I'm using the omega rom on my Samsung galaxy S3 and think it's awesome. But with the change from version 28 to 29 the boot video was changed which led me to two questions.
Question 1: how do I change the boot video myself?
Question 2: What boot video are people using on their S3's and could people supply me with a link?

You take the trouble to look in Themes and Apps section for the boot animation thread .

See the Theme section. Some files you can flash using CWM, some you have to install using a root file manager, as you have to change a system file.
It depends on how the dev packed the file.
You always can see instructions on the theme thread :highfive:
Can someone doodex XXLA2 for me? My cr*p windows 8 computer will not do it. Won't even open .bat files. Stupid...

there are a few deodexed firmwares on development section..you can use that...
or you can deodex ur firmware on ur own by xultimate...google 'how to deodex stock rom' there is one guide in 5830 section i think..!
but xultimate seems to be not working for many people (generaly works for me)...
you can deodex ur rom through kitchen..i never used kitchen so i dont know about it more

I've tried xultimate, won't work for me. And there are no XXLA2 deodex is development section. I need XXLA2. Link me to the kitchen which i can deodex?

You should have made a clockworkmod - nandroid backup. I dont know about aroma but it might simply be an app?

ad blockers should not cause such problems...!!
anyway, you should flash stock rom..
and instead of flashing ad blocker through aroma imstaller, just simply download an app called 'ad free' from market..there are many apps for blocking ads..!

aroma isn't any app..it's kind of a flasher..
search on xda about aroma installer..
it is touch based recovery type of thing..

it got aborted while flashing via cwm in a stock deodexed rom. Btw I use mobo player which gives the same popup features and it works perfect in our quattro.

I modded my systemui.apk and changed the layout of my toggles. No fancy stuff. Didn't mess with the images. I'm a little afraid to install the new file. I was wondering if it would give me a bootloop. Now since flashing the stock rom again is a long process, I want to ask if just flashing the original systemui.apk through recovery will be enough to overcome the bootloop, if I got one?
