hello
Faced with such a problem. Trying to install on your machine this firmware. As a result, nothing is set. In recovery some mistakes all the time. That status of 0, 7 status, then something else. Already tried anything.
Also put it like MIUI and put normal, but does not work 3G, only 1X and then intermittently.
And it is not clear, wifi works or not. Can help somehow? Just do not load, I do not quite understand English =)
PS
Excuse me if I choose the appropriate forum for the topic.
PPS
For example, set this firmware http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2245120 . Installation was like, but only the boot screen appeared and everything. Not loaded on.
My phone samsung Galaxy Fascinate
Anyone help me?
I can't understand your English, therefore I have no idea what you're doing. someone else might though... don't spam this thread with cries for help.

Farg12, so you get a status 7 error in recovery when flashing roms and have data issues with Miui?
This link, the Droidstyle Guide is probably what you need to read.
Is the Fascinate you have an American phone? Are you in America or trying to use the Fascinate on another provider? Which firmware did you last have working correctly? I will gladly help you if I can, but will need a lot more information to do so.

Hi Guys,
I know I´ll get it pretty bad after reading what happened to me, but I´ll endure what I deserve if someone could help me
I installed voodoo lagfix over Team Whiskey´s Onyx R4.2 and at first it seemed to work pretty fine. Some minor things I wasn´t too happy with so I decided to get rid of it.
Now comes the bad part: I should have read how to do this much more careful. What I misunderstood was that I should just delete the folder "Voodoo" in my SD which I did. I then tried to do a factory reset and know I am in the following situation: whenever I try to reboot my phone I get the Samsung Galaxy S i9000 screen right after the Samsung Vibrant screen, the robots girl´s voice tells me "Factory reset mode detected" and that´s it. I´m stuck. Even if I take out the battery I get the very same thing (Samsung Vibrant, Samsung Galaxy S i9000 screens, girl´s voice and that´s it!).
Honest question: is there anyone in this forum who could help me get my phone back to work or did I screw up? (I mean more than I did, anyway)
I know I should have been much more careful, it´s just that with all the flashing before nothing ever went wrong, guess I just got careless.
Any help here would greatly be appreciated.

Another voodoo doll gets a pin I'm not sure how to help as I've never used voodoo but odin might help can you get into download mode

Hi, thank you sooo much.
Thanks to another comment of you in another thread I managed to get the phone into download mode (took the battery out and used only the volume buttons while replacing the battery, thanks so much for that, too!).
I was thinking of a way to get rid of voodoo and the phone back to factory firmware&kernel and start over with flashing A LOT MORE CAREFULL...hopefully I´ll get to the point. anyhow
Hmh I downloaded a folder that contained everything I should need to get my phone back to stock.
Seems like ODIN is not able to work on my phone, though, because after I inserted the right PIT and PDA and started the process ODIN seems to have stopped working...I really have no clue what to do now.
Yeah of you know how to use odin and have the files and drivers you'll be set then make sure you get rid of voodoo I hear that its not worth the trouble cause theres no app in they're face so sometimes people forget they even have it and then try to flash a new room and the voodoo turns there phones too poo poo a lot of roms come with ryanza lag fix that's what I use everytime I've had no problems with it ever
V5 custom vibrant
Yeah, it is definitely not worth the trouble.
ODIN doesn´t seem to work at all, I´ll give it another try now. If it doesn´t work at all, do you know of any way to get the phone back to "out-of-the-box" state?
Do you have odin set up correctly if so try to remove sim and external sd card it can confuse the system sometimes tel me the set up for odin that you have it might be something wrong with that end

You might want to flash eugenes froyo that didn't brick then go back to stock for some reason or another
That seems to help people that forgot to disable voodoo
V5 custom vibrant
You wouldn´t happen to have a link for that, do you?
I got idea from another thread and tried looking for Eugenes Wonder File, the only thing I could find was Eugene saying support dropped for XDA...is there any way I could a hand on that file? google doesn´t seem to help. Sorry to bother you with that, man, I was foolish and desperately need that phone (even in out of the box state) cause I´m waiting for a very important phone call (I know, should have done that crap AFTER getting the call!)
Its no trouble but I think I saw the site name in the forum somewhere yesterday for eugenes web site I'm not sure where if I find it I'll let you know you'll be able to get the file from there I'll look for it you should do the same go into the development section and go through some of those eugene threads you might be able to find a link to his site in there probably closer to the ends of the threads cause he just moved like this week or the end of last week

I just found it, don´t bother yourself with it anymore. Thank you very, very much for your help and patience.
I´ll try to get my phone back to work.
If i´m able to, is there any lagfix you would recommend? I love Onyx r4.2 ROM but would like to use a lagfix.
Ryanza all the way I think its already on the onyx rom if not you can find it on this site as its not on the market anymore I'm not sure why but yeah your welcome and good luck

Hi Arckhaist, I've the same problem on my Galaxy S. Have you solved???
EDIT: I solved with Odin. I flashed a new stock JPU.
Hello all,
If any of you pros can help me out with this I'll be eternally grateful.
So, I rooted my galaxy S2 with the guide on here and after superoneclick it just switched off. I booted it up and it just loops forever, yellow triangle then my provider (LGU+ Korea).
I can reboot into download mode and re-flash with XWKDD_insecure.tar. This starts the phone and I can access main features but it says rooted and I can't make any calls or 3g access.
As soon as countdown is up and screen locks (or I press lock) then the phone is bricked again and I have to re-flash just to get to that screen. So, I re-flashed and then ran the superoneclick program. Clicking unroot this time. It seemed to work and now I can get WIFI but no calls.
However, as soon as the screen is locked it is due a flash. Also, it's impossible to charge.
I'm new to this as you can tell but the guide is simple and I followed it step-by-step. I've read elsewhere on here that I can unroot this with a custom ROM? Where can I find these on the site?
Also, will they be applicable for me in Korea?
Basically I need to undo what I've done and get the phone reactivated. Please can somebody give me some advice and the download location of these ROMS that so I can get the phone reactivated.
Thanks in advance. Really stressing out here. It's on a rather expensive 2-year contract!

Follow guide .
Flash with XWKDD to see if you can recover to a working phone ..
These are European firmwares .

Thanks for your tip. Unfortunately I've tried that one and the other two all to no avail.
It just flashes until about 95% and then says 'FAIL!'.
Any other suggestions? or am I just going to have to go back to the shop and deal with the consequences.
hmmm havent heard of a fail flash, maybe try posting in the Dev thread
hmmm havent heard of a fail flash, maybe try posting in the Dev thread
Against the rules .
I would take to shop and say Kies offered an update and failed half way through .
A thought go to dev section find a kernel and just flash the kernel .

Hi there. I posted in another thread my question but i dont think its in the right section so sorry for reposting it here.
I was trying to delete a useless app with Titanium Backup (TWlauncher) but it turns out this was not the useless app i was looking for. Now i cant boot my phone. I'm just stuck at the Samsung Galaxy SII loading screen. I only got the phone yesterday and rooted it thanks to your guides on here. I've not got any restore options when i boot the phone into download mode. I have tried to just flash with a new ROM but i dont know what i'm doing wrong. Tried to look around the forums for old threads that might help but i couldnt find one. If anyone could link me to the needed information i would be very grateful. I'm a total n00b when it comes to android phones but have a little experience hacking various other items (Wii, iPhone and a little bit of Xbox)
Thanks in advance for any help and sorry if this isnt the right place to ask but i'm pretty worried! Only took the phone out the box yesterday, rooted it fine and stupidly deleted something i thought was useless.
Sorry to hear that. Have you attempted a manual factory reset? If you have then I would suggest you contact your mobile phone service provider or the company themselves and ask them what they suggest. If nothing has worked and you have tried all of this then your device is most likely bricked. Hope this helps!
After a lot of worry and many google searches I found out that i have got a backup, i just needed to hold the up volume instead of the down volume to get to the restore screen. I was just being a n00b basically. Sorry for wasting your time but maybe this might help someone else at some point (someone as stupid as me)
I have had a Huawei Blaze U8510 since Christmas 2011.
It has lost the ability to even try to recognize WiFi signals, even though all my other devices can find them, and has become generally slow over time. I want to get Cyanogenmod onto it, but have no clue how. I haven't rooted it and there is a lot i would like to back up on the device. Also, would getting Cyanogenmod fix the WiFi issue? And is there a way I can get my contacts from the phone itself and save them to my SIM card without having to re-input them manually?
Mostly, I am asking to either be redirected to somewhere that will explain to me each step that i need to take, or maybe some direct advice. Any kind of reply will be appreciated and will not go without thanks.
If any info is needed, post a reply and I will get back to you with it.
Also, If this thread is in the wrong place, I do apologize. I did try looking for another place but this seemed the most fitting.
Regards, Katsu.
The device is currently on android version 2.3.5, If that information matters.
Suppose a Samsung phone is stuck in a boot loop, getting only as far as the Samsung logo. Recovery mode doesn't work - it only shows a sick robot with 'No Command' and some text about 'applying CSC' (whatever that is) before going back into the boot loop. Download mode works. You can inspect the hardware, and do whatever is necessary in download mode. Aside from that which can be worked out somehow, the history of the phone (original network, firmware installed, what's been flashed to the phone, unlock status etc) is unknown.
What are the possible causes of this boot loop problem? Does anybody actually know, or is everyone just hiding behind comments like 'there are many possible causes', pretending to be knowledgeable when they don't actually know anything? I ask because I really want to know and genuinely have not seen a complete answer to this question after hours of searching and seriously wonder whether anyone actually knows. If there are 'many possible causes', list them and explain how they result in a boot loop.
How do you work out what software needs flashing to repair the phone? If it can't be worked out, is there a sure-fire way of flashing all of the necessary software so that it will definitely work?
For any phone model, there are many firmwares available, according to country, carrier, and firmware date. What actually governs whether a given firmware is going to work on the phone? Surely the hardware is pretty much always the same? So why does the firmware version matter as long as you get the right phone model?
If the model of the phone is significant (i.e., it isn't possible to give a general answer to these questions that can be followed for any model of Samsung phone), please explain why it is significant for your answer (rather than hiding behind that as an excuse for not answering), and then assume an S4 mini.
Thanks.
