Also, can this be dirty flashed on top of rooted stock odexed 1.13.651.1?

Shopper can be downloaded from the market if you want a deodexed version. It's really just a google bloat app.

Hi guys if you read the portal (http://www.xda-developers.com/android/google-now-with-voice-search-finally-working-on-ics/) GoogleNow works great on ics and i have put together a nice flash able zip to get the job done Here. I take no credit for the actual application (Done by the guys Here) I just put a flashable zip together.
Instructions:
1. Delete GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk from /system/app
2. Flash Zip
3. Enjoy

I did exactly what the directions said...just copy ALL folders from the blastoid zip without unzipping any of it and paste it all to energyrom zip and flash like a normal Rom. Should work flawlessly. If any issues fix permissions.

It's integrated into your Google search now. Press the google search button and it should have replaced the normal google search...
So I must install the old version first? I press search button but nothing changes.

So with the voice search working Google Now should be the same as on JB devices? Meaning it should have the colourful background?
I had installed it previously with these instructions (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1749045) and then updated with the zip made by the OP. Worked well and looked just like the Google Now on my Nexus 7 (colourful background).
But then I updated my Energy rom version and google now was wiped. Tried to follow the same steps again and I can't replicate the colourful background! it's just the white background. Any ideas?

Edit: This Guy created a list of various commands you can give to GNow.

What can I do to get them back?...Should I flash the ROM again?. Thanks!

Flashed his 23 toggles & the boot menu and although I was able to boot still, SystemUI no longer ran. I had to flash back. Stock JB -- not Nun's deodexed.
And, yes, I see that the post says it's for deodexed only. But I figured I'd give it a shot. The thread also says it's for the Skyrocket.
Edit: I'm a glutton for punishment. I went back and flashed only the powermenu one, and all it managed to do was remove the ripples from my lockscreen. My power and reboot menus were still the same.

Thanks alot for posting this one but it doesnt seem to work on the KIES thru ODIN release ( I even tried re-naming my .odex files to get the deodexed files to work)..too bad as this mod makes a stock rom much more user friendly!
Thanks for this. The extended power menu is worth the d/l. This will help until a good rom is developed.

Thanks a bunch! I needed this. Works great on Nuns JB zip.
Official? So it works on official releases? Or it works on unofficial releases of the official release? Lol
This mod has a bug. Try opening something that does not have a default application.
It will show "Phone" and "Headphones" buttons
instead of
"Always" and "Just Once"
The problem here is the thread by the OP is for a different system that uses a different framework-res.apk than ours.
