported. A list of officially supported devices can be found at
Due to the number of devices currently on the market, it is difficult to verify the compatibility of all devices. We are currently in the process of testing new devices, and will make GTA available for download to these devices when testing is confirmed as working properly.
We recommend staying tuned to this article and official Rockstar Games press releases such as rockstargames.com/newswire for the definitive updated list of supported devices. This way you will be alerted if your device does become officially supported in the future.
We apologize for this inconvenience and if you have any further questions, comments or concerns feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help in any way we possibly can.
Cheers,
Brad

Xorro78, thanks for sharing that email. It's kind of weird Rockstar wouldn't test the comparability with our flagship phone. Hopefully soon.
MrZim4, if you try a build.prop edit please let us know the outcome. I'm guessing it'll work as long as it tricks the Play Store into thinking the OG is an N4.

Have you tried changing build.prop to a different or similar LG or another android phone/tablet that is compatible with this game that also has similar hardware I would almost bet the dual core snap dragon android phones will work just edit the device name in build.prop unfortunately they don't update the device compatibility fast enough per app/game but this mod should work, it has in the past say for example to play certain games on the HTC one x I had to change device name to replicate another android I think the HTC one s and compatibility issue went away in market. I'm actually looking to do this for gameloft live which lol is not compatible with this device but will work.
