in standard touchwiz (4.3 +) slide pull up (from bottom slide up), brings magazine home app appears.
with pull up, you could change app appeared with any app installed you want.
1. tap pull up in drawer to choose the app that you want to open when pulling up in home screen
2. then try slide up from the most bottom of your home screen.. whooosaaaahhh (i made my browser appears)

hmm... its in the middle of the night here, but maybe you could try copy paste framework of dn3 first. dont forget to nandroid first or save your original framework and restore it with aroma file manager if something bad happen.
coz i only can play with all of this on the weekend, weekdays working at the office.. sorry mate.
but if you could be patient, i'll try yours on weekend.

hey @rahulsinghal the rom shared by you jellycat is not working for me it has just given one additional app viper4android only. my userinterface is back to the galaxy s5282 base when i had purchased it. do i have to do something else???
Its basically based on the Stock Samsung ROM only but still it should not show touchwiz launcher, if thats what you mean..
If its showing touchwiz launcher then again flash the ROM, if problem still persists .. have you tried doing factory data wipe after install ROM if yes dont do it next time if no try doing it..

Buddy make sure u have not dl it from uc browser bcoz it corrupts the file... dl it from pc and make sure u have cwm 6.0.3.7

Recovery bricked... Where is my mistake? I was on Carbon 4.3.1 from Kevinjoa. I downloaded your Rom and put it on my External SD than i boot into TWRP and make a fullwipe after that i flash your Rom and restart. Nothing happens blackscreen...

May be there is something wrong with your Rom zip file check it with winrar and u sure your model is only

Flash the stock modified kernel by @sambathpkr.. Will solve ur problem

update xposed installer then update binary
if u r not able to install use titanium backup to uninstall xposed and install the latest version
Installed FaKitkat but not rebooting to homescreen
After flashing Fakitkat from CWM 6..x.x.x I am not able to reboot to home screen. It smiply shows black screen for more than 15 minutes. Did I do anything wrong?

First wipe data wioe cache etc etc. Install rom then dont do anything just reboot

This rom is for s5282... Don't flash it in s5280.. The black screen is probably bcoz of d unsupported kernel

Don't flash the fix. Zip... This happened with me when i flashed it... U can backup the apps which u need and are provided in fix. ZiP and just reflash the rom.

I'm looking for a kernel to flash to my phone,
I installed the ROM correctly, but its stuck on the blue eagle logo,
I suspect that i damaged/deleted the kernel
