I got a lumia 925 yesterday but the volume of the speaker is very low during phone call but is ok if I switch to hand free mode.
Any solution?

Just picked up the Moto Razr from Dubai.. First call i received, the earphone speaker seems to be crackling.. tried reducing the volume / increasing the volume.. no change.. the speaker still seems to be crackling.. minor sound, but nonetheless, not expected when you spend money to buy an uber smartphone..!
Any suggestions on what to do about this?
Hi,
Suddenly, the call volume from headset became very low. People on the other side hardly can hear my voice. However I have no issues hearing them. Even music playback has no issues.
I have tried headsets with other mobiles. Its fine. Should I reset the phone?
Thanks in advance.

Hi All,
Since the 11500 firmware update my UK unbranded Lumia 800 connects and disconnects from my MB car kit every 60/90 seconds, unless I am actively using it through a call/BT streaming.
I have connected an iPhone 4S with no issues, and a Nexus S. I can see a few people have had issues online, just wondering if anyone on here had seen anything similar? Almost looks like some kind of power management kicking in...over and over.
I am currently running 8107.12070, any pointers appriciated

Is your phone fully charged? I wonder if the power management is kicking in because of low power?
Do you see the same issue even when the phone is connected to the charger in the car?
Do you have any other BT devices (handsfree earpiece perhaps) that you can test your phone with (just to figure out if the problem is with the phone?)
(FWIW, my Lumia 800 seems to be working ok with my car even after the recent firmware update 12070 - and was working ok before that too)
When i using headset which comes with lumia 800 for calling, everytime
chattering sound is coming in call continuosly. Sound is like ( if we put our phone near a speaker). Does it happen with yours or am I the one facing this .
Hello, by speaker you mean the computer speaker?
If so, then it's probably because the speaker isn't magnetically shielded.
No , not the computer speaker the lumia 800 headphones
Hi everyone !
I have a Lumia 710 (Orange Branded, Product code 059N3X9, got with [...].11465 firmware version) and when I use it with wired headphones, I can hear a light but really annoying electronic background noise. It is most noticeable when the output sound is low (ex : when listening podcats in calm places). I was wondering if the noise comes with every Lumias 710 or only with my (defect?) mine.
What I tried :
1) Testing with severals headphones : Koss Portapro, Panasonic earplugs, Nokia earplugs, Sony Ericson earplugs. Same result : still the noise.
2) Flashing / upgrading / debranding : tested firemwares Country Variants : Stock Orange France one / Country Variant France / UK (tango) / Orange France (Tango). Each one had a different firmware number.
3) Compared sound quality with a lossless reference file beetween the Lumia and a cheap Archos music player : Noise on Lumia, clear sound on Archos.
I know that everyone do not hears things the same way, so in order to be less subjective, I tried to record the noise signal with audacity.
The headphone socket is pluged on the Aux in socket of my audio Card (Asus Xonar D1). Here is the record of the "default Nokia Message sound" played on the Lumia (recorded with volume at 30 on Lumia, and recording volume at max on audacity. Amplified at + 19db after) :

The noise is only "played" when something is played throught the headphone port. It stops about 2 seconds after the sound played stops. When the noise stops, two spikes appears on the graph (squared in red).
So I am wondering if this noise is only present on my model, or if it is a general default on all Lumia 710.
Does some is experimenting the same problem ?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
Yeah, I hear it also when there is not anything playing. It sounds like static right?
Its standard Nokia unshielded Audio lines, thanks to there extremely small compact format Printed circuit boards electrical noise is a big fact and costs alot in a grand scale to rectify so they well made a pigs ear of it and said it would do, although it doesn't take much to fix when you know how. Thanks to someone posting all the tech draws and circuit designs I was able to modify the boards and clear the audio problems.

This is a very common problem in cell phones that use cheap DACs. One very easy workaround is that the noise typically doesn't increase with the volume, so you can buy headphones that have a resistor-style volume control. (not a digital volume control, an example are the Sony DREX14VP earbuds) If you turn up the volume on the phone and use the resistor volume control on the headphones to lower it to a reasonable listening volume, it should remove almost all of the electronic noise from the bad DAC. I've done this with my dell venue pro.
