I just switched to the Neutrino v2.2. Tried GT first then the EE. both are not going past the dualcore boot screen. I formatted my SD card before installing the rom. Not sure what i need to do to fix this. I can still get into recovery also but IDK how im going to put another rom on the sd card to try another one any suggestions?
This is a known issue with Neutrino at the moment. All you need to do is when it gets to the Boot screen just pull the battery and boot again, should work after that.

tried that 2x will try again..
Also, I noticed you said you put it on your sd card. I think you need to install it from the internal storage. Just boot into recovery and go to "Mount storage" and select to mount the internal storage and plug into your computer. Should be able to move files then.

you can move files w/o being able to get into the rom?? btw i tryed battery pull and still stuck at the boot screen :-/
I can see my sd card but my "g" drive is not avail..
Yes. Which recovery are you using? When you boot into recovery there should be "- mounts and storage", select it and at the bottom there should be "mount USB storage"

yup seen it and did it. I see my SD card in mycomputer but the G drive wich is my internal is not accessable
That's weird because "G" usually means External for me. Anyways, try selecting "mount emmc" in the same menu

actually mounted all of them so i knew i got the right 1 lol maybe that is the problem is the emmc folder..... is there a way i can "reflash" ext 4 or 3? i still have the emmc but if im not mistakin thats what the ext 3 or 4 creates.
That's just how CWM reads the file structure. If you can access it then it will work when flashing by selecting "install zip from internal storage".... I think. It's been a while since I have had to use it that way. But if you can access the internal storage then try putting the ROM zip there and retry flashing from internal

Thats the problem. I cant access the internal i just can access the sd card where I already put the zip file :-?
Well, you can put another ROM zip there that can be flashed from external. Also, make sure to perform the wipes necessary, either through fastboot or recovery. Hope you get it worked out.

could the problem lie with formatting the EMMC?
Possibly, at this point you're probably looking at a full wipe anyways so it shouldn't hurt anything.

I appreciate all your help bro
full wipe as in fact reset/delete cache and dalvik if so i do that each and every time I switch roms
Yeah, that's what I meant. Although, some people recommend doing the full "fastboot erase [partition]" wipes if you are going from a Blur based ROM to a CM7 based ROM, and vice versa.
boot into fastboot
fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase webtop
fastboot erase preinstall
fastboot reboot
NOTE: when using this method you should already have the ROM zip on your phone and when you give the "reboot" command be prepared to boot directly into recovery (by holding Vol down after pressing "Enter") as this method erases the system.

not real familiar with the fastboot commands trying to find some info on it here. i remember doing it 1x when i unlocked my bl
I'm embarrassed to ask such a stupid question, but I've been digging around for hours and couldn't find an answer. Using TWRP, I was attempting to flash MeanROM. I placed the ROM in my Dropbox and downloaded it to my phone using the default browser. Booted into recovery and began to follow the steps. I created a backup, did my wipes, etc. So when I was finally ready to flash, I went into Install and have no idea where the ROM was saved. I thought it would be easy enough to find so I didn't bother checking where it saved before hand. I also couldn't find where my Backup saved so I couldn't even restore from there.
Could you please help me find my ROM or backup?
Switch mount points, perhaps the Rom is on external and not internal

I don't have an external SD card installed. I imagine that the ROM is in the default saving location for the browser, I just don't know how to navigate there. And I have no idea what the default saving location is for TWRP backups.
Downloads from the stock browser goes to my external sd card in the downloads folder. There's also a downloads folder on my internal card.

Back ups are stored in TWRP/BACKUPS

So I did a system wipe and it looks like that's where I went wrong. The directions said to wipe everything but I guess I got carried away as it looks like it cleared everything off. The only thing under the sdcard folder is a TWRP folder. But when I press Install and then go into /sdcard/TWRP, there's nothing in there. Shouldn't the back up I created be in there?
Please tell me I didn't brick my phone my doing the system wipe.

You didnt brick, you just need to put a rom on the card and flash. If boot fails, you will need to flash kernel through fastboot

When I tried mounting my phone to my computer from TWRP, it shows up as a drive on my computer, but when I try to click on it, I get the following message:
The Disk in drive F is not formatted.
Do you want to format now?
Is it safe to go ahead and format and will that erase all that's left on my phone?

Great, I'll give that a shot when I get home. One last question, which parts should I mount to format? System, data, or cahce?
you only need to select mount and then mount as storage, everything else can be wiped in recovery

Can you please be more specific? What's your phone condition right now and what steps do you follow?.
When you do a super wipe you lose everything on your internal sd card. You need to have a rom ready to install via cwm on your EXTERNAL sd card. If you haven't take your external card out and load a rom via your pc onto the external sdcard. Then via CWM load rom from your external sd card.

Forget about Super Wipe, it's not needed unless your cards are just that messed.
Odin a stock rom from Sammobile
Format the External SD Card from the phone!
CF-Root it / CWM + SuperSU
Go to recovery, flash the ROM
Wipe in recovery all data + cache + dalvik
Stay safe and backup EFS

Hi, I'm using the Dorimanx Kernel along with the Ressurection Remix ROM and I was wondering, can I format my internal sd card in any way? The latest version has bugged the storage opting in the settings so I can't possibly manage this that way.

When you say format internal storage are you referring to wiping it via rom or recovery?
If recovery have you tried another kernel?
If rom them why not change rom version??
By the way the word you was looking for was "pardon".

Am I automatically required to use the word pardon? Lolwut.
And when I say format internal SDcard then I mean wiping it clean so that only the necessary folders and files are remaining.

Well your internal SD is partitioned. When you wipe data/factory reset teh system partition is returned to default. You could then wipe the card you want to format when mounted via USB in Windows, all needed files would be re-created on fist boot of factory reset system afaik.
Remember to backup what you want to keep like photos/efs backup folder etc etc.
Reboot in recovery, go into "mounts and storage" menu and format the internal SD card.

Nice, thanks! Will this remove any files related to my rom & kernel?
Will this remove any of my important files and will I have to install the rom all over again? Or am I good to go?
Nope, but all your data and settings will be gone. It's like you started your phone for the first time.
