Before this on stock rom, everthing is okay. My network signal network still available.
After i flash CM11, it showed no service on my signal. EMEI and baseband still there.
Any solution ? Sorry for my english. Thanks
Check the APN's, are they all there and set as they should be? If not, manually edit them and add them as you need. What ROM did you flash anyway?

Hi guys, i've got an S5830 it was an italian TIM phone, i flashed 2.3.3 ad it worked, after that i flashed 2.3.4 S5830XXKPH , from that moment i can't use data connection 2g/3g nor wi-fi... it didn't surf at all... on the display near the signal bar 2g or 3g aren't displayed, wifi is connected, but no internet... i reflashed any of the 2.3.3 firmware on samfirmware but nothing change... it seems that packet data doesn't work at all... someone know some workaround?
And sorry for my english... i find some simil problem on forum, but no one solve my issue...

Hey, all good. Just type by hand your mobile provider APN settings(Settings-Wireless...-Mobile Net..-Access Po..-Then push the menu button-New APN-Then type in Name what ever you want and in APN exactly what it must be). If you dont know the APN, just call your provider and ask the APN.

Here I have a problem with the 3G. When I'm on a Custom Rom, my network shows H and sometimes 3G, but not 3G+.
As against when I put the original ROM, my network shows 3G and sometimes 3G+.
I tried several custom ROM, and always the same. The APN is identical to the original ROM.
I do not understand. There is a special configuration of my provider (Orange FR)? If so, then I get this configuration to associate it with a Custom Rom?

I have v20g baseband, so im on new baseband.im also a tmobile user from the US...I have upgraded baseband, wifi does work and I can make calls, there is only one problem though, as detailed by the pictures included, you can clearly see the bars, but no 3g/HDMA icon next to the bars....I have tried adding an APN but it never saves...does anyone have any idea how to fix this ?

try to put another operator, forgive for English
what do you mean another operator ? are you talking about another carrier ? **** this sucks, now nothing works.....I just went back to v10e (thinking it's old baseband) no data (mobile) but wifi works......this is pissing me off.....Ive tried v10e and v20g, neither have produced any kind of results, v20g did atleast give me bars...does anyone actually have a fix ?
This a known problem with some SIM cards and operators.
The workaround is to use old baseband with this fix.
so which means for those in newbaseband need downgrade to old baseband for fix (in Nightly).

I've been frequenting XDA and installing custom roms on my phone now since before Christmas :3 and all the developers are amazing!
I am currently running wolf's rom with doomkernel 1133 and have an unlocked BL
My question is regarding the network connectivity with all other roms... I can connect to Rogers network just fine with wolf's and my stock firmware, and despite reading on the CM7 roms that GSM function is working... I'm still unable to connect to any network... Was wondering if anyone else ran into this problem... and if so what can I do to correct it?

Is this not possible to correct? Am I missing something?... I would love to be able to use a CM rom or anything other than Wolf's for a change if someone could assist... Could I be missing something in the flash process?

Sorry should have mentioned that the APN network settings are all there, Rogers Network is showing Im just not able to connect to it... It's appearing as though GSM/HSPA functions of the ROM aren't working...though the ROM states otherwise.

Starting from fresh stock 2.3.6. gingerbread ROM (with no network problems), I installed Touchwiz_Res_V10 from link:

Although every aspect of this ROM works fine there is one problem- my S5830i cant get registered onto my UK network. It sees my network provider (EE) and a bunch of others, but if i manually try and join the EE network (because it doesnt auto join ANY networks) it says I am not allowed/authorised to join the EE network.
If i revert back to the stock 2.3.6 it finds my EE network and joins it automatically without me having to specifiy it, easy as pie.
The IMEI is fine. Baseband is quoted as S5830iXXLA2 on both installs
Are there any known problems with the V10 that interferes with network connectivity that anyone is aware of.
Anyone know how to fix?

try to flash a custom Kernel..it will slove the problem
