Hey all, I'm running Yankees Y10 on my Ebony Ltd, I use chomp small and when I try to send mms messages, it won't go through, it tells me to check my apt settings, but I don't know what to change them to. Any ideas? Thanks.

Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
Nope, just like most phone don't have from 3g to 2g carries are trying to get rid of them, but hopefully they can make one

Download the "Phone Info" app from the market. It allows you to choose between 3g and 4g.
I was wondering the same thing. If theres no toggle, does it automatically go to the highest/best available data stream?

Do you have specific settings you are using. I go in and try to change to gsm and it won't allow me to change.

i just got the evo v for virgin mobile and my question is, is it normal for the texting to be in blocks? on the left it shows all the texts from my recipient and on the right it shows all from me but it doesn't show them in the order the texts were sent and received. all of my texts are at the top of the page and all the received ones are at the bottom. is this normal and is there a way to change that?

What ROM are you on. You should be able to go to Sense Messaging App and go to settings/general and Turn on Conversation Mode. This is or a Sense ROM.
I'm running the stock Rom but if I can't change I will probably change it.

Since the release of 4.2 I have had a lot of trouble getting it MMS to work I've heard some solutions and work arounds so if you have it working just list the Rom, what messaging app, kernel, and what settings in the messaging app you use
Thanks for the help

I had this problem and I just turned off "auto receive mms" off in the stock messaging app. After that you just have to click "download" in the stock messaging app. You can't download the message via 3rd party app I found out.
I am on cm10.1 and use the stock messaging app. With default settings. The only thing I do is set network to CDMA/evdo since I don't have lte yet. Always works for me.

I've got lte and would like to keep it. I'm running nins latest and gosms solved the issue for me. I just use it once and that seems to kick start it

I'm running a sense ROM... Its under settings>call>ddtm mode
Yeah, I looked at that in settings and it was not checked. I just did a light re-flash of this rom, and they're still going to VM.

It happened to me, but my issue was extra ordinary since I would get calls with aosp-based roms. I had to take it to sprint and they said it was due to signal handoff issue between towers.

Can someone please share there LTE/MMS settings for the One?
A quick Google search will yield 100 results for what you are asking ... Just type tmobile lte apn settings In Google search .
That's probably why no-one has yet to reply .. it's a quick find
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
Is it the same across all tmobile devices? The issue I was having is that I can send/receive mms from everyone except an iPhone, when I receive and pic from said iphone it loads as a blank text. But when I install a 3rd party sms app the pic loads
Sent from my One using xda premium
There should be no issues from any device apple or android .Unless your using some other carrier SIM... On a unlocked HTC....The stock setup the way you got the phone should be ready for mms.. sms.. ect...if it's a T-Mobile HTC one .. and your using a tmobile SIM.
What did u do to the phone?
It should already have the default apn..and you can also choose reset to default.
You shouldn't be missing any apn settings... It's possible your iPhone sender is having the issue not your HTC.
