are you looking for stock rom or custom rom?
if custom, there are many variety of it with many advantages (minus the warranty void and possibility to brick the phone)
the highest stock android version for i9100G (yes, i know yours is i9100) is 4.1.2...
so if you are looking for 4.2.2, custom rom all the way~
-hit thanks if my post helps you-

No rom exists yet, although a port is in development.
You can however install the launcher/widgets. Visit app forum.
There is no such thing like a S3 Rom for S2. You can apply a ported TouchWiz S3 version to a rooted S2, though, that will give you nearly the same S3 experience. Take a look into the theme section.
Check this rom out. Its as close as your possibly going to get for now.
I personally use it and work just fine mate.

[Q] ROM for Galaxy Ace: Jellaxy or Maclaw's GalaxyICS?

Hi,
I would like to install an Android 4 ROM on my Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830i, currently running 2.3.6 Gingerbread. After a lot of research I've narrowed my choice down to two ROMs, but still can't decide which one is best: Maclaw's GalaxyICS, or Jellaxy?
My main concern is speed... Which of the two is faster? Maclaw's ROM is based on CM9 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and Jellaxy is based on CM10 (Jelly Bean). Does this mean Jellaxy is slower?
Could anyone who has tried both ROMs or who has knowledge on this subject enlighten me please?
Thank you
both roms are for galaxy ace 5830, the normal ace..!!
those roms aren't for our abnormal ace 5830i !!
however if you want jellybean on your phone i suggest you should try jellyblash or simplicity v4...
you can find other many roms for our device on galaxy ace 5830i development section..take some time, have a look at the screenshots, read reviews and decide what fits you best.!!
Good till now u haven't installed them cos u don't have these roms on our device
They are from s5830 not S5830i which makes a huge difference
So buddy
Flash simplicity
And if u own s5830 then wrong section

There is no android 4 rom for our phone yet. Only gingerbread available.
NOOOOOOOOOO! :crying:
I Just realised how foolish I was when researching these ROMs. I assumed they were compatible with the S5830i because it said "Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830, S5830i, Ace II" at the top of the XDA threads... I overlooked the fact it then narrowed it down to just the S5830.
Thank you for telling me though guys, I would probably have flashed the S5830 ROM and bricked my device if you hadn't told me this.
I'll take a look in the development section for S5830i, thanks for your help!

[Q] S4 TouchWiz on S2 on CM

I have a galaxy s2 and a galaxy s4 I am wondering if I pull TouchWiz and its sisters and install it to CM10.1 or 10.2 will it work? do I have to do the porting thing. I hust love TouchWiz and revolution mod is 4.1.2 not even 4 2.2
There are already ported versions of TouchWiz (and it's sisters on XDA i9100 forums. There is also a stock modded i9100 ROM that looks like S4. Search XDA and you will find.

Port S3 Roms on S3 Neo I9301?

Hello everyone,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo and want to know if it is possible to port Roms including earlier Android versions (like Android 4.1.2) to the S3 Neo (which comes with Android 4.4.2).
I'd appreciate all answers.
I doubt it. I have a feeling that the drivers for the hardware won't be compatible with the older firmware.
Beamed in by telepathy.
You cannot flash older versions of Android because of hardware incompatibility. You can flash CM12.1 on s3 neo but you'll face little battery drain because of cpu governor of CM. I'm now using stock 4.4.2.
