Came across this the other day. I liked the WIIMote app, but playing on the controller was a little awkward, especially having the wire and the other half of the controller. just hanging.

i haven't tried it on my Streak. But see what some of you think. =D
Idk if we can. but it would be kool to output the emulators through HDMI. =D
Nice stuff there. Espically when they project onto the screen and play Street Fighter. But in general I can't see myself grabbing my PS3 controller to play games on the Streak.
Your are the man ive been looking for thks ill.be trying this here real soon

Yep, I output the screen from my advent vega via hdmi and play emulators (favourites are n64 and psx) with a wired 360 controller. Haven't tried a PS3 one yet but I think I will do
Well the thing with the eee Pad Transformer it just outputs the entire screen. No matter what. With our phone it only outputs video I think. So emulators is probably not going to work. Unless a Dev can help us. And HDMI out without dock. I'm not sure. Time too Google

How did you connect your ps3 controller to your Dell Streak??
"Sixaxis Compability Checker" couldn't detect my phones bluetooth address>
I can reconfirm it works on the S5, in fact it works on all dell devices. (Dont bump old threads btw)

S5: 407
S7: 514
S10: 568

I was looking at the Galaxy Nexus threads and saw this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_--zcmqIyRI and decided I would try it out on the Note. I did this on my Evo when I had one so this isn't a new idea but I kind like it. This isn't an in depth video, it just shows you how it works with what I have working with it. The commands that the Nexus user can use with his keyboard I couldn't get to work with the Note. Not sure if its an ICS thing or what. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laUNz7QJ9Wo&feature=youtu.be
I too have been playing around with this and it is a pretty novel idea. It isn't 100% there yet in terms of being a setup I could use full time, but it does let me travel without my laptop and plug in to a hotel TV.

Is there a way to make the Motorola Lapdock to work with the Note or something similar?
I was hoping to put Ubuntu on my phone and be able to mirror that to the screen.
Any suggestions?

Can you get any of the commands to work from the keyboard like the Nexus? I'm not having much luck there. Might be a gingerbread thing.

I just found an old Bluetooth Virtual Keyboard (it's a small black box that you set on a table, and it projects a full-sized keyboard onto whatever flat surface it's sitting on using a laser) I used to use with my Windows Mobile 2003 PDA and tried to pair it with my Note today. It works flawlessly! This thing hasn't worked with any of my devices since WinMo 5, and even then it usually required a driver to be installed. Not with the Note! Just need to be sure I have the Samsung Keyboard selected (but it doesn't need to be open). I just keep getting more and more excited about this thing (except for the dark splotches on my display and low Quadrant scores).
Ok this is neat for traveling. Anyone know what cable we need to connect to the lcd monitor?

You have to have the MHL to HDMI adapter for it to work. I got mine on Amazon for $22 including shipping and got it within 5 days. Then of course a bluetooth keyboard and mouse..works good. Does your monitor have HDMI?
Edit: If your traveling I'm sure the tv might have an HDMI...unless you stay in a Days Inn as I do..

Awesome! Is it compatible with a mouse?
just bought it, then dowloaded about 85% of the 1.7 gig download over wifi, had to leave so I turned on my mifi but my tab dropped the signal and now I have to start over once I get home again :/ the internet is a wonderful thing, it also simultaneously sucks in many ways.

No, it has very impressive draw distance (you can see things far away) but its not on par with the Tegra 3 games. If Gameloft doesnt start making their games using the unity engine they'll be left behind.....

Anybody notice the game is now totally screwy after the update yesterday? I just checked out the comments in Google Play and noticed this does not just apply our device. Not sure what Gameloft was thinking? If anybody has a fix for this that does not lose your progress in the game, please share.

All of the menus have been fixed, back to how it was before. Seems a bit smoother, but no huge difference.

WTH.... another update this morning?!.... no, let me reprase that: another update that asks me to download 1.7 GB of data this morning?! What the heck is up with Gameloft? First off this game is barely playable on a Tegra 3 tablet, and then their ridiculous updates are serious bandwidth killers.
The game was downloading on the first install page every time I opened it! Works almost flawlessly in my gs3, so it's definitely a device specific issue. I am also getting frustrated eating up my data allowance on this.
Edit: I don't see any update today??

I happen to have a PS3 controller, so I'd like to try playing the good old MC3 on my TF300 with it. I have everything set up perfectly, the controller is detected by the sixaxis app (it says 'client connected: 1' when I power on the controller), and I have obviously selected sixaxis as default input method. However for some reason the controller doesn't do anything, not even in the UI. Any hints? I'd really love to try this thing out
One more thing, this is a GameStop controller, not a stock PS3 one, but honestly I think it should work just fine since it uses the same frequency of the standard one. On the box there's written it uses sixaxis technology and all that jazz...

DId you download the modern combat 3 profile that JGAF created and select that in the app? I had a problem with my first controller because it wasnt OEM, and I could not get the one controller light to stay on, so i think ur ok in that department.
And you've paired the controller using the bluetooth mac address on the TF300, using the sixaxis pair tool on ur PC correct ???

Yes, I used the PC tool and paired the controller properly. I've also loaded the mc3 profile, and the controller light stays on...here's why it's weird, everything should be working just fine, basically it looks like the keys on the controller aren't working, maybe I got a defective one??

As stated in the description of the Sixaxis app many generic controllers don't work with it, you should get an original one.

Hmm I think so, I guess I got fooled a little by that guy at the shop a few days back. He told me that this one was as good as the original one, with the same frequency and all that
I'll bring it back to the shop tomorrow, hopefully I'll be able to get at least a discount on an original one or something, they're so freaking expensive...

Just a little update: I grabbed an original controller from a friend and now everything works. Cool stuff. I'd just love to have a way to increase sensitivity a lil more (via game settings isn't enough for me), but that's nitpicking. Coming from PC gaming no controller can ever be sensitive enough for my needs I guess
Lesson learned: stay stay away from GameStop controllers.

you should even be able to stream this out to a tv fairly easily.
