I'm on JB from @bibhu059. How do I disable the LED bar when I press the softkeys without any app? Is there any file to replace? I wish the bar would work only for notifications.
Sorry for bad English
Thanks

There is an app available in play store called NIGHT MODE that has an option to disable the harware button lights try that......
Thanks at all but I don't want any app. I want only restore situation before noobcooder's fix for ledbar in jb. Before this fix the bar work like in CM roms (only notification).

Don't think it can be done on a stock ROM.Best route to do this would be to root and use a cooked ROM as they allow greater customization, plus there are themes available for them such a sthe Omega ROM with 15 button toggle and slider or no slider.

i prefer to use on-screen softkey button (navigation bar) home/multitask/back than orignal hardkey ones.
Anyone know there is an existed mod to achieve it ?
[Solved]
Just root, then put this in the build.prop this line:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
Reboot the phone, now you can have a navigation bar on the screen. Have fun.
Is there a way to put the back button on the left? I'm used to it being on the left.

You need to recompile it and change the value of dimens.xml inside framework1\res\values\
Why din.t you use button savior app? It works for root/nonroot, with a great ui and customization

How to install it ?
Copy the SystemUI-V2.apk from this post into system/app and set the permission rw-r-r--
and rename the existing one to SystemUI.apk2
and now rename the new ( V2) one to SystemUI.apk , this will prevent the confilict ( like i encountered , when i disabled the old one and dont renamed the new one !! )
And then reboot

NEWS: New update is on the way
Updated.. you can download it now
Great Job... One more favor though...
I like the new icons on your 1.1 update which was based on stock AOSP ICS icons. But can you also provide another one with percentage? I think its really helpful when charging our phones because through it, we will know if its exactly 100% fully charged. Or maybe, a cool icon with percentage inside it. Thanks a lot. I'm looking forward for your next update too. I hope the 14 toggles are already there. :good:

The navbar color works but there's no change with the statusbar (Nexus 5 4.4.2).
I have attached a logcat when applying the white color for the statusbar.
