Bluetooth customization - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

I am currently running cm11(12/17) and am using an LG Tone+ bluetooth headset. Is there a way or am app that will let me customize the bluetooth settings so my phone's speaker will ring so well as the headset? Currently it will only ring on the headset. Also, I would like media to automatically play out of headset jack instead of bluetooth (I hook my car stereo to the headset jack and have to manually disable media in the bluetooth settings for this to work). If I could just be pointed in the right direction I can probably figure it out.

Bluetooth Audio

How do I get all audio on my Verizon Touch Pro to play through my bluetooth earpiece?
With my Motorola Q, I connected the bluetooth device, it changed to a Headset profile and all audio (tcpmp, windows media, etc) played through the bluetooth device.
When I connect the same bluetooth earpice to my Touch Pro, the only time it activates is if I hit voice command or once a call is connected.
I also have bluetooth stereo headphones with that stereo profile and those do get audio from Windows Media player.
How do I get audio from TCPMP/Windows Media to play through the Hands Free profile that the bluetooth earpieces I have use?
Anyone able to help with this? I'm disappointed that I can't listen to audio through a bluetooth headset with the hands-free profile.
There has to be a simple fix.
Tap and hold the name of the headset and tap 'Set as Wireless Stereo.'
That option is grayed out for my mono headsets.
Any other ideas?

that is because your headset is not a2dp. what you did before was just have the crappy audio go across your headset without true a2dp so the sound was pretty bad. i have jabra bt8010 and sometimes i have to refresh the option on my headset to set wireless stereo. if i don't, the audio is piss poor because i'm just piggy backing ontop of the voice command audio stream.

Yes, I understand that.
But, my question is how can I get audio to come through my mono bluetooth headset when it's connected? On my Motorola Q, ALL audio routed through the headset when it was connected. On the TP, only if I start voice command or make a call does audio get sent to the headset.
I use the headset to listen to podcasts, so that's what I'm looking for.
I did find a program that would route all audio through the headset, but I do have to run it each time I connect the headset. I suppose that will suffice though.

Using Bluetooth speakerphone and 3.5mm jack simultaneously

OK so here's what I want to do.
I'm currently my Hero as a kar kit by plugging it in via my cars aux input. I also permanently use my phone to play my favorite tunes via the aux input. So when I get a call the music pauses and continues when I'm done talking.
I'm now interested in buying a bluetooth speakerphone as the hero does not have echo cancellation and audio calls echo's back horribly in my car.
Will I be able to pair the bluetooth speakerphone/headset and have music playing via the 3.5mm jack at the same time? Will calls be handled via the Bluetooth device or the audio jack?
Maybe you could ask a Mod to move this to General -> Q&As? It isn't Hero specific & you could get a bigger audience. You should mention what version of Android you'll be running though.

Ah ok, thanks for the tip.
I went ahead and bought the Bluetooth speaker without knowing the outcome. When the phone is plugged into the 3.5mm jack a headphone icon is displayed. When the bluetooth device is connected, a different bluetooth paired icon is displayed.
So what happens is exactly what I wanted - When listening to music via the 3.5mm the audio is played via the car stereo. When a call comes in the music gets paused and the audio get routed the bluetooth speaker.
Inexpensive and simple car-kit solution.
Glad you got a result - & that you posted on it
What kit did you buy to do this? I am looking to do the same!

Bluetooth music player

Is there an app that will let you play music from your phone on your car using a bluetooth connection? Like is there a way to play all phone audio on your car via bluetooth rather than just call audio?

No app can change this, the thing is your car stereo has to support the A2DP bluetooth profile, if you do not have a "bluetooth audio" option and only "telephone" on your car stereo then it only supports the "headset" profile, for example I have a pioneer bt-8000 car stereo, it supports both a2dp and headset profiles, I set my car stereo to "bt audio" then all audio OTHER than phone audio comes through car stereo, then if a call is initiated inbound or outbound, the car stereo automatically switches to phone, then when disconnected back to bt audio

I did however forget one way that this could be possible without the A2DP profile, not sure if this exists for our phone, but a hack could be made on the phone that would force all audio through the headset profile on the phone itself, but like I said, I haven't seen this hack for our phones

There's an app in the Market called Super Bt Mono Froyo that does exactly that - routes all audio from phone to Bluetooth device using headset profile. The quality pretty much sucks for music though - kinda like if you'd listen to music over GSM phone connection. I personally use it for navigation prompts when riding my motorcycle. If you want decent quality - you need A2DP.

Auto-switch from Bluetooth media audio to car dock?

I'm running the current CM10.1 nightlies on my old Fascinate.
I use a Plantronics Bluetooth headset that supports various profiles - represented in the JB 4.2.2 Bluetooth configuration as selectable options for "phone audio" and "media audio".
I usually want the headset configured for both, but when I put the phone in my car dock, I want the media audio redirected to the dock's audio output (via USB).
If I turn off the headset, the audio is configured to route through the dock properly and automatically... But I still wish to use the headset for phone audio when the phone is docked. If I manually configure the headset settings for only phone audio, that works too - but what a hassle going in and out of my Bluetooth configuration before and after each docking operation .
Any ideas on a way to automate this? Anyone know of a slick app that can handle this?

So it seems that within a day of my asking the question, djp952 goes and adds a patch to GeeWiz 4.3: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39032883 to do exactly this. Amazing!

[Q] Sound output in speaker even with bluetooth headset connected

Hello, I have a Nexus 4 with stock Android 4.4.2, and I use a Motorola S305 as bluetooth headset.
When I'm using the headset I still can listen the notifications and ringtones in the phone speakers. Is there a way to cut the sound output of speakers and put to ringtones and notifications sounds only in bluetooth headset?
Thanks!
