Features:
Slimbean ROM (www.slimroms.net) was founded with the Introduction of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean bringing the AOSP with famous cherry picks from CyanogenMod, CNA and AOKP code. As the name suggests for itself, this ROM is slimmed out, removing all the useless stuff. Slimbean ROMs are very little in size ~90MB but please don’t go on its size, since someone rightly said; “big surprises come in small packages“. The ROM features ASS (Advanced Slim Settings) based on the CNA Settings layout which can be viewed under System Settings of your device. ASS offers its users with high end modifications and custom features like Interface, Performance, Theme Engine support and Device Settings modifications. Apart from the features that this ROM delivers, it also provides you with Stability, appreciable battery life and performance.

I have 512kbps connection , so if we consider 40-50 KB/s upload rate it will take about 1 h (133 MB initial size). currently 35% uploaded.

Thanks for reporting. But i just wanted to tell you that there are other slim ports in XDA. Please report their thread too.
and I request you to make slim rom from source if you have some spare time for Xperia sola.
To Xperia Sola users , I don't want any thanks, money or fame . i just wanted to increase knowledge and wanted this rom on Xperia sola.
To Mod , Instead of deleting thread just lock it and remove Download link. Don't delete this thread.
Thanks for reading this message.

the difference is its lite and more customization and yes you can use any other jb 4.2 kernel..fusion 5.5 is provided!
So I just tried it! And I agree, it is super snappy!
But actually for me the settings are just too full! Only English as language is also a little bit poor..
I just did a short five minute test and it actually looks good. It's not my taste, I prefer the simplicity of stock CM ;D
Nevertheless thank you very much! The more ROMs we have, the better ;D
Thank you dark ryder. Will test this ROM soon. :good:
oh..new rom..must test
HAVE TO TEST!

Nice, since you already have pie control on this. Any plan to implement HALO ?
Bug Report
Here are the bugs that i found till now:
Code:
[LIST=1]
[*]1px horizontal glitch in boot animation.
[*]advanced option under personal settings FCs.
[*]Bluetooth doesn't work
[*]Wireless Display option under display settings does nothing
[/LIST]

I tried to make S2E work on this but it failed. There are versions compatible with JB 4.2.2. I flashed S2E and also sd-mount script. ext-sd was mounted on boot and I checked move data from S2E and rebooted. The data was never moved to sd-ext as expected. It is working with Super Jelly Bean v4 ROM flawlessly.
@dark ryder do you have any idea what would be the cause and probably possible fix?

Sorry bout my English

Very nice ROM. Suggestions:

the only thing which is not cool about this rom is the battery life ......
with data off and wifi off ...batterry can easily last for two days
but with either one on sync and location off battery drain is pretty high ....device nevers goes to deep sleep ...battery hardly last for 7 8 hours with 1 hour of screen time ..
except that everything is running smoothly and perfectly fine ...i use opera mini and its working perfectly fine ...i do not shoot videos so that thing doesnt bug me that much ....
and i checked with better battery stats ...when wifi is on ...there are rx_wakelocks and when data is on there are power manager wakelocks which are keeping device awake for the whole time ..
i have tried everything ....i alwys do a fresh install only restore one or two games using titanium ...expect that everything is downloaded from play store ..
Big ups to developer community for this wonderful rom ...love you guys
Kitkat is the rom for our device....i'm these things will get better with time ...keep rocking ...THNxxx
Works fine on Xperia ray ST18i till now...testing mode still but smooth and everyday usefull..... checking battery off course thats a big issue always, the batterylife.....
As for me,im alws on batry save mode

1. very fluid
2. transparent status bar missing ( can u make it transparent in next build ?)
3. video recording null ( have to wait Mikes next update of base)
4. heavy battery drain overnight ( pic 1)
5. warlock on wifi ( when wifi off) (pic 2)
6. installed all my apps using mounts2sd
7. i like the little options available .. like the notifications in lock screen
other things i will update after 24 h playing with the ROM
and btw the kernel inside ROm is same as the Mike's LX ROM kernel ???

its faster then LX ( thats how i felt) but found bluetooth not working. but i dont how the Dev going to support future updates. LX nightly having updates at least every week. i switch back to LX anyway
No YouTube video
I agree with earlier posts, the ROM feels quick!
But I have found a problem that makes me go back to LX (at least for the moment), video does not work in the Youtube-app. The sound is OK but the image looks like the attached screenshot.

It's because lx is having buildbots with high specs to work for them with awesome internet speeds.. I do all building on my laptop.. Without seeing basic things aren't working i won't release any rom.. Video recording was a sorce code bug in cm11 which is fixed now and so will be fixed in my updates too.. Try to find workarounds to help others rather worrying about future updates.. It can help me and you also..

Hello and welcome to Fusion rom!
Hi there, I'm the official maintainer for your device and I'll be updating this ROM on behalf of the Fusion team.
So lets get started!
Our android based project started out as a private project for the Samsung Galaxy S2. Now a few years later we've gained much more experience and are proud to release it to the public.
Fusion rom is based on Android Lollipop and is built for a more user friendly environment and many fixes and improvements to the source code.
This results in a fast, battery friendly rom for your phone including many features for everybody to enjoy and customize the rom to their own likings.
This is not a single person project.
It's the work of many different people spending time to make Android better.

Why shouldn't you be able to flash other kernels?
For advanced reboot go to Settings --> Fusion --> Global menu --> Advanced reboot --> Select disabled and then enable back.
Greetings from the rest of the Fusion team!

stock kernel its the best, friendly battery comsumtion and no lag without zram
Stock kernel is stable, you don't need to flash other kernel or else you experience random reboot or FC's... @aniket.lamba I think viper4 not really working cuz there is a audioFX install, I read some Comments that if you use viper4 you have to unisntall any apps like audioFX and you have to change SElinux Status to permissive...1 day and half alread that I run this ROM and so smooth and stable i dont experience any lag over heating and freezing...Thanks to the DEV :good:
