Hi everyone. I recently noticed an issue whereby if I have my wifi turned on, my mogul won't connect to my car's bluetooth. I usually have it off but often when I insert the phone into my seidio car cradle the wifi switch turns on and the bluetooth doesn't connect. As soon as I turn the wifi off the BT connects fine. If I switch wifi back on BT goes off again. Weird. Not sure if this is interference or a software issue. I am on DCD 2.1 rom. Anybody else? Any way to have the Mogul ignore the hardware wifi switch or assign it a different function? Thanks.
Mogul wifi
I have the same problem wiith the stock 2.17 ROM
A reasonable work around is to go into comm manager and just turn wlan off. Have to do it after each soft reset though. Overrides the hardware switch which is what I need.
ive never had this problem (currently using 2.2.6 but 2.17 was fine too)
i do know the 2 share an antenna though, could be an issue
Wifi and bluetooth at the same times works fine even before the leaked ROM stuff.
I use the Slingbox via WiFi and listen via bluetooth all the time.
Hi, I am running ICS (4.0.3) on a HTC EVO 3D and looking for an app that turn GPS on when connected to a specific bluetooth device (ie parrot in the car). Als it needs to turn Wifi off when connecting to that bluetooth device.
Now, the extra thing I would need is that it turn GPS off and Wifi on again when disconnected from the bluetooth device. Anyone know such an App?
I have used A2dp volume, which turned GPS on, but not off... anyone can help me?
Anyone can give me some help or advise?
I have a Galaxy Nexus, Android 4.3.
I've posted in this forum because it seems Android has bluetooth issues on many devices.
I switch bluetooth on, turn on my car, then the phone connects via bluetooth to the car's speakerphone device.
I turn off the car, the phone sees the bluetooth speakerphone losing connection all of a sudden, then if I switch bluetooth off the phone tries to switch it really off but after a fews seconds bluetooth turns on automatically.
I can't reboot the phone everytime I have to switch bluetooth off.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
PS: I really don't understand what's Goolge's problem with bluetooth. Really, they can't make it work right. It worked perfectly on 4.1.x, they've broken it with 4.2 and never fixed it 100%.

Were you ever able to get this resolved? I am having issues with this myself and I am really hoping there is a better work around to rebooting my phone.

no problem with my nexus 4 4.3
Hi,
I've created a tasker profile which simply checks if I'm near the Bluetooth in my car, if so turn bluetooth on, wifi on, and bluetooth volume up to max. This all works fine, however it doesn't stay connected. After a few minutes the bluetooth gets turned off (not just disconnected) and I can't understand why. If I manually turn it back on, it will reconnect with the car immediately. And I think that if I leave it long enough for tasker to re scan, it will re-connect by it's self (I've not check this thoroughly).
Any idea what I'm missing here?
Thanks
Hope someone can help
Past uptade s3 to xxugng3 4.3 i have the problem, if the headset is via bluetooth connected a nd i turn Bluetooth off, nfc activate from its own. The same, if i turn my headset off and the phone disconnected bluetooth pairing, nfc started from its own.
Its a bug, i think, not normal. Did somebody know how to fix this
