Something like the Sony DSC-QX100 and QX10 lenses or what do you mean?
I guess. I will look into those. Are they big? Do you have a link? I would prefer something small...

how about a way to connect my canon lens to my note 3. with 4k video I want to do this REALLY badly.
Google it Gang, I just did and there are lots of possibilities.
You can even find 37mm adapter on ebay.
Who has bought one and what was your experience with it (with a link please)?

It is highly appreciable for detail suggestion about an external lens
Kickstarter project for external mobile lenses. The price is much higher than existing ones have but they promise a much better quality.
They raised three times the money they need in first 3 days.

I saw this on Engadget and got right on it. I backed them with $99 for both Tele and Wide lenses. Looks promising. Cant wait to get em! And for those wondering, I asked the guy himself and he said this will be compatible with the Note 3!

Hi All,
My much hated iPhone 3g is dying, and Kijiji is full of phones for sale. The Galaxy s III can be had for about $460 so I would rather wait a few months, but often times an S II goes for $250, and I have seen Bell's S II HD for that same price. Bell's Galaxy S II HD seems like a great device, however I have had the bad experiences of the Nokia N800 tablet and the HTC G1 phone, in both cases getting left behind in updates before the thing is even paid in full. I am drawn by the 1280 x 720 resolution but wonder if it is worth it. I don't mind things that are somewhat rare and different ( I drive a 20 year old VW Eurovan ) but is this a really really really rare phone? Is there only one guy building ROM's for it? Or should I stick with a I9100 or Rogers I727? Thanks everyone.

Stick with GT I9100, it has an excellent developer support!
Can anybody find one? It has to be facing inward (that is, the screen faces inward)... Seidio doesn't have one yet...

I've had more phones damaged using a holster than simply pocketing it in my front left pocket. Stopped using holsters on the belt several years ago.
BTW... your signature is not long enough... even doubled like it is.
Not sure if this is what your looking for but this works great for me. And when you put it in the case with the screen facing in, the head phone jack is easily accessed. Link:

It's a nice holster but it's slow to grab the phone with one hand and immediately remove it or place it back in one motion, which is what I prefer. I have a plastic holster for my S3 on my belt which allows me to grab it in one motion and put it back in one motion.

Not cheap but is as form fitting as you'll hope to find so if the phone and holster fall together it provides protection. I've used the same holster on my past five phones and am getting one for the N3.

If you want your phone to go from stored in a protected manner to in your hand for use in less than one second... none of the solutions anyone is talking about work. am talking about a belt holster for the Note III which allows you to quickly snap it out and back in again, facing in towards a layer of felt or such. (Facing out would slow you down as well as being non-protective - you would have to turn it around in your hand every time you take it out of the holster and the screen would be exposed and vulnerable to damage).
Does this make sense? Anybody have any ideas?

Pretty sure this will work:
http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/EB-B700BUBEBUS
No guarantees, but I watched a video comparison between the Note 3 and the Mega, and when they pulled the backs off and compared them, the batteries looked IDENTICAL. No proof yet, but it would make sense.
They may look identical but they have different part numbers so I wouldn't bank on it. The mega takes the b700bc and the note 3 takes the b800be.

My new puppy Sirius literally chewed up my charging cable about 5 minutes ago. It appears to still work but I would like to order a new one. I looked online and I really can't tell which ones are official or not. The one I found it actually says Samsung on it is a little over 3 feet long however the stock cable seems much longer than this. I don't have a tape measure near me, so I can't check the length of the cable that was included with my phone. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Preferably not eBay for reasons I would rather not get into right now lol. I just want to order the official, identical Samsung cable.
I got one of these. It works great.

If you're using it to charge your phone, best to test with GCC to ensure it can provide the requierd output.
There's really no reason to buy an official one unless you really like the look and don't mind paying a premium. Amazon essential cables should do the trick (USB 3.0 for higher data transfer speeds or 2.0 for charging) that being said not all of them are capatible with all cases (depends on the size of the opening in your case)

90% of the cables sold on ebay are not oem, many claimed to be oem, but they are not, they look idential, I even got one direct from china, cannot even tell the different side by side, apart from the shop telling me it's not original.
just get a good quality third party one.

No, and you have had two opportunities to tell us over your last two post, but you must NOT know either, (or refuse to tell us)
I have spoken with Samsung about this at length. The ONLY USB 3.0 CABLE FOR THE NOTE 3 YOU CAN GET AT THIS TIME is sold only with the phone and you only get one. All others are fakes (unless you can buy one from someone who wants to give up the one they received with their Note 3, which is very unlikely). The people at Samsung told me on the phone they will start selling the Note 3 USB 3.0 cables several months into next year, probably May or June. Call if you doubt what I am saying.

I must say, W.T.F.?! Have you tested it to verify it does USB 3.0 speed transfers rather than USB 2.0 speeds? I actually am looking for some because using just that rather than the regular cable just for charging would make the connector on the phone last longer (better on the wear and tear).

I've had the cable over a week now, use it only on my laptop in which my laptop only has USB3 ports on it .. that was the main reason for purchasing a second cable. So, yes .. tested and connectivity as USB3 .. no problems.

I've had a Note 3 since the first day they've been available. I took the KitKat update when it came out. I saw poorer LTE connectivity as a result. I tried everything including a factory reset. Nothing seemed to help. I couldn't get LTE at all in the gym, sometimes no data connection whatsoever. I had to sign onto the gym's wifi to do anything.
Recently my Note 3's proximity sensor stopped working. It wasn't critical but it was an annoyance. It's a company phone so I had it replaced yesterday with a new Note 3. The new Note was on 4.3 Jelly Bean. Woohoo, I thought, I'm going to stay there. However, within 10 minutes of use I started getting the upgrade notice. I could push it away but it popped up every couple of minutes. The phone wasn't useful with this annoying popup screen. I looked everywhere to see if I could eliminate that message. It appears that rooting was the only way to get rid of that popup message, something I didn't want to do.
So, to my dismay, I took the KitKat updae, figuring it was inevitable. When I went to the gym last night I had to sheepishly ask them for the wifi password again. However, as it turns out, I didn't need it. I get 3 bars of LTE goodness while in the gym now. And, better LTE everywhere else. So, it would seem, that the trouble with LTE wasn't KitKat, it was with the phone itself. So far it's only been a day but I'm a very happy camper.
see my post #17 here as well

this depends on the settings you have on your phone. i reset my phone often and sometimes weekly with Rom updates and my passwords are never there for anything.
the reason mine are not there is because i found a few issues directly related to letting Google restore your device like sometimes widgets not keeping sate/time properly and so i use Titanium backup and do it myself. since i chose not to backup/restore from Google then my passwords are never there for me.
They are probably there for most people however!
