Do you mean a way to take a snapshot of the screen?
If so, what version of Sony Android OS are you on? On .532, Holding Power & Vol. Down works, and should for newer versions.

There's also an icon for taking screenshots - via Recent Apps soft key.

Thanks!

Hey all, well, that's it, the power button doesn't turn off my screen, instead it takes me home (launcher). Any ideas?

Take a look in /system/user/keylayout/
Make sure power button is set to WAKE
Also if this doesn't work You can try some apps to shutdown screen.

You told the Headset Controller was infected. Resoring inffected app will lead to the same thing. You have to locate this app and do not restore it

Nope I didn't, I said the last app I installed before this problem was the Headset Controller, but yeah, probably the infected app is that one xD. I'll try restoring again without that app. Thx

Just a quick question, if you change the direction for the power button, and your screen doesn't wake up by other hardware buttons, how the hell do you turn your phone on?

Take the battery and put it back. Start up the device, and wait until it boots. When it finishes booting, change the screen timeout to 30 mkins, and every 20 mins touch the screen. Hope this helped xD
Well, I was just asking, but thanks.
Lol, what if I had a unremovable battery?

YouTube doesn't go into landscape mode.

It's happening on a couple apps, they don't seem to sense that I'm holding the phone in landscape. I've cleared cache and I've done a soft reset. Running the base 7.3 with no other problems. Any ideas?
Thanks

Edit: now it's stuck in landscape after using the camera.

Did you happen to have flashed Nocturnal mod ?
I flashed it, didn't like it so I tried to restore. Got an MD5 error so I had to flash the base again to get rid of the nocturnal mod.

I had the exact same happen to me, tried everything I could think of to fix it. Finally had to use lgnpst to restore, then reroot unlock and flash base.
I think I'll just wait to see if the next rom fixes it if that's the case. Does anyone know if there is an option to calibrate the sensors? I've looked but haven't found it

Under display in system settings, the last option but it will not help. You can be up and running in no time, lgnpst doesn't wipe data and there is an automated install script. Once you have everything downloaded it runs in few minutes.
I'll try that then, thanks

Fixed using lgnpst. Interesting fact my phone was missing the option to calibrate the sensors before restoring with lgnpst.

Are you aware you can take screen shots without an app by simultaneously pressing the tablet's POWER and VOL- buttons? Sony eSupport explains how HERE.

Instagram video

Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble getting this Instagram video to work? It pops up on my device and everything but won't take any video plus the screen for the video looks like crazy! If you have any suggestions let me know, I would really love to get this update to work.

The 4.2 camera doesn't play well with Instagram, vines, etc. Those apps are just upgrading to 4.1. If you love those apps you will have to find a 4.1 rom you can live with.

Hi. I want to not allow anyone from being able to turn off my phone, put it in airplane mode, or change the ringer settings because if someone turns it off, then Cerberus won't be able to track it. My phone is rooted (I know, I'm a badass) so if there is any tweak or any options that I could change, that would be great! Thanks in advance.
