If you are asking what it is, it shows network speed o statusbar.
If you are asking if we have it, read the OP. More correctly #2.
Next time please ask something good and with a correct form, that question you did is not a good question and is not easy to understand it.

Try just the rom and gapps without franco or dalvic patch, then you kind find out if it is the rom or something you added on

TeamVanir presents
VANIR
Yeah, it's got a HEMI.
Welcome to VanirAOSP. Our mission is to deliver a clean optimized version of Android to as many devices as possible. This is not a kang rom. You will find versions of the features you love that we've rewritten and improved on plus a few we wrote ourselves. we've tried to acheive a more organized and cohesive setup to improve the user experience while correcting any performance regressions and improving functionality.
BY LINARO, I MEAN GLOBAL "-O2 -fstrict-aliasing".... we didn't just switch toolchains. Here at Team Vanir, WE GO HARD.
I created this thread with the permission of Dave Kessler, one of the lead devs for Vanir Rom. This is not my work, rather the awesome effort of the Vanir Team. If you feel like donating, donate to the team, not me. I am not a dev in any way shape or form. Calling me a dev is like calling Mark Sanchez a quarterback. The goal of this thread is to help users with issues, and just talk in general about anything really.
If you're the kind of person that needs options to change the font and color on every letter and expect the ROM to end up looking like kid's cereal box then GTFO. You will not find customizations that are done just because someone figured out how to do them. Everything in here has a purpose and is held to a high standard of coding.
General features:
stock mode - ability revert to stock AOSP code with the exception of a few custom features we chose to keep active
enhanced performance.. longer uptime with less slowdown
custom written CRON and init.d.
minor UI and graphics improvements
custom navbar, navring, and hardware key features
active notifications (improved active display + lockscreen notifications)
usability improvements like power reboot menu and sound
animation control
Improved Vanir keyboard
CM's profiles & quicksettings
additional quicksetting tiles
immersive desktop <- fully configurable immersive mode
low profile mode
statusbar mods
clock & battery mods
lockscreen blur and other mods
soon to come -> quick cam and flash notifications
busybox, embedded root, init.d, cron etc
many improvements and new features unique to vanir
more to come when i feel like updating the op
Download
Download - DHO builds
Gapps - Vanir recommends the latest goo.im gapps or DHOs gapps
Issues:
- Flash CAF-Based Kernels with this ROM
- stop flashing the moto X binaries. they do not improve anything for you and aren't even for your device.
- open source camera and launcher3 do not have the same featuers as the google versions. use the latest
banks standard gapps if you'd like these. His gapps are super legit and always up to date.

Wow.....this is awesome ! @dhiru1602 is here
He is one of the most devoted, honest and daring developer that I have seen on XDA. I know him from Galaxy SL forum (although he wouldn't remember me )
Welcome here Dhiru :good:
Spread your magic here too
Welcome aboard
Guys, definitely try this ROM. This contains maximum open source stuff which is awesome. Things like screen record work which are broken in almost every other aosp ROM.
dhiru our galaxy sl saviour..!! Great to have you here..!!
OMG....look who is here....The GOD itself....
Feels nostalgic....Galaxy SL i9003 days...can not forget how he took that device to another level....

Will this work on SGH-T889 T-Mobile? I'm always up to trying new ROMS, and it's not often you see new ones for the Note2 these days. Welcome!

Haha that's what I said.. Lol.. The king himself.. Gabe sl anew life..
Shot from my Kitkat'ized Note 2 using xda premium app..
I So here I am.. Flashed nameless.. I was too eager to use it and could not wait for feedback..
But why wait for feedback..?? Its dhirus work so it had to be spot on..
Flashed rom
Flashed minimal gapps..
And booted..
The moment it boots you are welcomed by a very minimal bootanimation... I can call it a shining balls of stars..
Installed titanium backup.. And restored 157 apps.. All well.. No freezes till now.. Used camera.. Clicked around 25 pics no freezes no lag nothing.. Sound is sharp.. And levels are good..
There is a plethora of customizations but they are a bit scattered.. When I say scattered I mean a few things are under an option called device control.. Which is a tab based app..
The rest are there as usual.. Though a few things under device control say ur phone does not have these features so probably it's a specific app and shows different features for different devices..
There is no hover.. No active display anyways needed none of these..
There's heads up and there are lockscreen notifications that do there job perfectly..
Theme engine working well.. I have more than 35 themes installed.. Few of them are partially applied because the settings is different from stock cm but no deal breaker..
The rom looks really really solid.. And kickass..
The kernel is omni kernel by default and seems to be tweaked.. I am sticking to stock kernel for a day since it's omni based kernel probably omni plasma will work and so should agni..
Haven't tried them but I will.. But at the moment stock kernel looks really solid..
Lets see what esle dhiru has up its sleeve..
And dhiru if u need me for any kind of testing lemme know.. Ready for that.. Sticking to this rom for. The Time being my daily driver..
Anyone has any doubts wanna ask something go ahead and shoot..
Wohoo..
Cheers..

****This kernel has been built for and thoroughly tested on OctOs rom. It should work very well on most "CM" based roms. We also can confirm (although less tested) that it also works on the following "AOSP" based roms.*****
-Dirty Unicorns
-Pure Nexus
Please do not mirror our files! We can do that ourselves if needed!
I want to give Credits to the following xda users.
@flar2 A huge Thanks to Flar2 for his permission and help
@alucard_24 - For the Darkness Governor
@Jamison904 - For the Bioshock Governor
@twistedumbrella for the UmbrellaCore Governor
@faux123 for many extras
@Perseus for all his wisdom and help!!
@bthorne79 for the "birth" of the "Kraken"

No It should not. That is left to be controlled at the Rom level but the kernel does support encryption. If you find behavior to the contrary, then please post Rom name and if Rom's Encryption was completely turned off or not.
I can see Hammerhead version on Androidfilehost. Does it have equally features like Shamu version?

If you're referring to DT2S and DT2W then yes it does. If you're referring to Unlock tap Patterns, then that's not baked in.

Just to be straight, if I was to flash CM13 and this kernel it would force encrypt since CM13 in stock form encrypts. Right? I Matt want to be clear on this and I know that it sounds like I am beating a dead horse... Lol.. I have tried it already on other roms but have held off on CM until completely sure. Thank you.

You are correct . CM does force encryption. An alternative that you can do to keep your device unencrypted is using this

That is what I used to be on the safe side. And it worked like a charm. Thank you very much for the clarification.
Man I gotta tell you your bioshock governor is seriously the best governor I've ever used for my N6! This kernel really is solid. Thanks. I hope you keep adding some more things but as it is it fits my needs perfect til Android N drops.

We will be adding more features for sure . We have a lot of devices we are planning to bring up for support so we are getting a solid base with solid features and modeling the rest after that.

Thanks for the kernel, I'm looking forward to putting it through its paces.
Is colour calibration on the way? The Nexus 6 screen is garbage without it.
Cheers,
-A
