It has minor UI and performance improvements. Battery is completely variable depending on usage. You can just search up a changelog for more details. And yes it is officially available for download now.

I see, Jay, you think I'm a n00b...
I just wanted to start a discussion.
I think I know what I'm talking about mostly...
Just that since fxp130 cm10 there wasn't a ROM I really liked...
And fxp >130 don't have any camera abilities. At least 130 had no preview but it still took pictures.
That's why I posted this...
Stock rom with bloatware removed , xsspeed kernel

Stock .45 NL +Rooted.
Everything works like it should. Even Camera and HDMI
For me With the Latest Firmware
Its Xcream 3 2.0 with Battery Tweak and a little Build.prop Edit
But the best
I think its the MoOded ICS 90.7 (Stoped Dev)

Bringing up the thread to ask again, so far the best rom experience in terms of stability, smoothness, battery life and specially best camera experience.
Also i'd like to know which is the way to go right now, ics or jb roms?

What's some differences in cm10...I've not flashed a cm10 rom yet and I was just curious? Is there any difference in how the UI functions?

No difference in the UI.. just the performance of jelly bean is better
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda app-developers app
CM9: Based on Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4
CM10: Based on Jelly Bean 4.1 - 4..2
Apart from the difference in upgraded Android OS versions, Jelly bean holds a smooth UI with improved notification support and performance. It also adds some cool framework features like the notification dropdown which has been improved significantly. To sum up, if you are willing for stability go for CM9 which can be used as a daily driver but If you want drastic improvements with some bugs to compromise with, choose CM10. On this note, I would also state that bugs are being solved at a speed and so will you get a bugless CM10 soon. Thanks to Rashed, adfad666 & Bytecode.
I tried Rashed's and adfad666 CM10 ROMS and the only difference I found aside of the notification bar was the version number and the countless bugs. ._. !
All jb roms have terrible battery life atm. If you use WiFi a lot that alone is a no go.

Here is a very good link for important features of all android versions (GB, HC, ICS and JB) summarized with visuals:

Hi everyone, I wanna to know what's the benefits of ics update and what's the bad issues?
Can it make incompatible apps on market compatible, does improve battery life?

ics doesn't increase battery life, but decrease it.
Phone app lags like hell. It's really annoying sometimes.
The benefits it's that you can install various mod, apps etc from apps section.
You can still though install custom roms based on ics that have good battery life like terra rom v6.
Thanks that was a helpful answer, you're the. Best

Cyanogenmod made such a crappy work that they shouldn't have done anyway.
The result is a nightly that:
-White screen when offline charge
-No hotspot
-Unstable
-Graphical issues
-Random reboots
-Freezes when disabling auto rotation
-Laggy
-Horrible general graphics performance
Many other bugs,i don't remember.
Flash cyanoid/Optimus rom.
They're full of hotfixes/debugging and offer an acceptable level of performance.

Its obviuos:No good ICS rom,No 3.X kernel we can't flash CM9 and expect no lags.
The best rom 4.0 now is regits one,but it lags anyway.
Still you can get 4.0 experience with a mixed 2.3.6 rom that looks like ICS.
But it isn't
