Looking through the posts in this forum, it seems half the topics are about the Dell Venue Phone, a phone I can't even find on the Dell site.
All the newer topics seem to be on the Dell Venue 7/8 tablets, though it's not clear in some cases.
Please separate these topics, so people don't brick their devices, using instructions that were made for an old cell phone, not the new tablet.
99% of the topics about the tablet have "venue 7" or "venue 8" in the title. It'd be a users mistake to not read the title.

I think there should be a separate forum for Venue tablets since this thread was not only originally dedicated to Venue phones but is also located in the low activity section of the forum. I think there needs to be a separate section for these new tablets.
There's a section to request a device I forgot where but its gonna be hard considering we only have root.

I just got the laptop dock and I was wondering if there were any hacks or things of the nature that would allow me to get more out of it

Search for webtop hacks in android development. Post your questions in those threads. Closing thread since you need to search first before asking...

I ask because it is difficult to differentiate between the models in the prime forum sometimes when simply looking at topic titles, plus it is technicaly not a Prime anyway by name...not sure what the requirements are for new sections.
Considering getting the Infinty and reading up on it where I can...xda seemed like a logical choice as well

I cannot find an Infinity forum using a browser on my desktop but strangely there is an Infinity forum that I can access with my tablet using the xda premium app. It appears to be available but I cannot find a link to it on the main browser site.

Thanks to both of you...tried the normal search but others in the linked thread made me understand why I couldn't find it.

It's available now for your nexus 7!, native ubuntu linux (not inside android).
Keep in mind that installing this means android will be removed(non dualboot).
It also might wipe you internal storage.
Going to test it myself now, I'll update this post when I know more (I'll include pictures etc)

There are threads about this already in the Nexus 7 general forum.. This is a development forum.
This isn't anywhere even close to Original Development and there has already been about 5 threads made on this.

It cant be ported just like that, nor will the 2011 phones be able to run it. Its not android, its a brand new operating system.
Wrong thread..its development section not discussion
Lol...there is already 2 threads in general forum about the same topic.....search before posting anything....
Dev forum is not for discussions...
