3 days ago i unlocked my htc evo3d gsm phone, installed revolutionary recovery..and tried to flash roms..all of them stuck on bootloop.. i couldnt open my phone then i learned it ahs to be s-off and it can be done by 4extrecovery.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1848846 i did what he says and now i cant go to recovery section, when i tried it keeps restarting.. sorry for my english, hope i could make u understand my problem and help me
i done it as turning back to revolutionary back..just need img file of 4ext recover
just 1 thing
first of all im a supernoob.. i done with all things.. all i need a just an answer, couldnt find on forum..how to change revolutionary to 4ext for flash a rom? i dont even know if my question laughable but i wanna it so bad
i know this is 3rd post but i will just ask is this way.
s-on ,cwm revolutionary, hboot 1.53 = how can i flash rom on this phone
U can flash only ics roms with this hboot
U can change to 4ext recovery with the official app,i think this is the easyest way but put this in our adb folder and flash it via fastboot https://www.dropbox.com/s/ekzjyvjxnddk9a2/recovery_cwm6_shooteru.img
Type : fastboot flash recovery recovery_cwm6_shooteru_img
fastboot rebbot-bootloader
Select the recovery, download and flash the cool ics rom .it's will be 100% working
Boot into rom and install this https://www.dropbox.com/s/axllcorul8huw75/4EXT.Recovery.Control.2.4.6.CyberDevilz.apk
Enable the smart flash and flash other ics rom's

AFAIK with status "unlocked" and hboot 1.53 you can only flash ICS Sense based roms.
You are s-on, that means you have to flash the boot.img separately or you'll get probably boot-loops.
With 4ext recovery there is a "smartflash" option for s-on, so you don't need to flash boot.img separately.
You should read this for more information.

For the wire trick you need a working stock rom.
I'm not sure but I think adb has to be enabled.
For the wire trick it's recommended to use linux.
There's a link to a live cd on the juopunut bear page.
Maybe you retry it this way?
Two beer or not two beer, that's the question

However, there is now another option.

The only difference is you have to flash the boot.img file either before or after you flash the zip, and you have to do that via the gui program in apps or whatever, or via fastboot.
People with hboot 1.15 really need to read what capabilities you have.

I was having the same issue, I am on Hboot 1.5 S-On and you def. need to fastboot your boot.img. Follow the directions given, and if your phone is not picking up while connected thru USB, you might need to install drivers to your computer.
Hope that helps,

No, you won't lose s-off but you'll have to reflash the lazy panda hboot. Not sure about the latest (1.19), but probably the same deal. I wouldn't test it though, you're golden right now.

You are correct. Sorry I misunderstood that you were already s-off. You are correct, you do not need to unlock the bootloader. With the stock locked bootloader you will not be able to use fastboot commands. If you want to stay locked in would recommend using the juopunutbear patched hboot as it won't affect your locked status and will enable extra fastboot commands.
I'm confused as to what your current problem is? You are s-off but are you still stuck on the juopunutbear screen?
If so did you see the link in my first post? That offers steps to recover your phone if stuck in juopunutbear mode.

You don't even need that. Just adb sideload the ROM. I definitely suggest using hasoon2000's AIO for the HTC One. It really helped me when I got into a similar situation.

Yes it is and its always good to have an otg cable around
As long as you can get to the bootloader screen on any of these phones, you're in good shape. It's when you don't where you have problems. The advice in this thread is good.
Hello All,
I rooted my phone a long time ago and went from the stock rooted rom to MeanRom ICS. I then wanted to try other roms. I use TWRP 2.6 and tried everything to install a new rom. A friend suggested that I S-off my phone to see if that would work. I then tried Moonshine to S-off my phone. Now the phone wont boot at all. I can still get in the recovery and bootloader, but that's all I can do.
Here is my info for Bootloader:
Jewel PVT Ship S-on RL
HBOOT 1.19.0000
Radio 1.12.11.0809
OpenDSP v.29.1.0.45.0622
eMMC boot
Thanks in advanced for the help
First things first, welcome to XDA, and congrats on your first post/thread. Too bad that this is the reason for it.
On to more pressing matters...are you sure that you completed ALL of the steps in order? Also, did you happen to read this thread?

I'm assuming that you did, but if you didn't, it will be a good help.

Do you have a backup you can restore from recovery? If so, install your backup to get you up and running again. Otherwise, you can mount USB storage in recovery and copy a ROM from your computer to your phone, then flash the ROM. Remember since you're S-on you'll need to install the kernel separately from the ROM. Most Sense ROM's like MeanBean and Viper have a kernel installer built in; just follow the OP for whatever ROM you wish to install.
Also, you must either use Facepalm or Dirty Racun to gain S-off on your phone. Moonshine only works for those on Hboot 2.09/software version 3.16.
You can find links to Dirty Racun & Facepalm in the link in my sig.

Tried the backup I made a few days ago. No joy. I think that my bootlaoders fragged. When I boot into the bootloader, green text for the bootloader saying theres no PJ75Diag.img, PJ75Diag.nbh, and or PJ75.Diag.zip.
Sorry gang for bugging you guys like this. I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff. Thanks again for the help.

All that green text means is that the bootloader is looking for a PJ75IMG file on your external SD card. There isn't one normally there unless you're updating firmware. It's normal.
What ROM's have you tried to flash?

I load the backup, but the screen goes black after the initial HTC boot screen. I don't know what's going on.
I've tried CM 10.1 Nightly, Ubuntu touch WIP, and a few others. Everything seems to do just fine while installing, and then I reboot to a boot loop or staring at the HTC boot screen for a while.
When I rooted my phone, I went from CM 9 to MeanRom. After I went to MeanRom it acted kind of funky. I've not been successful at loading any new roms after that. I think I forced something that the phone didn't like onto it and now its stuck with it.
Try flashing MeanBean. Make sure you wipe properly before you flash it.

Should I go for the newest one? (3.09 or and older version)
The latest version should be just fine. The rom version doesn't change much aside from the fact that 3.09 has the latest changes and bug fixes.

In addition, make sure you follow Mikey's instructions on flashing the ROM since you're S-on for the time being. His ROM has a kernel installer that requires an extra step to install the kernel separately from the ROM on phones that are S-on.

Use Facepalm. It's Windows friendly. I think Bigdaddy619 or another user even has everything packaged up nice & neat so it's ready to run. I've personally never used it but I hear it's quick & painless. Make sure you Nandroid your current setup before you get started.

Ubuntu is packaged in a live distro, you don't have to install anything.

SuperCID for HTC Evo 4G LTE:
Code:
adb shell
su
echo -ne "22222222" | dd of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p5 bs=1 seek=20
After you do this start the other commands
Just take your time do one at a time and read what it says in the cmd window
Sorry to bother you guys again, but it says device not found when I enter adb reboot bootloader. Am I doing something wrong? I do beleive I have all the drivers. Sorry for being a pain, still learning about this stuff.
