Oh sorry, just wanted to get this known and hopefully it would help. Why would it be just the kernel and not the Rom?
Huh. That would suggest zva may drop soon.

LG wouldn't release source code for their proprietary apps and such.
Just take a look at it yourself.
So I can properly post this next time other than the question part where would I post this?

Did your tree contain board-hero specific patches?
i.e., support for HTC Hero.
Not meaning to offend you, but if you don't know what board-hero is, you won't get far with getting 2.6.33.

Hi
Could someone compile a frandom kernel module for xperia (for mine SK17i for example ) in order to take full advantage from CrossBreeder?
Please don't answer "Go compiling it by yourself, n00b!".
Please.
Thanks, bye.

Nope, it's question "could someone compile". It's not development.
Frandom is included in the nAa kernel

Well, I'm not able to do it; the right sentence would better be: "have someone yet compiled or is it in development or knows how to find it"?
CrossBreeder works also without frandom, i was just curious to try it.
However, no problem for thread moved.

I've locked BL, planning to unlock since ages but never had time (your kernel looks very tasty! ).
I just thing would be useful using precompiled modules for stock kernel, as we can do using usb otg modules.
Hello guys! I've compiled the Stock Kernel for the Player 4.2 and changed only one line in it. (Thanks to XDA_Bam!) It seems very smooth to me, please post your results. The Source Package was named WW (maybe WorldWide?), it's working on my EU Player.

How to:
Just install it via CWM.
File edited, changed partition in updater-script and uploaded again!

Hmm just wondering, you do know that when you flash something to the wrong block, it can possibly lead to a brick. The reason I ask this is because the block you use for flashing isn't the good one. (msm_sdcc.1). You would better be good with mmcblk0p5. (which I think is the kernel partition).

Already mentioned that there is not all the source code. Wait for the official release already.

Thanks to sub77,
we got a booting Android 5.1.1 ROM.
Downloads:
ROM: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347819963
Recovery: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B5EVF8f93NAlWUFWeHRjdXFXMkE
What is highly recommended?
DON'T INSTALL G-APPS, OR IT WON'T BOOT
What works?
1.) Charging
2.) Booting
What don't work?
1.) Almost everything
What are some things to execpt?
1.) Lag, Lag, Lag, & Lag
2.) Crashing (A Lot)
3.) Random reboots
Can I look at your Source code?
device tree, marvell trees, kernel, other stuff?

What?
Do you know what compiling a Rom means?
Or do you know what porting a rom from one device to other mean?
If you don't know what either of these mean, then this is not your Rom, i want to contact the developer.

On the top I gave 100% credit of who made this ROM, I found it on the internet and I posted it on XDA so everyone can give it a try. I never knew it was going to hurt anyone for me to post a ROM.
All I know, it is the real Android 5.1.1 Lollipop made by sub77.
