If you are looking for the guide, go to this page and read it carefully. Developing is not easy. It's like chemistry to non-chemist, so you need to start doing some simple things and learn or better go to some computer science school.

i only know gw basic programming but i know its not useful as android developement requires c++
Anything without programming ?
i am learning c++ but even if I learned where can I start to port
You can always follow tutorials .. it takes long time for u than those with programming knowledge... There is everthing in net what u need to know..... I learned web designing n photoshopping myself without any multimedia or programming knowlege( i'm in medical field)... i always follow specific tutorial for evertime i need to do something.. i had the opportunity to be an admin with full power of a forum which still i'm, and access to do all work for it where i did all work n never given any work for proffessionals..
So best way is actually start doing it rather than trying to learn n then do it... trial n error method is best way for those who dont have any knowledge or experience... Now i'm thinking of touching my hand in Android let me see

You have to dig into it... As google's tutorials say- You start with some .apk in the category of ur interest by modifying n learning to develope to ur ideas.... Dont try first of all to develope an app from scratch.. it meant for Those who have indepth knowledge....

Hi Chris my name is Andrew and i might be able to give you some basic info and guidelines. First i would suggest using a ROM kitchen for basic ROM modding. I would recommend using Dsixda's ROM kitchen http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633246 .When you feel confident that you can get on tothe more complex stuff you can check my tutorial about compiling from source code http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1667551 .After you get over that then the Internet should become your mentor in advanced source code editing (most of the time anyway but you shouldn't feel shy about asking something if unclear)

Android App Development beginner's Guide

Dear All,
I am very new to this and have never developed any Android App before and no knowledge of Java.
Where should i start the tutorial for Android App Development ?
If you could suggest a good guide or online tutorial, that would be of great help.
Thank you all for your help,
Kind regards,
Naren
Do you known any Object Oriented Programming language? If not, then start with that, Java is easy and simple. Afterwards you can move to Android development. You could start digging into Android development right away, but I believe you will get lost. So, one step at a time.

[Q] Where I begin to build my Lollipop rom?

Hi boy,
I want to create my own custom rom (for nexus 4),nothing complicated (for now ).
Here there are a lot of big developers that i I respect a lot and for this i want to ask you the process I have to do or guides that I follow.
In this week I've find a lot of tutorial but i don't know if they are compatible with lollipop and the tests I've done have all gone wrong.
If one of you show me a guide to follow, it would follow having at least make sure to get the results and did not waste time to have followed a guide incompatible or old.
I know C#, java and C but i can study other languages.
I apologize if you find this post trivial, is that I really want to learn but i'm only 17 years old and it is not easy to understand English.
I rely on you, thanks! :fingers-crossed:
