Requires Xposed Framework!
Inspired by gabcas's Buttered Toast, this module adds the app icon to its Toast messages.

Thanks. :highfive:
Thanks mohammadAG
Alone Buttered and Burnt toast modules work fine but together there is a small layout problem.
Maybe can be correct otherwise note the incompatibility is to be used together...
Thanks for your nice work :good:

Buttered Toast adds a TextView to the original toast which has a vertical layout. I change it to a horizontal layout so the icon is next to the top.
The incompatibility can't be easily fixed. Unless buttered toast adds the text to the existing text.

+1 on this. Titanium Backup is another "offending" app, although not this big it's definitely bigger than it should be.
Another top notch idea Mohammad. :cyclops:

You are the rockstar of xmodules. Thank for another nice addition. Do you think you will be adding Title option?
@Steph310
There is an easy and effective temporary workaround for this alignment issue. What works for me, is to install v1.0 of Buttered Toast. The text lines up nicely to the icon. (reminder to reboot)

A request, if a possible one, any idea if its possible to extend the toast "timeout", as in, when it first appears to when it disapears, say like, a 5 second timeout, as i find myself with some toasts having quite a bit of text, but not enough time to read it before the toas disapears.
Very cool mod

Your idea for this app is good but it work so so.. For exemple, i used SuperSU for manage access to root privileges and when i open XBlast or Unicon, the icon of SuperSU is display but no the icon of my other apps
Can you fit it?

Nice module. Limiting icon size would be a nice addition.
Is it possible to add options to adjust the icon scale or dimensions, set max icon dimensions, and/or change the icon's placement?
Sent from: SGS2 - JB 4.1.2 GB27 / SGS4 - JB 4.2.2 MF9
Nice module. But I wonder if it's possible that another icon then the sending app could be displayed (like App Icon instead of system icon in kill app or correct icon on uninstall toast)
Would be really nice!

Addition to above sown picture this mod have transparent status bar and grey circle battery icons. (there is patch for stock battery and black SB in post #2)
In post #2 there is links for possible different combination.
This is mod should work on tw based odexed/deodexed ROM
This mod have script to make backup of existing files and you can run attached revert zip to restore your previous files.
Installation :
1.Download White_extended_notification_menuV2.zip after this you can flash this to fix ongoing & notification title BG (image 2 is after applying fix)
2.Download white_extended_menu_revert.zip
3.Copy both files to SD card
4.Flash White_extended_notification_menu.zip with CWM/TWRP/Mobile Odin (in case of Mobile odin you need to select OTA/update zip option)
5.Reboot & Done!
If it doesn't work on your ROM
6.Flash white_extended_menu_revert.zip to restore your original files.
You can use Xposed framework and modules to make changes in UI to your choice
Here is Xposed Framework repository
- use TeakBox module to change statusbar transparency/color
- use Xposed battery module to change statusbar battery icons
- use change notification BG to make keep your own image in notification pull down menu
- Stock Battery and Black status Bar
nice. would be cool if you theme it more like note 8 :good:

I was just about to request this but then I saw your post. The 4.3 notifications have less unnecessary padding and the darker color goes along better with the system scheme.

I find that the padding makes it easier to catch my attention. I missed a lot of the older toasts. The new style is also a lot more attractive, but each to their own, I guess.

This mod isn't working for the app ES File Explorer when I delete a folder? The toast is still using the KitKat theme. Can anyone also check on this issue?
Thanks!
I love this module as I am not a fan of the new KitKat toast notifications. After using it for a day or two I've found a bug however. Another poster already mentioned it briefly, but the text on the toast is sometimes the same color as the background as you can see in this screenshot.
imgur.com/E7aGiCV
I'm using a stock Nexus 7 2013. Like I said, it doesn't happen every time, but the apps it occurs in are always the same. One more thing, I feel like the normal text color for when it does work seems a little dark. I remember the text being pretty much pure white in Jelly Bean.
Good job on bringing the old toasts back and I hope you can iron these bugs out!

Change of ringtone slider to media is related to SystemUI and requires SystemUI.apk modification,.

may be you can search for any xposed module that changes what you want..
Funfact: Thanks to V2, the Dialer-App is now visible in App-Drawer of P600.
BTW: Is it possible, to port the KeyguardWidget.apk of the Tab S, or at least add the new font of the clock?
Thank you.

Maybe a stupid question?

Hmm. I remember that i had tweaked something related to multilauncher, while working with this framework.. I think this was the effect..
Keygaurdwidget.apk is not present in note pro or the tab s.. may be i will try to change the font in the lock screen.. let me know which font you would like to have..
