Hi All,
This is my first post ever to any Forum. Please excuse if any mistakes.
I am planning to flash my Galaxy Grand I9082 with Factory image JDQ39 4.2.2. I have everything in place along with the installation package and Backup of current ROM. I tried to look for many places if any one has tried this or has reported any issues. But sadly , was not able to find any.
So humbly request you to please help me with my decision.

After no one showing any interest in Galaxy Grand Duos i9082 being updated to Stock 4.2.2, finally I made an attempt.
First it was not detecting .tgz file (stock ROM is with tgz extension). Downloaded 7zip - extracted and then created a zip file. Now it detected the file and I could see it in the list. Sadly when I tried to update, it failed with a Warning.
So can any one throw some light here and help ???
Or suggest me any custom ROM for Galaxy Grand Duos i9082.
Finally installed CM10.1. Had few issues with contacts and restore - resolved now. I am still having one issue. Mobile data connection shows E as connected, but when I try to access Google Play, it says no connection... Could any one please help me with this ???
i have rooted my Samsung Galaxy y duos lite[GT-S5302] , and installed jellybean 4.2 , i could not connect my device to computer and even samsung kies displays : device is taking long time fo responding , how to reinstall 2.3.6 gingerbread ? or any other options?? Please help
from where you installed jellybean??

there isn't even a stable 4.0 rom, let alone 4.2, so that would be a themed 2.3.6 rom then?

he didn't, it's themed 2.3.6
Kies / nandroid backup / samsung help centre
@mjz2cool is correct..
This device simply dont have any CM / ICS Rom...
Then how did he flashed JB Rom ?

Use Odin
First I would like to tell you that there is no Jellybean for your device........There is a port of Cyanogen Mod 9 which is unstable..........
So the ROM which you installed may be a themed Jellybean i.e. In settings it may show 4.1/2/3.x and look like JB but its not real JB .........
You might have installed ROMS like JellyBlast etc.....
So if you want to revert to stock then you might have to flash the stock firmware using Odin.........
But in your case your PC cant detect your phone so you have to restore CWM backup in case you had it......
Otherwise you might install other Custom Rom and see if the problem persist .......
In case your PC can detect your device then you can flash stock using Odin if you want to............

hey ppl i m using a samsung galaxy ace GT-S5830i and i wqant to update my mob to XXMC firmare but everywhere i get single package firmware and i cant flash it to my mob so plz can anyone just give me the links to multipackage firmware (i have tried splitFUS bt didnt work) plz help ppl and 1 more thing i just checked for firmware update and i gt about 6.9 mb of update so i downloaded it and then tried to install it but still it wasnt installed properly i was on stock rom with stock kernel and have rooted my mobile phone
I had a Korean Samsung Galaxy Note Shv e160 k with android version 2.3.7 Gingerbread. I just searched for official firmware update and found latest update of Jellybean 4.1.2 . I downloaded it from Mediafire and flash it using odin 3.07. flashing was successful but when the phone restarted, I noticed that the finger touch was not working. But when I used s-pen it worked correctly. Everything was alright accept the finger touch.
I was disappointed . I surfed google for solution but couldn't found any issue related to this.
I downloaded the firmware again from MEGA. But same problem arise.
What to do ??Anyone plzz help me ....!!!!

Well i have a galaxy grand 2 G7102 i was in 4.3 algerian firmware but wifi doesn't work t says save, secure everytime, so i tried flashing 4.4.2 kitkat flash succesful in odin but 1hour to boot and the screen doesn't work -_- so i used a method in this forum and succesfuly got back to 4.3 (THAILAND) G7102DXUANG4 and the phone works perfectly exept wifi again :/
in sammobile for my country ALGERIA they stopped in 4.3 and everytime i try to flash another firmware 4.3 it says fail fused (2) > binary (1) , and when i try flashing 4.4 the screen doesn't work and 1hour to boot ( i tried various official firmwares from sammobile)
any ideas or solutions ?

me too have this problem i flashed Stock ROM After Many Time But WIFI Not Working I dont know what is the reason !
