1. Turn on the Tablet with out sim card
2. Type *#*#7378423#*#*
3. Select Service info
4. Select SimLock
5. Check where is X
6. If X is on NETWORK and value is different than 0, you can unlock your phone.
7. If it is 0 unlock by code is NOT possible.
The counter is blocked.
The X îs on. NETWORK. The value îs 7. So. What can i do?

From the looks of things, you will have to pay someone to unlock your tablet.. You could try eBay.. Have you unlocked your bootloader ?? Or why not flash unbranded firmware, to see if that unlocks it ??

Thank you means actually clicking the thanks button under my post lol.
So from your above post it don't work flashing or unlocking bootloader, to unlock the carrier lock, it seems like you will have to pay Vodafone to get it unlocked.....

so .... my tablet status is ROOTED ) ... first i make an downgrade to 10.1.1.A.1.307 firmware, second i install the Vroot 1.7.4. and now is rooted. plz tell me what to do to unlock the 4g???
I am no expert but I dont think flashing a different firmware or rooting your phone will unlock it... you simply have to get unlock codes... and I'm pretty much sure you aint getting it for free.

so edit the build.prop with this number, restart your phone, connect it with PC Compagnion and surprise, it says the update is available

oh and follow the "indian"(lol?) method in this forum if you don't have the generic uk firmware before editing build.prop

if you have x10 mini = 1238-0549 (which seems to be your case : E10i )
if you have mini pro = 1238-8536
After modifying the build.prop, shutdown your phone and restart it.
Connect to pc companion and the update notification should apper.
Also verify you have an up-to-date generic firmware as i don't know if branded phones can get the update right now.

creo que da lo mismo el operador por que lo que esta bloqueado es la SIM, yo creo que hay que pasarlo a la version UK, y luego hacerle update.

Well I will explain the Objective of this thread:
Here you can find your movil operator 1.6 firmware (if not here post the one you need and I will TRY to find it), for cases in wich you flashed a firmware on your x10 that isn't from your country or operator, and now your operator has released the 2.1 update, and you want to run your operators firmware in case of any incident with your phone.
Now, the instructions:
1. Download this and extract in any folder of your computer: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=951777 (The credits of this goes to Bin4ry and Androxyde)
2. Download Your Firmware and extract the folder to the same folder where you have the flashtool.
3. Follow this tutorial to create the .tft file: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10881252&postcount=4
4. Follow this tutorial to flash: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=943645
5. Now connect the phone to the PC and run PC Companion or SEUS. If it shows that there is a new software for your phone, follow the instructions and update if you want.
6. Enjoy your phone on Android OS 1.6 or 2.1 with your operator costumization.

You can't flash a D805 stock rom (kdz) on a D802, and there is no reason to do that, are the same roms, just diferent LTE Bands.

That's exactly the point. The 805 model works with Brazilian's LTE band right out the box meanwhile the 802 model I need to access every boot the service menu (3845#…)
If I flash the 805 I could use LTE with made this change automatically.

It won't work. I tried the other way around and the phone had random reboots, and lost all of its radio functions, and even lost the ability to recognize the USB connection. It was a supreme pain in the behind to get it back to a stock D805 ROM. I almost bricked the phone.
You, could, however, try to flash a D805 modem using CWM, just make sure you have a Nandroid backup and the original modem as well, before attempting to do this.

Hi! I have D805 and I tried to flash D802 rom but now my phone reboots and dont have radio signals, and its bricked because I cant flash any D805 rom again the flash process didn't complete! could you give a hand?

The south american phone models is a problem because we isn't have any developing on our phones.

i use TWRP and don´t work , incompability when it´s verificating the models
Ya que somos latinos, no es el primer tema que se hace respecto a esta variante, cualquier version flasheable hecha para el D802 e instalada por custom recovery es compatible con el d805, no asi stock flasheable por lg tools dado que corrompe el baseband y es bastante complicado solucionarlo. Consejo, siempre respaldo, y todo mediante recovery.

Mod Edit: Since we are Latinos, is not the first issue that is made for this variant, any flashable version made for D802 and installed by custom recovery is compatible with the d805, not so stock flashable by lg tools as it corrupts the baseband and is rather complicated fix. Only a few models have unlockable bootloaders which does not pertain to not connecting to carriers you want gsm unlock or also known as sim unlock
Either through the orig carrier or paid service on ebay

You can flash a generic Sony firmware without unlocking the bootloader but that won't sim unlock it. You'll need a code if its network locked, check service menu

Hmmm, I've been sent 4 different "unlock" codes by Vodafone, none of which have worked. How hard is it for them to unlock a network locked phone? Jeez....wish I'd never bought from Vodafone.
