Hello,
I have the Sony Xperia Z1 phone and I can receive 1-seg tv signal here in my country.
Recently I've discovered that the Xperia Tablet Z got and update do make it possible to move to 1-seg to Full-Seg signal support.
So I think this was done by software.. It's horrible to watch something in 1-seg in the Z1.. The images are not good.
Anybody had the new app of the Digitla Tv for the Tablet Z for me to try in my Z1..

tentei instalar o aplicativo do Z1 japones, ele funcionou, no início ele reconhece o sinal fullseg, fala por exemplo, na cultura, que tem mais de um canal disponível, depois vai pro 1seg. Acho que é uma limitação por software da sony.
Se eu conseguisse portar o app dp Z1 japones, as bibliotecas e drivers, acho que ia funcionar direitinho no Z1 brasileiro... como não entendo muito de android, ainda estou aprendendo, acho que vai demorar um pouco, mas quando eu tiver mais tempo vou tentar! seria bom mto ter ajuda de quem manja de android, como ainda não conheço mta gente aqui, vou reviver esse tópico, quem sabe alguém ajuda!!! Todos que possuem o Z1 C6943 iriam se beneficiar, principalmente agora na copa >
I tried to install the tv app from the japanese Z1, and it recognize the fullseg signal, some channels shows the fullseg info, but then it goes to the 1seg. I think it's just a software limitation imposed by sony. I wish I had some help to try porting the digital tv app from the japanese Z1. My bet is that we would need the libraries and drivers from the jp Z1 to make it work! Don't have much time right now, but as soon as I have some, I'm going to try again! Would be great to have help from devs.

Existem vários tutoriais aqui no fórum de como instalar custom ROM, basta pesquisar na aba "General". Caso não percebas inglês, existe sempre o Google tradutor que faz o trabalho por ti.
As this is an international forum, the use of English is mandatory, you can speak in another language but you must always include the English translation. There are several tutorials here in the forum of how to install custom ROM, just search in the "General" tab. If you do not understand English, there is always the Google translator that does the work for you.

Tenho um Sony Xperia z3+ modelo E6533 e depois de fazer atualização do sistema android do 5.1.1 para o 6.0.1, QUE FOI SOLICITADO, o smartphone começou a dar um problema: ele reinicia automaticamente ou a bateria cai sendo que ainda possui 70% de carga.
Minha dúvida é saber onde eu consigo o arquivo do ROM 5.1.1 para fazer um downgrade. Por fim, alguém sabe alguma metodologia que pudesse compartilhar comigo. Tenho um problema de saúde no braço e o smartphone é minha ferramenta de trabalho. Como estou com essa pane, estou sem poder exercer minhas atividades.
OBS: já fiz o processo de voltar ao padrão de fábrica, mas não volta para a versão antiga do android, ou seja, o 5.1.1 no caso.

so, i know i will probaly never get an answer, but does anyone know how to downgrade the sony xperia z ultra (model c6843) to kitkat? the touch is broken so i use a mouse. im looking foward (i think its required) to rooting it. so does anyone have this device/have rooted the device/knows a way to root the device OR knows how to downgrade the xperia? thanks! (i also would like if you send me a kitkat rom!, so i can do it myself with odin )
