Sure, from a development standpoint anything is appreciated, but to preview a release with no links, indecipherable screenshots and a line of question marks isn't helpful whatsoever.

He is speaking in his native language then using Google translate to translate to English for us. Those who can read his native language and English can correct Google translate if something got messed up in translation.
I find that method best, as it shows he is trying to follow the English only rule, but an automated translator can always have errors, so it is best to have both up there I case something got translated incorrectly.
The image he posted was on a stock HTC butterfly with his language. No real way to have Google translate it. But version numbers and "sense 5.5" stayed in English...

I didn't slam him, I asked for clarification. He could write a better OP regardless of his language. There is no link, no description (thread title not counting). Also "coming soon" threads have been frowned upon for some time by the mods because of the chaos they create. I understand people are gonna slowly come out of the woodwork and find comfort in labeling me the bad guy on this so I'm gonna take your advice and split. Enjoy your picture?

Hey guys.
I'm not the only one among my friends who has the play anymore. I used to be cool person when i showed them some emulators and stuff. Yes my friends are r-tards and didn't know how to get emulators and so on. bla bla bla.
What I'm trying to say is that i wanna do something cool with my xPlay. A hack, a mod or anything like that. I wanna be able to say "Oh yeah? but can your play do THIS?!". And no I'm not gay or anything, just trying to have some fun with my friends.
I'm one 2.3.3 and rooted. And that's pretty much it.
So do you guys have any cool suggestions?

Well unless you are suggesting that you are going to develop something (say a screen-sharing over USB-Debug kernel module and app controls to PC) Some physical mod or theming/app thing isn't really Dev work.
Development (to my knowledge, correct me if I'm wrong) is more for OS, kernel, unlocking, and low-level stuff. Possibly for app/code development of an app or module that requires lots of Device specific coding. Beyond that, it should be in General, or possibly in the Apps/Themes section.

Or themes and apps, generally the only people that should post in the android development section are devs themselves, thats so its easy for people to find roms/mods/hacks ect if the section is free from questions

Like for example: I had an iphone before, and you couldn't use multitasking on it (like 1,5 years ago), but with the help of some mods and jailbreak you could. That's the type of stuff i'm looking for, cool modification. AND THATS why I posted this thread here in the development part of the forum. I know it was wrong because i'm writing a question, but maybe mods will let this one slip for a change

Theres a thread in themes and apps called android windows phone 7. Its pretty cool try it out, takes a little work to get it on your phone but I bet your friends dont have it. Good alternative if your bootlocker is locked

It work's 100% amazing no problem's i'll report with a review tommorrow via PM/Thread. I did alot of my own change's to the stock ROM because it's private use but the stock one work's just as great.

Make it a thread, I just flashed that ROM today and so far it's been pretty damn smooth so I'm interested to see what other users think about it too
I'm interested to see what they think of it as well, i hope more users download it and test it out because it's a great rom. I PM'ed him to ask him if i could release a remix of it with my own little tweak's and removal of a few things

That's the same as the link in post 4, xboarder has removed the download to it, so that doesn't work either.

That other member had his own thread (where he may have or may not have) taken from xb and the thread was deleted not long before this was posted. Seems weird to me. Maybe I'm just paranoid.
There's also been quite a few posts by people with one post asking VERY noobish questions and never posting again... There's been a few posts that have came up from basically spam accounts.

...it's based on Leedroids current HC Base, but it could/should also work on older ones.
I really spent painful hours to get this baby here working.
As you noticed theres no APM yet on HC, the reason is, that the code changed on HC and I had to rewrite the APM completly by myself.

Hmm.. I think most view users are USA because of the fire sales.. And since it is CDMA Wimax it originated in US for Sprint. Flyer was sold worldwide.
A couple months back when the major sales for the view ($230-250 US) were happening, there were a lot of people around. Now some of the developers have moved out or pursued different projects..
Enough story telling, I'm glad you brought this much needed feature in here.

It is in English. His screen shots are not in English because his language settings are not english.

LOL. language settings are in completely different part of the OS and mods such as this are not dependent upon which language you have.

... You are wrong m8. Ressoucres from framework-res and com. Htc.Resources.apk are used by all jars files and also some a apks.
.. So its for android.policy.jar, the place of the apm mod the same.
Ressource strings are in com.htc.resources. Apk.

Can this be added to a running setup (I'm on rooted stock HC) or does this need to be put in a rom?
Should this work on any Honeycomb ROM, to include the stock one? I'm running that, with a different kernel, s off and rooted of course.

but you can add or remove language settings in the default.xml I thought? which is in the resources? I thought that from there you can add support for things such as arabic. Must be more to it that I didn't know, lol. thanks for clarifying.
