I have just updated my I9300 to JB 4.3
And ofcoarse I wanted root again so I used cf-auto-root. Now I have this isue, cf-auto-root doesn't install a su binary on JB 4.3
The phone is rooted but I can't install superuser. Did I do something wrong or is this a known isue?
There is a version of SU that can be flashed from a custom recovery, search the forum for a link.

Hi i just got my Galaxy S2
its kernel version is:
2.6.35.7-I9100ZSKF4-CL280225 root at avad-server #22 ZSKF4
i want to root it but should i update the stock rom to the latest version before rooting (using kies) or should i just root it and flash the KE7 Rom?
Either but best to update to latest stock rom and LATEST CWM + ROOT which is either KF2 or KF4 ..
As your Kernel is KF4 why downgrade to KE7 .

i downloaded PhilZ-cwm6 - Safe Stock Based Kernel and tried to root my Galaxy Note N7000 running stock ICS 4.0.4 and when i tried to root
it showed E: Signature Verification Failed.
Please Help With This a Problem. I am noob and need guidance.

recently i decided to root it so searched google and it guided me to there so i used a root method for firmware I9192XXUAMF7 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2368561
i am new to this so i didnt notice that
i installed the cwm recovery then rooted phone but i lost wifi
i think because i installed a root for a different firmware than i have
i think i must install the I9192XXUAMF7 firmware then root again to resolve the problem. but i will be very happy if you can resolve the problem without downgrading firmware
can you generate -if ''generate'' is the right word- a root method for my existing firmware I9192XXUAMI1 so i can root my phone again with the right root files
note : i am still rooted and i have xposed framework and terminal emulater installed if that help

I have a SS Galaxy Note 10.1 - GT-N8010 running Android 4.1.2.
I rooted it via CF Auto root via odin; it now has SU permissions and root has been confirmed by root checker.
I tried to install clockwork mod - to no avail.
What do I need to do now to get a custom rom installed; say Cyanogen mod?
