NEW!! [THEME][ZIP] --Illusion X-- - Theme Screenshots and ZIPs

My new theme completely done with themer launcher and zooper (native themer).
Hope you enjoy!
theme download: Illusion X V1
*****Mirror
Instructions:
* Download the zip with your phone or move it from the computer to your phone in MyColorScreen/Themer/Exported/zip.
* Go themer settings > Browse Themes > My Themes > Exported and choose the theme. there wont be a preview, just the name of the theme.
Install Player
you need to have installed Zooper Widget & Media Utilities for now to have all the features working!
Copy templates zooper in "sdcard/zooperwidget/templates"
Illusionplayer.zw
Illusiondescription.zw (containing forrward/backward buttons).
you have to carry them with zooperwidget, not themer zooper (it will be added to themer zooper, once done, will be a single zip, will be perfect, we wait)

[theme][cm9][communiteam] Windows 8 metro ui [9/15]

Note: I am not responsible for any damage to your tablet or well being, or losing your precious cat photos from the net.
This is presented to you by communiteam (website is in development) and me, evodev
This is a theme for chrmhoffmann's CM9 rom. I based it on 0.5.3, but it should work on any version. it makes you tabet look and feel more like the Win 8 Metro UI.
to install:
flash the included zip
download desktop visualizer from the play store
download a file manager, I prefer ES Explorer
download and extract the MetroUItiles.zip to an easy to navigate place on the SD card
download ADW launcher, and copy adw_ex_settings from the MetroUITiles folder to the root of your sdcard
go into ADW launcher and click restore settings
open up desktop visualizer and use these settings for best effect:
ouch Effect : None
Default Vibration : On
Text Colour : Doesn’t matter as you shall be deleting the text for each tile
Background Colour : Transparent
Widget Usage : Deselected all apart from 4x4 as this is the only one you shall be using
Next place a 4x4 desktop visualizer widget on your homescreen
click on it, and when it says select image click it, open your file manager to your metrouitiles folder, and click on categories for a category, or the size you want for a specific app, and select it
under app to open select none for categories, or corresponding app to open for the others.
keep doing this and moving around the widgets into a way you like it
click thanks

Thanks, I'll try to post pics tomorrow night, the website I linked to has pics on it already. I'm also thinking about building my own from with this theme, and add Google now, ears widget, and a bunch of tweaks to cm9 on the 2.x kernel to have newer features on a stable rom.

If you make this into a rom, ask the cm builder if you can post a thread using his build as a base. That would be awesome!

I will as soon as I have time. Ive already been doing a lot of work on my Evo, learning rom development, and most of my work and learning isnt on XDA. but ive been thinking of switching over to the nook tablet as my main dev device, and this will get me started. Ill start with adding this into a rom, then porting over sense if I can.
I have recently got back onto the development scene, and might try updating this for the newer ROMs we got now. Anybody specific ones anyone wants?

Are you talking about the one above, or the one I emailed you? The one I emailed you is V1. I did it as a two step process. If it flashes fine, then I can move onto step two and finish the port for you Nexus 7. If not I need to start all over again. Also the flashable is only a small part of the theme, the main thing is the widgets you want to setup following either the guide in this post, or brobots website. Just replace the flashable zip with the one for your device.

TUTORIAL
TUTORIAL:
You need to be very patient in doing this one.. but it worth it!
=====
• REQUIRED APPS:
Nova Launcher/Prime – recommended for swipe down to see status bar
Desktop Visualizer
Zooper Widgets
Eye in the Sky widgets
UCCW
Multipicture Live Wallpaper
and a bit patience
If you prefer BLACK : Download the base image from:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/gbrdcjow96x8vz5/amTEerYVBI#f:BlackFinal copy1.jpg
if your prefer WHITE ownload the base image from:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/gbrdcjow96x8vz5/amTEerYVBI#f:WhiteFinal copy.jpg
UCCW Battery:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/gbrdcjow96x8vz5/tywsIacwNv/bat.uzip
Put it in your SD Card.
=====
APPLICATION SET-UP/SETTINGS:
NOVA LAUNCHER:
• 12×12 desktop grid
• Hide status bar
• Hide dock/disable
• Gesture down for status bar (optional prime)
• App label = disable/do not show
————-
Multipicture Live Wallpaper (MPLW)
Menu bar/tap and hold desktop – wall paper – live wall paper.
• Make sure the common settings – Crop/Resize Ratio is FIT TO FULL SCREEN
• Screen 1 settings – picture source – select the file (white or black depends to ur phone)
APPLY WALL PAPER.
———-
EYE IN THE SKY WIDGETS
• Select the forecast and customize your desire color.
I prefer teal since it matches the font color for text/calls/mail
• It will display the icons of clouds etc… so i made it thinner to hide the clouds
—————-
UCCW – battery/sms/call/mail count
• Download from https://www.dropbox.com/s/hsxcsiycw5mwhj1/bat.uzip
• Copy to /sdcard/UltimateCustomClockWidget folder
• I assume you know how to use it and import as file the uzip file… resize to match/aline with text/calls/Mail
(ask me if you do not know how to use UCCW.. search first)
————————-
DESKTOP VISUALIZER
• Basically, the marbles inside will serve as the app icon.. so we need blank PNG.
download at https://www.dropbox.com/s/gzmnntu3ewb5x75/Copy of blank.png
• Always select 1×1 DeskVis widget and just resize it to fit the icons.
just set up the widgets(do not configure yet to avoid confusion) see image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8exa8nzsqewttre/tutDV.png
• after polotting, then configure each one, icons will be the BLANK PNG and select the app to launch
• select NONE for the touch effect
• Clear label text/name
• Vibration, select on or system/haptic
do that for all of the DV set ups and lastly..
tap and hold on anywhere (not with the widgets) Nova actions, select APP Drawer.
just fit it near the APP marble and for the icon, select blank as well.
Go to nova settings again and lock desktop to avoid moving invisible DV widgets.
I almost forgot, for zooper widget.. just select the default from the list and modify the location/colors if you want too… recommended to select 5×1 above size.
DONE…
thanks and enjoy.. comment for any help.
DONT FORGET TO HIT IT THANKS! or buy me a BEER lol

yeah.. TIP: you can add another set of screen on MPLW and select the other color variant... so you'll have both black and whiite by swiping left ryt
It looks awesome, but I've already wasted so much of my time on making UI tweaks only to lose them when I switch ROMs.
Is there anyway to backup the homescreen settings, so when you flash a new ROM homescreen settings can be restored?
I tried many diff backups and nothing has worked. All I get is blank boxes where the icons were.
Thanks!
@emompong You could use Buzz Launcher to share your homescreen though?
wow looks really awesome!! gonna try ASAP!!

Updated 30/10/2013 matching lock screen's for themer themes

Hi to all.
In this thread I will be adding lock screens to match themer, themes.
And please if you have made a lock screen to match a themer, theme can you upload and share for others to use. Even if a version of your lock screen is already been done as we all like things different. And the more we all share the more we all get.
To any users that upload lock screen themes please can you say for what app your theme is to be used with and please give instructions as not all users will know what to do (and to them users if you need help please feel free to ask for help!)
But MOST IMPORTANTLY keep it friendly and no TROLLING
If there is any one who would like to make a theme for a lock screen but is not sure how to do so feel free to PM me and I will help to get you started..
List of other users who have uploaded lock screen themes.
@Loop4zil
: 2 lock screen themes on page 6

It also adds a lot of delay. It's unfortunate because I hate the sense lockscreen.

Actually, the s5 has built in support for themes that (for some reason) was removed from the final version. Try this (if your rooted)...
Download the attachment below.
Put the apk in system/app folder using a file manager and reboot
Using a third party launcher, create a shortcut (normally longpress/shortcuts/activities) to the thememanagerlist activity and click!
Im working on trying to modify the launcher to include an option to launch the theme manager from the launcher settings. Unsuccessful so far though.
EDIT: you can download tons of themes that work with it by searching the note3 and s4 forums.

Just search around for touchwiz themes, they are installed like normal apks. There are thread directories on the note 3 and s4 forums.

Thanks tp for the instructions. I was looking around for this to use on my stock rom, but wasn't sure how to do this. What third party launcher do you recommend? Would Nova work? Also, I am not clear on when you said to create a shortcut (normally long press/shortcuts/activities) to the theme managerlist activity? Can you please explain?
Also, do you have a stock kernel in a flashable zip format available? Please share if you do. I want to try some kernels for the T-Mobile variant, but want to revert back to stock in case I didn't like it.
As always, thanks for all your help! Great job with the Infinity rom btw, :good:

Thanks! btw, the themes app is in the rom if you are using project infinity. I just havent created a link to it in settings yet. I use Nova launcher, long press on the desktop and then select shortcuts/activities and then scroll down until you see theme manager, expand it and select the only activity that appears. It will create a shortcut on the desktop. Just click the shortcut to access the theme settings. In a future build of PI this will be built in.
